I've always found the front staff to be very friendly and in addition to a reminder card in the mail before your appointment, they will also give you a call. I've had a variety of dental hygienists over the years, but my favorite is Chrissy. If someone has to go poking around my mouth with a sharp object, I prefer they not mess around and just get it done. Dr. Stahlecker is great with the shots when I have to get them for fillings and she is very patient with me as my tongue tends not to cooperate when she is trying to take care of a filling. The other two dentists here are a father/daughter team and I've seen the daughter once when Dr. Stahlecker was on vacation. Again, I've never had any issue with anyone I've dealt with here and would recommend this practice to anyone new to the area or simply looking to switch dentists.

He then stated that that was just a "shadow" and that I have no cavities. Which was already hard to believe cause I was not taking good care of my teeth and was going there to begin my journey to restore my smile health. I did question this diagnosis of a "shadow" and he told me yes there is no cavity there even though, I could see it with my own eyes not even needing an x-ray. Flash forward to 2025 and I was having extreme pain in that tooth so we went back and he then said the tooth would need a root canal and crown. How could that be if there "was no cavity" in the first place so we began that process. the Dr said he could complete the procedure but when it was all said and done turns out he never even finished cleaning the root out!! AND sealed a massive infection in my tooth with a crown!!!! All because the root was curved and his tools couldn't handle cleaning it out properly without breaking my tooth root stating "that's as far as we can go" not "OK the tooth is all cleaned out". Instead of referring me out he went ahead and did the procedure and took our money happily since we were paying out of pocket. Then I was left with a horribly fitting crown destroying my bite and opposing teeth, and the crown was so cheap that when I had to go somewhere else to have the tooth actually cleaned and a proper root canal done the other dentist said that when he drilled through the tooth the crown was flaking away like a piece of plastic and, inside the tooth itself, they opened it and the first thing they said was "wow". I had 2 other fillings placed in this office on cavities they also "missed" during that cleaning as they couldn't have formed in a bit under 2 years by the son that was struggling so bad to reach the teeth that those two fillings had me there for about 3 hours and then ultimately a few days later turned into abscessed infections and needed root canals also. The office finance guy was not willing to refund us the money that we asked for because we didn't pay for the 2 fillings yet that ended up infected so he would give us what was left over after he took the money out for those and that they would replace the crown for free. Why would I want cheap crown in MY mouth. I WILL NEVER LET THESE PEOPLE COME NEAR MY MOUTH AGAIN. I would never send my friends, neighbors, or loved one to them. After I got the estimates for the dental work to be done from the insurance, which were higher than expected, I asked to be sent somewhere else to complete the rest of the work, with a dentist that is actually a Preferred Delta Dental PPO provider for real. But this office decided to charge my insurance for the rest of the work that they never performed and now I have to take action in getting my money back to go somewhere else. They charged my insurance for installing a crown that they did not install! Be very, very careful! Do not trust their website. Check with your insurance. I am still walking around without a tooth, and they charged my insurance for completing this work! The office did not answer my email either, regarding billing. I asked for a refund for the part of the claim they charged my insurance, but they did not complete. They still have my tooth but charged my insurance for installing it in my mouth. Well, it is not in my mouth! Ciara is very rude and unhelpful and did not call me back after the front desk said she will check on coverage and let me know. She continues to insist the dentist is a PPO delta dental preferred provider even though he is not. Their website also advertises this. No one answered my email either. It is quite unbelievable that they charged my insurance for installing a crown, and I still have a missing tooth. They did not call me or email me back or contact me back in any way. Very dishonest. Be warned! All I asked was to be issued a refund for the portion that the insurance paid them for, but they did not yet complete. Dr commented verbally that i must be someone who needs more Novocaine. I assumed they would have made a note of that in my chart. For the second filling I was already very nervous about the procedure and it was obvious enough since i was shaking in the chair enough they they offered me a blanket-thanks but being chilly was not my main concern. They again failed to give me enough Novocaine. By this point i was a wreak in the chair while they attempted to give me more Novocaine. How did they not make sure this didn't happen again?!!! I had tears streaming down my face, my whole body was shaking, hands had a death grip on the arm rest. How anyone could not tell i was in serious distress is beyond me. no suggestion of any other way to address my fear. No laughing gas, not even taking the time to stop what they were doing to see how i could be helped. I practically jumped out of the chair as soon as it was over with the silent vow to never ever return. I've been terrified to even get a cleaning since then. I say all this because the website indicates that they provide support and aid to those with dental fears. They don't. You get a musty blanket and headphones to listen to music. If you have any kind of dental anxiety this is not the place for you.

