Quality bakery in the form of a boulangerie as opposed to a blue frosting bakery. Pastries are a delight, inventive and sublimely tasty. Location is in a depressing & sad strip mall next to a tanning salon. I am sad for them ... but they do draw a larger pool of folks ... as even in the poor weather ... people were flocking in. The service was .. to the point ... with an air of snootiness that could not be merely ignored because ... though I was giving profuse compliments about the display ... the owner was perceiving me as a hick who didn't know what a Kouign-amann was. Lol They have something else quite good & unique for the area ... Bouchons au Chocolate. By far the best upscale brownie you will ever eat. I'd go there just for those & I'm not a huge chocolate fan ... but these were outstanding. The hazelnut bun had a tasty center but the bun part was sadly uninspired ... tasting like everyone else's cinnamon roll pastry dough.

Another trip through the area means another stop at the best bread bakery around. I was too late to catch a warm pizza but I still love them cold. Their little crusty pizzas with crunchy burnt cheesey edges are my favorite pizzas. I was also lucky they still had a Kalamata Olive Rustica bread left. This place has limited hours so always check before making a detour. But, if they're open, always stop in.

What a wonderful thing to look forward to all week during this time of quarantine. They are set up very safely for customers. Got there too early for baguette and plain croissants but found other fresh bread and fruit pastry. If you want a better selection, come at 10AM. They close at 5 now on Thursday-Friday. And at 4 on Saturday.

So much smeerrr!!…read more Stopped by for some bagels and they had a variety of fresh bagels to choose from except and everything bagel. You can order you bagel roasted with any of their specialty cream cheeses. I got their Lox cream cheese with a marble rye bagel. The bagels are a good size and they were not stingy with the cream cheese! It was loaded! The cream cheese was very creamy and smooth! There is not much seating so we ordered our bagels to go. The workers were very nice and worked very fast. The shop also offered coffee and cold drinks to go and they also had some goodies to buy such as coffee beans,/T-shirts. This place is super cute and cozy and perfect for a quick yummy lunch.

That's a huge plus and easy to miss if you're just skimming reviews. Now onto mine. Counter service with self serve coffee and tea. Good selection of bagels (they have rosemary, which not everyone has) and spreads (they have whitefish salad, which not everyone has), plus breakfast sandwiches and more ambitious lunch sandwiches. I found the service excellent, the pricing more than fair, and the bagels pretty good. Even though they're not cracking my greater Boston top 5 or my New England top 10, the bagels have a nice texture to them: chewy, but a lighter brand of chewy, kinda like a biscuit. That texture grows on you as you try more of them. The pumpernickel bagel was a little light on flavor but the onion bagel made up for it. The rosemary salt bagel was much heavier on the salt than the rosemary, but still good. I'd go back.
