Hi Sam, I'm happy to explain how the VA works and how family's can be given money money to help them through school for supporting the soldiers that help support them while they are deployed. In the military we're called dependents. My dad served 35+ years in the military, he's high ranking and heavily respected there's no way I could ever scam money from the VA not only is it's illegal and impossible but please feel free to report me to the VA if you feel compelled to do so. Since you don't value the VA's support I'll be happy to request your school no longer be able to provide that financial assistance to your school. Me and Sandra had a written and verbal agreement that we'd wait until the VA gave me the money to pay. All of a sudden after I asked Jo to speak to you and Ann about Emily I get a text saying I must pay the entire $4k upfront or I can't come back to school, so three days later I came back with 4K in cash from my personal account and was asked to leave the school anyway. The correlation and timing is funny. I never threatened any students in that school with bodily harm I never even talked to them unless it was to encourage them. It's funny, when joe and I spoke I made it very clear that I wasn't there for friendships I was only there to graduate SHE actually told me that I should focus on making more friends and being more involved with the other girls. So please explain how I would be told to come out of my shell if I was "threatening" or inserting myself in drama? You're school is very very very stuck on the "angry black girl" narrative and it's tired. Not to worry though, I know who I am and you're not the only beauty and culture school in America. I never begged to go to your school. And I haven't attended five different schools. I've attended three: community college to which I transferred to Arizona state and got my B.S in biochemistry and was and still am pursuing my masters while also attending Ann Webb. AWSKI is one of the most unprofessional experiences I've had in my life. Sam and Ann Webb and Joanna Marceaux are shady people. They have students work as "interns" at their spa while accruing school hours. They use students to mix Ann's retail products in an unsanitary space. We were instructed to use water to dilute the products to make them go further. It's about clocking hours any way you can- whether you are out running errands or going to lunch, or sitting in the school watching a movie. There's very little substance to their curriculum. The staff puts on a great face, acting very warm and polite initially, but once they have your money, you see a whole new side of that place. If you decide to go- make sure you have expectations right that you will be treated with little respect and ruled with fear and force. Joanna makes it clear that 3/4 of your time in school should be spent cleaning their facility. Ann has a huge temper, is very crude and I saw her raise her voice with employees and students. Sam takes a special liking to the particularly beautiful women in the group and give special treatment. Not a place I would ever choose to spend my time and money with again. read more

My roommate found out about this place from her co - worker and had a great experience here. She left a menu of services on the counter along with a $20 coupon. I was really impressed by everything they offer from eyelashes to hair to skin and more! They do it all. It is so beautiful and tranquil inside and the rooms seem to be neverending. So there is the skin clinic side and the school side but they all work together. Monica did my facial which last for over an hour. There were several steps involved and many different products used and honestly I don't remember all of them. But they put notes in their system everything that was used. It is very customized. WORST SCHOOL EVER! Very unprofessional and unorganized. They do not care about their students. My daughter who was a student there and half way through was expelled because someone said she was "stealing hours". She wasn't. She forgot to clock out when school ended one day. She was given no warning and her enrollment was terminated. The school has no proof because there was no "stealing" of hours. The school took her student aid funding though! When asked for proof, was told my Sam the owner that another student said so! The school is a waste of money and broke my daughters heart. One of the worst experiences if my life. Rampant unprofessionalism, bullying and favoritism. They force you to get way too close to classmates and "hang out" whether you want to or not. Weird field trips one of which I had to go to the doctor for and was on bed rest for two weeks! They took us to a shady massage parlor as an example of the industry (my first massage ever) and I was left feeling gross and in pain. I quit the school THAT DAY. Her products are formulated and produced in labs and have the same unnatural ingredients that every of big brand has. A lot I didn't agree with. Not to mention they do not care if you don't want to use them on your own face while you are at school there. You HAVE to. Over the last few years I developed some dark irregular blotched skin on my neck and had sought help from several healthcare providers and aestheticians. Went in for a facial and eyebrow tint/shape and received truly amazing services from Tessa. I'd never had a facial before and I was asking when I could come back before my session was over. Not only was Tessa incredible with the facial, she's also a pro masseuse!
