    Tuna bowl
    Barbara B.

We were warmly welcomed by the owner and brought to our seats in the back as requested. The highlight of the dinner was the ahi tuna salad . The tuna was done perfectly and came with roasted Brussel sprouts. It was delicious. My beet salad was good , but had far too much arugula which overpowered the beets, goat cheese and candied walnuts. If we lived closer I definitely would return to try the lobster scampi. I found out after we should have requested bread. A restaurant of this caliber should just provide bread as part of the meal. It was a pleasant evening but next time I will ask for an outdoor table.

    Prime rib

The prime rib was amazing, flavorful and cooked to what I wanted it exactly to be. The steak came with mash and asparagus but I didn't take a photo of it, just know it was a lot of mash not to mention it was good too Also not even a risotto guy, but the family loved it, hell I loved it We also ordered blue cheese chili y sprouts (blue cheese dip on the size) and I gotta say some of the best Brussels sprouts I've ever had Didn't take a photo sorry Anyways you can also see the sweet potato fries on the table , massive things, extremely tasty and unique, the best I've ever had. Food taste 11/10 Food quantity 10/10 Onto service, it was packed but they constantly had someone come up and assure us the food was coming, I'm not even sure if it even took that long because a waiter always attended to us constantly, as I said the place was packed Service 11/10 Ambiance, it was clean and comfortable, nothing to complain about 10/10 Now the prices are up there, but these are massive servings and absolutely amazing tasting dishes I have a big family, so we ordered a lot, but the prices are reasonable and absolutely justified Prices 9/10

    Kids chicken tenders and fries

We got reservations for 5pm right when they opened for dinner and were very thankful because all other times were booked. Once seated the service was amazing! Since the kiddos were hangry, we got them chicken tenders and fries, crab cakes for the adults and mussels. Let's talk about the food.. the simple but delicious chicken and fries for the kids were soo good and fresh. The chicken was some of the best tenders I've tried and it was moist and good. I was very surprised on how good this dish for the kids was. The crab cakes I can't really talk too much about since I didn't try it but the mussels were amazing with the bread dipped into the sauce.. it was heaven. Now let's talk about my dinner which was the seafood risotto.. this dish was superb! The half lobster and all the diver scallops were amazing. Everything went so well with the Parmesan risotto. I highly recommend this dish if you're a seafood lover. If you're ever around Newburyport, be sure to give this wonderful restaurant a try. You won't be disappointed!

    Lettuce wraps

Second time here. First was a weekday lunch where 2 of us split the lettuce wraps and beet salad. We liked it so much we brought our husbands back to have brunch. Live jazz music - loved the bari sax sounds. Not too loud and a bit festive. This time I got the burger which I ate half of. So good. Caramalized onions and bacon. Was so good, very filling, cooked perfectly. Upgraded to sweet potato fries, which had a nice taste. They did not taste fried, they taste oven baked. I'm hoping they were oven baked because then I would say they were excellent. We all shared the lettuce wraps, and one even got the lettuce wraps as their entree. Another got quiche and said it was perfect and the 4th had chicken wrap with fries. Wait staff was perfect. Had same waitress, Robin. She was great. Just perfect and she remembered us though it had been a few weeks. She didn't stay too long and answered all our questions. Must get the lettuce wraps. SO good.

    Bolognese!

Continued to get Better and. Better- just solid food at a fair price! Food quality is excellent and the flavors are spot on,

    Scampi and Salmon.

Outdoor seating was ideal especially enjoying the summer air with my dog. The views are overlooking the marsh and wide open skies. After ordering, received a buzzer to alert when my order was ready. I ordered the seafood platter which was about $45 and a cup of chowder at $6.50. There are fountain options as well as alcoholic canned beverages. The seafood platter was piled high with perfectly fried haddock, clams, scallops, and shrimp. All the seafood was sweet, juicy, and tender. I substituted fries for onion rings for $3 extra. My chowder was also full of clam pieces and potatoes. The consistency was perfect too. I definitely recommend trying or coming here if you have a fried seafood platter hankering after a day in Newburyport or Portsmouth!

On a recent visit, we stopped by hoping to relive that experience. While the lobster roll didn't quite live up to the standard we remembered, the crew was friendly and accommodating, and the brioche roll was absolutely divine. Afterward, we learned the restaurant is now under new ownership, which may explain the difference. I hope the new team can recapture the quality and charm that made this place so memorable in the first place. P.S.: Just a suggestion: tartar sauce shouldn't be stored on the counter at room temperature like ketchup. It needs to be refrigerated to avoid any food poisoning.