He was among the first dentist to master and use the wand to administer septocain to numb pain. If you have not experienced the wand, it is virtually painless because the needle is so small. Anyone with a fear of getting numbed up should visit Dr. Willderman. He and his wonderful staff are very calming and the dental work, including cosmetic dentistry is first rate. It is no wonder that he is named among the top dentists in the Philadelphia region.

I have been a patient in this office for quite a few years. Back in 2023 the dentist there said I…read moreneeded to replace an old crown, which I had done there. I had cleaning every 6 months or a yearly, I had X-rays when they said I was due. No one said I had a cavity or any issue with my teeth. In 2026 I was there for a routine cleaning and when the dentist came in, he said I needed to replace that same crown. I asked him why? it's not that old? He said it's not fitting correctly. I called the office and asked them to send me the x-rays. I told her my problem and she suggested I have a consultation with the owner, which I did a couple days later after that cleaning. He said I have a cavity under that crown. I asked why didn't your dentist tell me that, I was just here a couple days ago. He said he will talk to him. I question if I have a cavity there, I really do! The office called me and said the the owner would discount a price of a new crown and charge $420. He did not take responsibility that the crown was not put in properly in 2023. It was nothing I did or didn't do. When I got home I spoke to my husband, who is a retired dentist, he looked at the x-rays and said if I have a cavity there it is likely due to the open margin of the crown. He said it was not seated correctly. My insurance will not pay for a crown that is 3 years old. I would not go back to that office now even he said he will replace it at no charge. One doc said nothing about a cavity, two days later another doc said I have a cavity!! I lost my trust in them. I rather pay elsewhere and have it done correctly. They lost me and my uncle as patients.

Back then she was compassionate. On time. Complimentary. She even went so far as to verbally reprimand a hygienist (who is no longer there) who repeatedly asked me if my mother got mammograms after I told her that my mother had died from breast cancer. My dad moved to the area recently and I recommended Dr Kachur to him for a dentist. His experiences were nothing but negative. She arrived late multiple times and seemed very focused on herself during conversations. This was not the doctor I knew and I couldn't believe he was having these experiences. I was a little wary when she told me last spring that she thought I was a heavy grinder and needed a mouth guard right away. This was the first time in 8 years she mentioned something. Then was a little put off when I couldn't afford to dish out the $500 to cover the cost my insurance won't pay. First red flag. Fast forward to my last appointment with her in December 2015. I went for a cleaning and to fix a filling that had chipped for the second time. Dr. Kachur showed me the colors she had shown my dad. Very abrasive emotionally and rough shoving a film in between my teeth. When I started to cry she got all defensive and walked out. Jackie one of the hygienists comforted me. I took the blame when Dr Kachur came in and said I was extra emotional due to fertility drugs I was taking at the time. I always take the blame especially in situations where I don't want to create a scene. Dr. Kachur proceeded to tell me that she had to tell her doctor years ago that her hormonal meds she took years ago made her super emotional and therefore she wanted to stop. I took this as her implication that she thought I should do the same. You don't imply that to anyone much less a woman who struggles with infertility! She also never said sorry for being abrasive with me and asked me why I was crying because she "didn't say or do anything wrong." Later that day I decided to walk away for good from this practice. I wish that all the recognition that she has gotten didn't change her personality. Because long ago she was a kind doctor. It's a sad shame. I must say that Jackie, Louise, Lily and the other people I have encountered have been nothing but kind. But the way I was treated the last time by a doctor was the deciding factor for me to leave.
