Coming inside, I found the customers were very polite and peaceful and the employees treated me as a prestigious guest. I later found out that Panorama Silence Of My-Heart is owned and operated by meditation students of Sri-Chinmoy. I understood why I was treated as an honored guest because they strive to create a friendly, warm and peaceful atmosphere. When customers come in they can enjoy healthy, nutritious food and drink that are both delicious and nourishing for body and soul. I have to say, I felt every good vibe that is created here. I was definitely impressed as I wanted a breakfast that made my tastebuds come alive and this vegetarian and vegan café did indeed what it set out to do. My first visit was on 08/13. I made my way to the counter and made my order. I was instructed to take a number that was on a stand and place it on the table wherever I chose to sit. I ordered the Mediterranean Omelet (gluten free) its ingredients are-3 eggs, sun-dried tomatoes, olives, onions, goat cheese served with a side salad (sliced cucumbers, spinach, shredded red cabbage, shredded carrots, diced tomatoes, salad dressing, and one slice of 7-grain toast for $1 extra. I just need to be totally honest, silence gave consent of satisfaction and I smiled every time I placed the food in my mouth! I had so much joy eating this breakfast and to chase it down, I had the Immune Blast. It consisted of orange, pineapple, fresh turmeric, lemon, and ginger. My second visit was on 8/24. I ordered the Tuscan Ciabatta Sandwich- scrambled egg, cheese, homemade presto, tomato & spinach on a toasted sourdough ciabatta along with the Immune Blast drink and a French Vanilla coffee. Another wonderful meal, another pleasant experience and another chance to... Inspire more, Yelp more!

I was so wonderfully surprised to find this vegetarian and vegan diner. The name alone, Smile of…read morethe Beyond, is so unique and quirky, and I loved it. They always have vegan pancakes on the menu, but when I went, the special was vegan peach and mango pancakes piled high with vegan whipped cream and a little cinnamon. They were some of the most flavorful vegan pancakes I've ever had. The vegan bacon was the best I've ever had, perfectly crisp. The Ginger Blast drink was the perfect spicy, refreshing addition. The whole place has such a peaceful, distinctive vibe. They play soothing, meditative music, like the kind you'd hear in a spa, and they have cute inspirational cards that make the experience feel even more special. The diner has been around since 1972, and that sense of character really comes through. It's owned and operated by students of spiritual teacher, poet, and philosopher Sri Chinmoy, which helps explain the calm, uplifting atmosphere. If you're anywhere near here, definitely go.

We went on a Saturday morning, which was busy but it was only a 10 minute wait for a roomy booth. We ordered a vegan egg, cheese and sausage sandwich and a vegan Philly cheesesteak. The Philly was delicious and the flavor was amazing. The breakfast sandwich was just okay. One thing I was surprised about was that nothing else came with our orders, unlike general diners. No greens, breakfast hash, fries, etc. So when ordering, keep that in mind. The strawberry banana smoothie was so good and the ginger shot was good value for the price. We were still a bit hungry so we grabbed a cookie from the front cashier and had it added to our bill. I would come back, pretty much because it's the only vegetarian/vegan diner that I know of.

This review is ONLY about the food and my experience eating here. I stumbled across this spot and stopped in because I was curious about the food since it was vegeterian and I was on a no-meat cleanse. It's a bit inconspicuous so you may not even realize it's a restaurant from the outside. That being said, it seems to be a very popular vegetarian spot in the area and has a good variety of vegetarian Indian dishes as well as Western vegetarian dishes. The spot is midsized, with a good amount of seating. The staff were very friendly and helpful with questions about the dishes. I ordered a few items - vegetables pakora, bhajia, and the Annam Brahma dinner. I also tried their chai. Overall, the food wasn't too bad and was a good portion for the price. I loved the chai and also ordered a mango lassi, which was also very tasty. The pakora and bhajia were delicious and paired well with the sauce. The Annam Brahma dinner was filling although I wish it has a bit more seasoning. Overall, this is a good spot for vegetarian food if you're in the neighborhood and looking for a good vegetarian spot.

The floral displays are fun and are probably the highlight of the visit. They seem to go the extra mile when it comes to creating a celebratory atmosphere. Service was excellent from start to finish. The staff at reception and at the table were attentive, friendly, and welcoming. Food-wise, we tried the Kung Pao calamari and wagyu meatballs after seeing other reviewers rave about them, but both felt a little gimmicky to me. Our group mostly stuck with more traditional brunch items, including breakfast burritos and omelettes, and those were fine. Overall, I would not necessarily come here just for the food, but I would recommend it for the atmosphere, service, and special-occasion vibe. It is a great spot if you want a pretty setting, good hospitality, and plenty of photo-friendly areas.

To start off we got the Aloo Gobi Samosa which was good. As for the main dish I got the Chicken Saag Tikka which was very good but had very little chicken inside of it which was really disappointing. It seems like I was just eating a dish filled with sauce and few pieces of chicken inside it. We got one order of garlic and rosemary naan which was already cut up in quarter pieces. The naan came in very useful especially with all that extra sauce I had left from my chicken saag tikka dish. To finish off the night I got the Malai Kulfi ice cream for desert which was super frozen took some struggle to break off the pieces without making a mess. Overall this place is a nice quiet spot for dinner not to mention the TV above the door had plenty of Indian music videos on the whole time we were there. Honestly, even if it isn't your normal go-to, I promise you should venture outside of your comfort zone and give it a try. As soon as I stepped in I was transported to a golden palace. The place is adorned with gold and bling, the chandelier caught my eye immediately! It's decorated with cultural trinkets and I truly felt transported a bit, it was simply beautiful and I had a strong feeling that whatever I was about to eat was going to be fire. I'm familiar with Indian cuisine and am a huge fan, but vegetarian?! I'm a strong carnivore but was excited to exit my norm and try something new. Why not right? AND BABY THEY DIDN'T DISAPPOINT! When feeling adventerous, and hungry, the best thing to do is have them bring out a few different standouts so you can really get a diverse range of offerings. And I'm so glad I did. Now, we're here for the food of course: Gobi Chilli -- Fried cauliflower in a sticky mild spicy chili sauce. Crispy on the outside, soft & tender on the inside, and absolutely addictive. I had to stop myself from licking the plate. Masala Fries -- Crispy, golden, and served with a tamarind sauce and a mint chutney that both deserve their own fan clubs. I need bottles of each in my house yesterday. Tandoori Mix Grill -- This one threw me. It's their version made with cottage cheese--and let me be clear, I don't even like cottage cheese. But somehow, this was smoky, juicy, and downright good. I was shocked and impressed. Shahi Paneer -- A curry where paneer is cooked in a creamy sauce made with onions, yogurt, nut and seeds. Rich, flavorful, and comforting. It gave "I've been simmering all day just waiting for you." Amritsari Kulcha -- Buttery, crispy, garlicky, and elite. Dipped in the chickpeas and yogurt? That bite was a moment. And the Vanilla Bubble Tea? I don't know what kind of magic was in there, but it tasted like a milkshake and might honestly be the best one I've ever had. See what happens when you venture out?! The staff was kind and the food came out hot and fast. Everything looked good, smelled good, and most importantly--tasted good. Queens got another winner on its hands. I'll be back. Probably soon.