They ended up filling up a little bit after we arrived. It was cute how the menu lists out all team members including servers. That's a sweet touch and I guess easy to do when they're changing menus every few weeks. We liked how fresh and clean everything tasted. Seafood portions were big too. We ordered: small power tower, dozen oysters (3 of each on their menu), 2 composed oysters, octopus skewer, mussels, lobster salad, crab bisque, lobster pasta, and baked Alaska We started off with the small power tower. We couldn't choose the oysters or ceviche but it came out being 3 Dixon Point, 3 Norumbega, and tuna crudo. The ceviche portion seemed a bit small even after knowing that it's half a portion of a regular order. My family enjoyed the oysters so much that we ended up ordering a dozen more, 3 of each available at the time. It was fun to try out the different flavor profiles across the various oysters. We also inquired about the composed oysters which changes even more regularly than their menu. Each time it's some sort of tart flavor and a fruity flavor. When we went, they added grape and some sort of vinegar to it. We didn't expect that combination and it turned out quite refreshing. Octopus skewer might be the least favorite of the table. The texture was a bit soft, more mushy than tender chewy. Mussels were also something my family liked. I only ate a few pieces because I had a muddy one in the beginning. Lobster salad was a crowd favorite given the large pieces of lobster and avocado. Using bibb lettuce made it less wet and watery which adds to the creaminess. Lobster pasta felt duplicative when we already got lobster salad but I still really wanted to order it for some creamy savoriness and carbs. It hit the spot for sure. Unfortunately there were a few pieces of lobster that weren't as fresh and couldn't eat. We told them about it and didn't request for anything but they ended up comping the dish. We last minute added the crab bisque after enjoying all the other items so much. I didn't like the smokey flavor so didn't have too much. At the end we were so satisfied that we wanted to try out the desserts too. We were debating between the baked Alaska and the tofu cheesecake. We ended up getting the baked Alaska because it seems more unique. It's not the type where you get a whole ice cream mountain covered in meringue that they'll bake, torch, or pour alcohol lit on fire. I think it's more like a deconstructed baked Alaska - disappointing but still looked nice and tasted good. The meringue was whipped very nicely, thick fluffy texture. The torch on it was just right too, providing sufficient char in appearance and flavor. The black sesame praline on top was surprising as an element and its nice toasty smokey addition to the dish. The splash of yuzu (or passionfruit?) sauce at the bottom was sufficient for the cake pieces and not sweet meringue (I know it probably still has a lot).

I had "The Bucciarelli" on a baguette while my wife had "The Caprese" also on the baguette. We got there before going to the beach. Three hours after we purchased them both sandwiches were still crusty on the outside and soft on the inside. The meats in my sandwich were premium quality, piled high, and individually delicious. We only ate half the sandwiches that day and the other half the next day. This place has established a new benchmark for what a good sub should be for me. As far as the cost. They were expensive. Upon entry, I noticed the location was very well organized and clean. The wrap-around cases of meat, take and go, all kinds of grill items (chicken, steak, tips, burgers, sausage) and then the butcher, ready to cut whatever you need. Boars Head meats are available, which are my favorite. A wall of drinks from craft beer, soda and water to name just a few were cold and ready for purchase. I ordered my favorite....a roast beef panini with yellow mustard, pickles and caramelized onions on a ciabatta roll. My brother ordered his favorite, a turkey sub with mustard and lettuce. Again, both sandwiches had Boars Head meat. The staff was ready to take orders. There was plenty of employees willing to help and answer any questions that we had. As I said earlier, it was busy but the customers were managed very well. I have to share a story. My former favorite spot for my roast beef panini was the Corner Store, Chatham. However, after COVID, they decided to discontinue there panini's, which was an absolute heartbreaker! I have never had a bad sandwich there! I have spent a long time trying to find a comparable sandwich and I finally have! My panini here at Bucciarelli's matches the Corner Store! It was awesome....warm, fresh bread....delicious roast beef and the perfect amount of mustard, pickle and caramelized onions! I plan to make my way back for sure! My brother enjoyed his turker sandwich, as well. He is a new fan, too! Finally, I found some incredible Irish Potato chips, which I have never seen before. They are not Utz, Lays or Wachusetts.....check out my picture! BBQ chips were really good! Keoghs We took some pictures which give a good view of the location. Parking was easy. I was able to pull in front of the store and there was approximately 6-8 spots available. 5-stars!
