Popped in her Saturday for dinner after a matinee in Manhattan. I started with the Chicken Manchow Soup. Hot and spicy with a fair amount of chicken. It cleared my sinuses. For the mains, my better half had the Lamb Curry and I had the Chicken Tikka Masala. We both asked for the medium spice level. With the mains we ordered two garlic naans. I found my Chicken Tikka Masala, along with the garlic naan, delicious. The other half thought the Lamb Curry was too spicy (I had the leftovers at home the next day. It wasn't as hot as she said. I thought it was fine). Both mains had a good amount of meat for the price. They gave us a complimentary dessert of Rasmali, because they were disappointed my other half found the Lamb Curry too spicy for her taste. Very tasty. My only quibble is that they charge $9.99 for an 11-ounce bottle of Taj Mahal beer. We will most definitely return. read more

Excellent food. Seriously no better Indian in all of Queens. And possibly beyond. All the meat dishes we ordered were tender, well marinated, and came in a sauce to die for. We licked every plate clean. The garlic naan and onion naan were second to none (no pun intended). Service was attentive and friendly, but not intrusive. Dining room was spacious, orderly and clean. Prices were very reasonable, especially for Indian. And they had Indo-Chinese dishes available, which I've never seen in an Indian restaurant. We're certainly going to come back just to see what they've done with Chinese food. Location is a side street in Kew Gardens, an intimate, quaint, village like neighborhood. Great to walk around in and check out all the other shops and buildings. The houses further down the block were gorgeous. read more

Food is okay. There are other Indian restaurants that continue to be my go to. Service was attentive and quick. Decor is okay-- enough to take a familiar date but maybe not the first one. Everything was just okay. Vegetable biryani lacked flavor. Chicken tikka masala was too tomatoey. Samosa chaat tasted fresh at least but would've preferred more samosa and toppings in that dish. Pakoras were well fried. Was good to try once. Not sure if I'd come again. read more

I feel this place used to be called Eternity, which we've eaten at before and found to be the best in the area. Not sure what happened. I have to say, I recently ordered takeout and it just did not have the depth of flavor I've had in the past. Not to mention, a main dish with 1 piece of naan cost $30? Seems a bit pricey for takeout. We came here after the movie. I hadn't had Indian food in ages. We had mango chicken, an eggplant dish but I don't remember the name and a roti bread. Mild spice. Everything was so delicious and what I remember of Indian food. I highly recommend this place. read more

Excellent service and delicious food. The Lamb saag and aloo gobi was delicious with a good kick, but can be altered to taste. The flavors of both were amazing and as a point of reference i am a resident of jackson heights.when you know you know. I also loved that they have tableside card/payment service. The space is large and modern with a simple yet classic decor. I would definitely recommend coming by LIRR or car..even subway..it is about a 10 min walk from kew garden station. We were just exploring a new neighborhood and came upon Nabhya. It was lunch time so we went for it despite the fact I'm pretty picky when it comes to Indian food. Queens has some incredible Indian places but you never know. It was excellent. We had a simple meal; Chana Masala, Lamb Saag, raita and some rice. Everything was very well spiced with the appropriate amount of heat for us. The lamb dish was really above what you generally get, it was really happening. The place is brand new so I hope you check it out. I hope the restaurant stays high quality, I'd love a great place within walking distance. read more

This a hidden gem of Kew Gardens, especially for Indo-chinese food items. The indian items are great too but the indo-chinese stands out to me. The service is fast and ambience is okay considering the location. One grip is they have way overpriced their beers, regular bottles (not draft) for $9.99 is pushing it $3 too far. Considering location and ambience I think $6.99 a bottle is bearable. If the beer was priced right then a full 5-star would be warranted! read more

Stopped in for dinner this past weekend after reading reviews. What a great idea that was!!! Met one of the two sisters (Pragati) who opened the restaurant. Pragati was SO pleasant. We had Butter Chicken, Lamb Vindaloo, Garlic Naan and some Vegetable Spring Rolls. Excellent (!!!!!) from start to finish. Best Indian food we have had in NYC including Manhattan and Jackson Heights. Also better than Indian food we've enjoyed in places like London, Paris and Amsterdam. That good! PLEASE patronize this restaurant so they can truly succeed!!!! They deserve it. Even had a 1947 Craft beer brewed right in Queens! Of course, you can still get Taj Mahal and Kingfisher beers. read more

The staff was very attentive and the owner Krutika was a great host and ensured that we had a great experience. Ate there last night. Very good food and service. Looks like a family operation-love that. Coconut shrimp app was delish. Salmon was tender and flavorful.
