Perhaps they were having a bad day when I had my appointment. When I checked in I made it abundantly clear that I wanted to concentrate on my feet and that I did not want a body massage. Unfortunately just the opposite happened and the young lady spent very little time on my feet and most of the time on the rest of my body. She did not understand English and I tried several times to let her know that I wanted the attention focused on my feet. Also when my time was up she immediately said done and starting pushing me off the bed. The place wasn't busy so its not like they had other clients waiting so no sure why the rude behavior. What didn't help my massage was that the person across from me was snoring incredibly loud and made it impossible to try to relax. I asked for hard pressure, that was my first mistake when getting a massage from someone who doesn't really know the body, I got the full arsenal, elbows, forearms and every other bony appendage digging into the most tender areas of my back, the spinal column should just be an off limits area for any elbow, she was playing mine like a xylophone. Maybe there are masseuses with more knowledge of the body, but this one felt like lots of pinching, and squeezing, I had a knot on my shoulder and she just rode over it like a speed bump and never looked back, it would have been nice to get it worked on for a quick second. read more

I called same day to make reservations for 3 ppl on Friday night. Walking in, it was clean, quiet and dimly lit. There are no private rooms just curtains. They took all three of us right away. We all had the 1 hr basic foot massage to cure our previous hiking aches but also added on hot stones. In addition to the legs, they also spent a bit of time massaging head, shoulders, arms and back. We all went in not expecting anything fancy so this was a pretty good experience. Overall, this is a good place for a casual foot massage. However please note, because it's in a strip plaza, you can here things going on outside (ex. Car alarms going off) Also, try to make your appointment with a masseuse other than the receptionist. I got a combination Swedish massage with hot stones and it seems like maybe my husband got a deep tissue massage (?). My massage was great but my husband said his was really painful and the masseuse used her elbows (in fairness, he did not say anything about it though). I'm honestly really sad about this massage. I've been here a handful of times during my pregnancy & have always gotten really good, thorough massages. The last few times I went my masseurs were amazing. But this time I think my masseuse was tired. She sat on the bed almost during the whole time she massaged me. She only did the left side of my back. Didn't ask me to turn to the other side to massage my right. She was just basically rubbing the oil on my back, no pressure, no massage, nothing. The hot stones were the only thing that felt good through out the massage. Really sucks to have spent money on something that didn't even relax me or feel good at all. What I thought was a very nice relaxing place turned out to be yet another tip hustle location. My first visit was great, going on a weekday with very few people. Even the construction during that time wasn't a deterrent. Because I enjoyed the visit so much I took my girlfriend this time and on this visit, they seemed to have lost their mind. My girlfriend asked specifically for a female masseuse and they pretended as though they didn't know what she was saying because there were no females available that we could tell. When it came to paying, the male masseuse completed the transaction and complained about me leaving a 9 dollar tip. I explained to him that the massages were "alright". He pushed the issue saying "you can't give one more dollar?" I told him "1 more dollar is going to cost you no tip and no more visits from me." I find it odd that you understood an entire conversation when pushing for a higher tip but didn't understand a basic request for a female masseuse. After telling him this, of course he transitioned to engaging in a conversation in his native language with another masseuse then following up with tell me "that's ok." One sure way to loose a customer is to make the customer feel uncomfortable for not leaving a tip. You were paid for your service and that's all you deserve.
