This second time around, they only had time for a 30minute massage (my fault I should have called in advance) but nevertheless, that was probably one of THE BEST 30 minute massages I have ever had!! I called on a Friday at around 11:15am and booked an appt for 12pm for the same day. It is located between Euclid and La Palma in a plaza, parking outside the lot. The front desk staff is very friendly and nice. You actually pay first, then get your massage. 1 Hour is $70 cash and credit card will be $73. For 90 minute massage it will be $100 in cash and $105 with credit card, not including tip. I wanted to do 1 hour since it was my first time and I did a full body. I asked for hard pressure and it did not disappoint. Felt relaxed, great, loosened up and a great stretch at the end. I will definitely be going back. read more

My masseuse was name dee and I thought she did an excellent job. Super receptive to my feedback and pressed harder when I asked her to. Her feet had such precision. I was fortunate to have Nila as my masseuse. She began by asking if I wanted to focus on any areas (neck, shoulders, and lower back) and what pressure I preferred (strong). Thai massages are known for their intensity, but her technique and movements were smooth, deliberate, and painless. She focused on the problem spots as requested, and the session didn't feel rushed. The products she used also smelled very pleasant. This establishment is located in a small strip mall, but don't be fooled by its appearance. However, there are some things to keep in mind: - The massage beds are separated by curtains, not walls. - There is a 3% fee for credit cards. - You will be asked to remove all your clothes down to your underwear. They took such good care of us at Araya! I called the day before to make a reservation for 4 people for 1-hr massages on a Sunday afternoon and they were happy to accommodate. I believe I saw either 4 or 5 rooms in the space. The woman who took the reservation and greeted us upon arrival was super friendly and welcoming. From my experience, this place is pretty standard for Thai massage - nothing to get excited about from the outside, simple setup, firm table so the therapist can move around on it a lot and bars near the ceiling so they can balance when walking on your back. I found the place clean and pleasant. My therapist spoke enough English that I was able to communicate easily with her - I let her know of an injury and she was able to work around it well. She thoroughly beat me up and stretched me (as you expect from Thai massage) but it didn't cross my pain threshold so gold stars. All therapists are women and are very professional. There are times you're not fully covered based on the stretch positions so if you have modesty concerns, this might not be the right experience for you but it didn't bother me. 1-hr is currently $60 (or $63 if paying by credit card) plus gratuity (well earned). Some places make it hard to ask for pressure adjustments but this place was fantastic on making sure both me and my wife were comfortable on pressure. Also in terms of how they conduct their Thai massage compared to other places, I believe this place to be nicer.
