I'm not a vegetarian nor vegan but they have some pretty tasty items. The people are nice and fairly quick. Aesthetic and flavor are good. Worth checking out.

Peace, healthy food, kind people, fills your soul not just the stomach! Food: The immunity tea served hot is delicious. Beyond burger is yummy too. The samosas are perfect. The spinach omelet is super tasty. Service was excellent. Location is easy to walk to and parking in the street is pretty good mid day Sat. Clean, beautiful decor and they sell cards, and things which is nice. Highly recommend this place for the conscious mind body and soul.

Very fresh & homemade... please be aware the food is not overly seasoned or salted compared to most Indian joints bc it's cooked very healthy... the potato onion cakes and steam chickpea/rice dumpling with coconut curry was crack, we order the curry dish and went with the curry veggies and chickpea/cauliflower curry and it was lovely... as was the Sambhar & Daal as soup starters... we left with both chocolate cakes to go and it was a great dessert after we....

Very soothing and uplifting place to grab lunch! Upon entering this sacred restaurant, it feels like a mental vacation, your body shrugs with relief as the aroma of incense and soothing acoustic music take over. I had an order of the soy "chicken" burger which was so delicious! This will definitely be my new meal when fasting! I also tried the Chinese platter. I loved the noodles and the sauce that accompanied the entree. Not to mention, the bill was super cheap and affordable!!

Let's try something different! Annam Brahma is a vegetarian restaurant owned and operated by students of spiritual master Sri Chinmoy. Their place is a peaceful oasis with music and videos to inspire the heart. For appetizer we had Samosas and Tofu salad, delicious! For main we had Vegetables curry with rice and burger. Also nice.

This is a nice, tranquil spot that I recent discovered. I've come here for dinner and for a quick bite. They have a regular menu, as well as daily specials. Thursdays are Italian and their lasagna is so delicious. The environment is very close knit and friendly. All seem welcome to come here and the staff are very friendly.

This is the oldest vegan restaurant in queens. The service was very nice the waiter was sweet. I really liked her. The food on the other hand was OKAY. I recommend their hot chocolate it is a different type of experience. I would not really come here on a regular day I would have to really crave vegan food. I hope they do well.

I visited AB after hearing high praises about the vegetarian cuisine. My Godparents raved about the food. After my 1st visit I now understand the hype. Annam is the sister to the local vegan cafe Panorama of My Heart located just north on Parsons. This location is very eye catching because of the chic light blue paint and alluring window display. I was not expecting Panorama Part II when I entered the restaurant and had no idea they were related having not done my homework. The vibe here is very zen and peaceful. I caught myself experiencing a room full of people but these serene peaceful moments of silience. Either that or too many people were lost in a food coma. I was captivated by the beautiful window shrine display paying homage to the founder. A white linen sofa, fresh flowers, books and photos. I studied the menu and the waitress informed us of the daily specials. I decided on the Palik Paneer mixed with vegetable curry, dal And basmati rice. I later paired that with fresh Naan. I also ordered a Ginger Peppermint iced tea. For my daughter I ordered steamed vegetables, dal and basmati rice as well. The other guests ordered koftka and began meatball kabob. When our food arrived it was everything I imagined and more. I always order Palik Paneer (cheese spinach curry) so it definitely met my expectations. The dal was tasty but I missed the spice. Next visit I will definitely go spicier. ::Cues Rihanna:: CAKE! CAKE! CAKE!!!!! The vegan desserts were out of this world good. We were celebrating a birthday and the desserts were just the right way to celebrate. The Carrot cake was delicious. Moist, filled with fresh raisins, walnuts and full of carrot. The Layered Chocolate Cake was HEAVENLY! They also have a coconut crusted Dark chocolate cheesecake. Amazing! Out of all the local indian eateries this one definitely takes the literal CAKE. Everything here is perfectly made. They take their time cooking. So You know it's real. The 5 star reviews lived up to my experience and I will be back.

Straight up weirdos all around BUT the food was delicious. They could go for some better drink options but whatever. The food makes up for the lack of drinkage. I had the cheeseburger with fries. Yummyyyyy fries. Soo yummy. The cheeseburger was AMAZING! Cheesecake..ALSO AMAZING! Everything was super cheap and delicious so you quickly get over all the wierd stuff surrounding you. There was also a buffet that I was in no way shape or form trying to hit up. I have this weird thing about open food in silver containers.. IDK. Just weird. I think the smell of the food on the silver and the condensation just makes it smell all strange and makes me sick..I wasn't with that. And with all the weirdos around who know what was in there on some jim jones don't drink the kool-aid swag. Anyways...aside from the creepness I'd go back. My favorite girl took me to celebrate my bday so it was a blast.

