Service: 3.9/5 Food: 3.3/5 Large space! I guess that's what you get for being away from central flushing. They have a cafe of the same name at the front (which i think supplies all the drinks + desserts). Cafe only had a few customers + the restaurant was dead on a friday afternoon. Honestly, I was overwhelmed by the menu options so could only focus on the lunch specials, which covered your standard Chinese-American takeout fare and some unique dishes. Staff was nice, nothing special. They do indeed offer warm water, iykyk. What I Ordered: - Spinach + Corn Soup: corny, lighter in flavor than the chicken - Diced Chicken Corn Soup: saltier, richer in flavor than the spinach - Spring Roll: pretty standard, I waited to eat so it wasn't crispy anymore - General Tso's Chicken: actually has a little spice, crispy - Bean Curd with Cedar Sauce: peppery w celery taste, bean curd isn't crispy - Mango Pudding: more like a solid jelly, not very mango-y, lots of cream on top

Kosher vegetarian Chinese restaurant that serves great dim sum. My vegetarian friend discovered this restaurant thanks to social media. Large space with a garage next door. Cute coffee shop is the front that serves coffee, tea, desserts. Instead of carts of food going around, the food is made fresh to order. The staff was helpful but there were moments when the restaurant was empty and it still took time to get their attention. I really like that the menu has photos for each dish and ordering on the tablet is great. We loved the various dim sum dishes we ordered, except the "roast pig" because it was more bread than protein. There is a garage attached to the building but I don't know the cost or if they validate parking - we were able to find street parking. Other groups arrived after us and mostly ordered from the regular menu instead of dim sum - all their food looked amazing and were large family style portions. Would definitely come back

My cousin took me here. The parking lot was being repair so we park on the street. The restaurant is pretty big. Outside is like a dessert place and inside there tables for dinner. You order on a tablet and than it will come. The staff and service are pretty good. There were foods we order they were out so we had to order another things. The foods came pretty fast and was very delicious. Will definitely come back here again and try new foods.

The location is spacious and fresh. They have a parking lot that you can use. You order on a tablet. We ordered several things. The hot and sour soup was not hot or sour. Perhaps if it was hot it would have tasted better, it lacked much flavor. The Jasmin green tea comes in a bag in a French press. Quite different from traditional Chinese restaurants, but tasted decent. The edemame were very soft, but slightly sweet, and delicious. I didn't enjoy the dumplings at all. They lacked any flavor. We ordered the roast "pork." Again this restaurant only serves veggies. So, the roast pork was French bread for the skin and fat, and then there was Seiten or tofu crumbles for the meat. It kinda looked the part of you squinted.. it tasted good, and I will order it again, but it did not taste like pork at all. The mushroom and veggie stir fry was fresh, but lacking in flavor. The best dish was the lomein. It was delicious, probably the best lomein I've had in a very long time; flavorful, not oily, overall very good! Oh, the vegan blueberry peach pie, didn't have any peach flavor, was on the very sweet side, and tasted extremely buttery. I will be back to try other dishes.

Went here with co-workers for dinner. Ordered several dishes and ate family-style. Everything was so delicious, flavorful. All vegetarian dishes. Those who eat meat said the dishes tasted very close to their meat equivalent. For 11 of us including tea drinks and tip $510. Street parking is available. There's a parking lot in the building and the restaurant will validate your ticket but be warned- it's very narrow, tight turns, tight spots...looks unsafe. Definitely recommend the restaurant.

I was brought here by a vegan friend who loves eating here. It was pretty late - about 50 minutes before the restaurant closed but they happily seated us and served us with joy. You can tell they're proud of the food they serve. We ordered on their tablets, and they have quite a large menu. We knew we wanted the BBQ Roast Meat (vegan version of char siu) even before walking in. We also got the Pan-Fried Noodles with Vegetable and the Taro Bowl Delight. Food didn't take too long to come out (probably because we were the only ones dining in). The Pan-Fried Noodles are a childhood favorite of mine and I haven't had it since well before I became vegan a little over 10 years ago. It was delicious and I didn't miss the seafood that normally comes with it. Nice crispy noodles that soak up some of the yummy gravy. The Taro Bowl Delight was fun - we watched as our server cut it up into servable portions for us. The bowl was made of the deep-fried taro you find in Wu Gok (fried taro dumplings) and it was filled with veggies that also included some sauteed taro as well. Delicious. And the BBQ Roast Meat was very close to char siu. The Manhattan Chinatown Bodhi Kosher Restaurant (not sure if they're related?) has vegan char siu that is more fatty and crispy that I slightly enjoy more, but this was still enjoyable. We had a bunch of leftover food we took home since this was a lot of food for two people. I had these as leftovers for three days. Very filling. Will definitely come back and will want to try some of their desserts and dim sum items!

