One time, I even watched her remove the breast cup lining through the bottom seam of the dress and sewed it all back up in 5-minutes flat, right before my eyes. Recently I started a new job that required me to purchase more dress pants. My former alterations person is located in Aiea. Given I live in the Ala Moana area making the drive out to Aiea is no longer convenient for me. I looked on Yelp and found Anna's Alterations nearby. I had 5 pairs of designer dress pants that needed to be altered so I walked over to Anna's Alterations located inside of the building on S.King and Kaheka. At first it was little confusing to find but if you enter the opening along Kaheka it's on the left hand side. The shop is split between Anna's and a health supplement shop. Anna on the left, supplement shop on the right. When I walked in I saw Anna sitting at her sewing machine working. She immediately stopped and welcomed me with a smile. I told her what I needed done and she instructed me to use the back room to try on the pants. After putting on a pair she came into the room, measured my seam, and asked me if I wanted it shorter. Her suggested hem was perfect so I went with that. I then told her all the pants were the same size waist and length. She didn't need me to try on the other 4. For 5 pairs of pants it only came out to $75!! ANNA IS CASH ONLY. I quickly ran to an ATM and grabbed cash. She gave me my receipt and told me to come back Wednesday (6 days later). I came back to get my pants and the alterations were amazing! It looked like the original stitching. Perfectly lined up and fit for King! For the price, turn around time, and quality you cannot get any better than Anna's Alterations. I will definitely bring all my future alterations to Anna. Anna is the greatest. I took a suit trousers in to be taken out and was told it would be ready in a week. I went back after a week and it fit perfectly and looked great. I'm so glad I finally found a seamstress that truly knows her craft and does high quality alterations. I am a stickler for good work. I try on the garment to be altered and she pins away ensuring it's the right length I want considering the footwear I will be wearing it with. She gets the job done with efficiency. She is pleasant, soft-spoken, and courteous. She's hemmed a couple of jeans for me where I wanted to keep the original hem and did so perfectly. I also had her alter my husband's dress pants and it was neatly done. I brought in hip designer blouse that I did not want to part with that was VERY tight around the capped sleeves and she managed to alter it so that it was wearable and comfortable without compromising the unique style of the blouse. Prices are reasonable for the service provided. I strongly recommend her for your alteration needs.