Such a unique, special restaurant! My family picked Annam Brahma because of its vegetarian offerings and it really feels like a hidden jewel in Jamaica. They have a wide variety of vegetarian Indian food and also offer fun daily specials, like vegan fried chicken (which was delicious!). Their samosas were great. The interior is bright, colorful, cozy and the staff was so warm and friendly.

Lunch special which includes rice, dal, a choice of curry + chutney all else than $5.

This place doesn't exactly match the dishes Oneness produced, it is more cafe/breakfast/brunch. You order your items at the counter and they give you a number for your table. There is a discount for cash. We ordered the French toast and croissant deluxe. I enjoyed the french toast, which is one of the higher cost items on the menu its probably not worth the cost. Fresh fruit and whipped cream with a side of maple syrup comes with this. The croissant deluxe comes packed with scrambled eggs, fake bacon and avocado. Its a better value making for a very satisfying sandwich. The drinks are well made here - I just had a regular cup of coffee. They serve a good one. The butterfly pea latte was comes out looking very beautiful with actual butterfly pea floating on the surface. The vibes here are very calm. They also offer daily special with soup and salad. I picked the Lentil soup with Kale this time. They always have vegan pancakes on the menu, but when I went, the special was vegan peach and mango pancakes piled high with vegan whipped cream and a little cinnamon. We went on a Saturday morning, which was busy but it was only a 10 minute wait for a roomy booth. We ordered a vegan egg, cheese and sausage sandwich and a vegan Philly cheesesteak. No greens, breakfast hash, fries, etc. So when ordering, keep that in mind. The strawberry banana smoothie was so good and the ginger shot was good value for the price. We were still a bit hungry so we grabbed a cookie from the front cashier and had it added to our bill. I would come back, pretty much because it's the only vegetarian/vegan diner that I know of.

I read their webpage on the story of the restaurant. It is own by a Sri Lankan couple - one Singhalese and one Tamil. Their love represents the union of the two groups of folks who had long lasting conflict and tension in the country. At this restaurant, you can experience the culinary fusion of the two distinct tradition. We ordered: - mutton roll 5/5 - calamari lamprais 6/5 AMAZING!! - deviled king fish 5/5 Their mutton roll is stuffed with filling - I love how thin the crust is, you really get a taste of the chunky juicy protein. The lamprais is infused with the aromantic banana leaf, along with the colorful and spiceful sides. They are so generous with their portions. It was my first time trying lamprais and I'm now addicted. I highly recommend getting this dish. One thing about Sri Lankan food is it tends to be on the spicer side (think Thai spicy). We were glad to see all items on the menu had a "mild" option. The lamprais is a safe option for those that can't eat spicy. The deviled king fish (mackerel) is a popular fish consumed in Sri Lanka. We got mild but it was still spicy. It was flavored so nicely so if you like spice and saucy dishes, this is the one for you! It was served with bell peppers and onions. We were so full we didn't get to try their desserts but they have many classic desserts options as well! We can't wait to be back to try their curry and other dishes. It's decorated with cultural trinkets and I truly felt transported a bit, it was simply beautiful and I had a strong feeling that whatever I was about to eat was going to be fire. I'm familiar with Indian cuisine and am a huge fan, but vegetarian?! I'm a strong carnivore but was excited to exit my norm and try something new. Why not right? AND BABY THEY DIDN'T DISAPPOINT! When feeling adventerous, and hungry, the best thing to do is have them bring out a few different standouts so you can really get a diverse range of offerings. And I'm so glad I did. Now, we're here for the food of course: Gobi Chilli -- Fried cauliflower in a sticky mild spicy chili sauce. Crispy on the outside, soft & tender on the inside, and absolutely addictive. I had to stop myself from licking the plate. Masala Fries -- Crispy, golden, and served with a tamarind sauce and a mint chutney that both deserve their own fan clubs. I need bottles of each in my house yesterday. Tandoori Mix Grill -- This one threw me. It's their version made with cottage cheese--and let me be clear, I don't even like cottage cheese. But somehow, this was smoky, juicy, and downright good. I was shocked and impressed. Shahi Paneer -- A curry where paneer is cooked in a creamy sauce made with onions, yogurt, nut and seeds. Rich, flavorful, and comforting. It gave "I've been simmering all day just waiting for you." Amritsari Kulcha -- Buttery, crispy, garlicky, and elite. Dipped in the chickpeas and yogurt? That bite was a moment. And the Vanilla Bubble Tea? I don't know what kind of magic was in there, but it tasted like a milkshake and might honestly be the best one I've ever had. See what happens when you venture out?! The staff was kind and the food came out hot and fast. Everything looked good, smelled good, and most importantly--tasted good. Queens got another winner on its hands. I'll be back. Probably soon.