Appetizer boasted a nice assortment of items; the faux crispy pork was a nice facsimile and crunchy. The ersatz roast pork had hints of sweetness. The oysters were juicy and satisfying mushrooms.

One of the best vegetarian restaurants!! The food is so good and they have good quality vegetarian meat. My favorite is the lettuce song and the oolong tea is so rich and flavorful. The workers are really friendly and I love how you can order through an iPad so it's less of a hassle. The ambiance of the store is so calming and it's peaceful most of the time. There's also a cafe in the front which is also so cute. Kudos to this restaurant, absolutely delicious!

Highly recommended vegetarian restaurant. The food, service and the place did not disappointed us. We came in tonight for a birthday celebration in the middle of the week. The whole place belonged to us. We were serviced right away. An iPad is given for the menu and placing an order. The staff is very welcoming. A suggested peach tea on a carafe is worth getting. The food did not take long. The place is a favorite of my son and his girlfriend. For us, this place brought in a new adventure feeling. The dishes tasted good and beyond to our expectations. I could not imagine that what I had are nit real meat but has the true flavor of it. My favorite is the five happiness appetizers especially the charsu serving portion. They copied the real taste of it. My next favorite is the peking beef or duck. Delightful. I could see myself returning and trying the rest in the menu that may interest me. There is no need to make reservation, suggested walk in us recommended and just wait to be seated. The location is closer to College point blvd/ booth Memorial , away from the busy Main Street. Location is viewed as either good or bad. It has quiet neighborhood and easier to find a parking spot. It is also far from the heart of flushing area where being there brings joy to everyone.

Hi T.B. I've never seen gluten free options on their menu.

    Yes it is

Has both! Cafe in the front and restaurant in the back

It says opening at this new location 136-20 Booth Memorial Ave, Flushing, NY 11355? Has it officially opened?

Not yet, but within the upcoming one week or Monday 11/9, they are having their soft opening for takes out!

    Do they have vegan options?

Five flavor plate - a nice amuse-bouche that went through a series of flavors: Hawthorne jelly for sour, yams for sweet - butter melon jelly for bitter, mushroom.and black pepper for spicy, and radish cracker for salty. The bitter melon was my favorite and definitely wasn't that better - it had pleasant spices almost like a chutney. Next was mushrooms in a light cucumber sauce, followed by a savory and thick 18 vegetable soup. This was a nice back to back contrast of light and simple with rich and hearty. The next three courses were aiming to imitate meat a little more. The first was a grilled mushroom over fragrant green millet. Then, sweet and sour tofu skin, and another grilled mushroom covered in a curry sauce. Of these, the tofu skin was my favorite as the bright course in between the savory ones. Next was rice in a savory broth with peach jelly, and then a nutty noodle dish with a smooth and creamy sauce with a nice blend of spices. These helped round out the meal, and the noodles were especially tasty. To end was a dessert made from berries and sweet potato, almost with the texture of ice cream. Reservation is required and the meal is prepaid except for tip. The whole thing came to about $130 each after tax and tip. I found the meal to be less heavy than most other tasting menus and very creative.

At this restaurant, you can experience the culinary fusion of the two distinct tradition. We ordered: - mutton roll 5/5 - calamari lamprais 6/5 AMAZING!! - deviled king fish 5/5 Their mutton roll is stuffed with filling - I love how thin the crust is, you really get a taste of the chunky juicy protein. The lamprais is infused with the aromantic banana leaf, along with the colorful and spiceful sides. They are so generous with their portions. It was my first time trying lamprais and I'm now addicted. I highly recommend getting this dish. One thing about Sri Lankan food is it tends to be on the spicer side (think Thai spicy). We were glad to see all items on the menu had a "mild" option. The lamprais is a safe option for those that can't eat spicy. The deviled king fish (mackerel) is a popular fish consumed in Sri Lanka. We got mild but it was still spicy. It was flavored so nicely so if you like spice and saucy dishes, this is the one for you! It was served with bell peppers and onions. We wanted to chill at Bryant Park while each of us grabbed whatever we felt like eating, and La Botaniste--right across from the park--was the perfect grab-and-go option for me. The colorful Dutch ovens filled with fresh, vibrant dishes and amazing aromas made it so hard to choose. I'm still kicking myself for not taking pictures because everything looked so mouthwatering. I finally went with the Botanical Salad, and it was AMAZING. Fresh, flavorful, satisfying, and exactly what I was hoping for.
