They were some of the most flavorful vegan pancakes I've ever had. The vegan bacon was the best I've ever had, perfectly crisp. The Ginger Blast drink was the perfect spicy, refreshing addition. The whole place has such a peaceful, distinctive vibe. They play soothing, meditative music, like the kind you'd hear in a spa, and they have cute inspirational cards that make the experience feel even more special. The diner has been around since 1972, and that sense of character really comes through. It's owned and operated by students of spiritual teacher, poet, and philosopher Sri Chinmoy, which helps explain the calm, uplifting atmosphere. If you're anywhere near here, definitely go.

The Philly was delicious and the flavor was amazing. The breakfast sandwich was just okay. One thing I was surprised about was that nothing else came with our orders, unlike general diners. No greens, breakfast hash, fries, etc. So when ordering, keep that in mind. The strawberry banana smoothie was so good and the ginger shot was good value for the price. We were still a bit hungry so we grabbed a cookie from the front cashier and had it added to our bill. I would come back, pretty much because it's the only vegetarian/vegan diner that I know of.

There wasn't a person giving out the takeout orders, multiple people were waiting patiently there to have their orders given to them, but there was no one. The cashier just kept helping the people in the line ordering food, and totally ignored us. The food's fresh, and the portions are better now.

I substituted Spinach for Arugula and I demolished it in minutes lol. All the ingredients were fresh and the portion was perfect. My only issue was that the cabbage was raw. I prefer steamed or sautéed cabbage in my salads. I literally sat there and picked out all of the raw cabbage before demolishing. I'll remove it from my order next time, now that I know they serve it raw. Other than that, no complaints. I look forward to ordering from here again for lunch. Love it!!!
