Orders were frequently delayed, sometimes for more than a week, and I had to call daily without getting real answers. While a couple of staff members seemed to care, most were indifferent and unhelpful. For context, I was filling more than $8,600 worth of prescriptions monthly -- yet my needs were consistently overlooked. I finally moved all of my prescriptions to CVS at March Ln and Quail Lakes Dr (see my review for them) and couldn't be happier. CVS has every medication ready on time, even the "special orders" Walgreens struggled with, and they usually arrive the next day. Plus, their app actually works and makes managing prescriptions so much easier. Walgreens lost a loyal customer for life.

I booked a deep tissue massage. I expected a relaxing and meditative experience, and let my masseuse know that I struggle with shoulder pain from playing tennis for years. He proceeded to walk me through a sort of physical therapy session? Like, imagine doing the physical therapy exercises/reps for tennis elbow. I'm not sure if this is a normal thing to do during a deep tissue massage but it wasn't exactly relaxing. I also don't think it was very effective since those sessions are typically done multiple times. He barely worked on the rest of my body and only focused on my right shoulder. After he was done, he didn't give me any time to relax by myself before telling me to get dressed and that my hour was up. After my massage session, I decided to use the hot tub and relax in the lobby, which was fine. There were minimal complimentary refreshments compared to some other spas i've been to. I wanted to get ready for the rest of my birthday (dinner with friends) at the spa so I decided to wash my hair. I brought my own hair dryer and my makeup products. In the middle of my shower, the power completely went out. There was no announcement from the attendants about what was going on. They just continued on as usual. I rinsed my hair out (in the dark!) but it was still wet and needed to be dried immediately. After asking an attendant, they said the power goes off regularly and that they had no clue when it would be back on. If I had known this, I would never have tried to get ready at the spa! I might not have even booked there. I had to leave the spa early and go home because my hair was very time sensitive. I did not get comped. I didn't even get an apology. I walked out of the spa into the cold day with fully wet hair on my birthday. Definitely not worth the price point it's at and should come with a warning tag about the power outages.

Then the male employee made a snarky comment that "Too bad I didn't make a huge sign for people to see. Yes it was very ignorant of me to think that if they were open for business that I would be allowed to buy something. Both employees were very rude. Without saying a single word I then sat the basket back down and left. That is when the two employees behind the counter began laughing loudly and calling me stupid. Here's the thing, I rarely shop at Walgreens since it's so rachet. I mean the parking spot permanently reserved for the police is a dead giveaway that the store is shitty. Now my rarely shopping at Walgreens is now a never shops at Walgreens. There are many other stores to choose from. As far a sunscreen goes a co-worker said they would share theirs with me. So not only having a dirty nasty rachet store the employees are the last thing to finally run me off for good.

He was alone for the night shift and was getting ready to go home soon. He was taking care of the drive through, filling prescriptions, and managing the walk up counter and he did it with efficiency, knowledge, and kindness. The whole experience made me feel like I traveled back in time to a time when people knew each other and cared about each other. I was just traveling through but I felt as taken care of as the regular costumers. I was sad to hear he will be retiring in December, even though my hometown pharmacy is in SoCal. The community will be losing an excellent pharmacist.

I know this pharmacy is a total trash fire (parking is impossible and the line is usually 20 people…read moreany given time), but one of their pharmacists tore the place apart trying to find a misplaced prescription for me that had been recirculated and mislabeled, and she then went way out of her way to find what they had available to get to me same day, and that's totally unheard of these days. (She deserves five stars, I'd one star the building since the last time I was here security laughed when someone having a crisis went through the line screaming at and basically spitting on other customers). They do not pay their staff enough, seem wildly understaffed, and don't really do much to manage any of the issues, but their staff is doing what they can and definitely deserve better support than they have.
