Orders were frequently delayed, sometimes for more than a week, and I had to call daily without getting real answers. While a couple of staff members seemed to care, most were indifferent and unhelpful. For context, I was filling more than $8,600 worth of prescriptions monthly -- yet my needs were consistently overlooked. I finally moved all of my prescriptions to CVS at March Ln and Quail Lakes Dr (see my review for them) and couldn't be happier. CVS has every medication ready on time, even the "special orders" Walgreens struggled with, and they usually arrive the next day. Plus, their app actually works and makes managing prescriptions so much easier. Walgreens lost a loyal customer for life.

Unfortunately the matcha was out of stock, but I opted for another green tea and the crab cake. It was raining the day I was there so I didn't end up using the pool. I've spent the whole day traveling and all I wanted to do was remove my makeup, wash my face, and get ready for bed. Fortunately, this Walgreens was right across the street from my hotel. I made my way to the beauty and skin-care section and found a whole bunch of full size makeup remover products... wipes and solutions. Not wanting to risk the same thing happening again, I decided to forego another bottle of solution. But I didn't want a large container of wipes, because I already have plenty of makeup remover at home. I asked the sales associate where the travel sized items were. He pointed me in the right direction, adding that he didn't think they sold travel-sized makeup remover wipes. Ha! You, sir, have never removed makeup before so you don't know what I know. And what I know is that they DEFINITELY sell makeup remover wipes in travel-size packages. Armed with all the knowledge I needed, I confidently strolled over to the aisle and *surprise!*, I found exactly what I wanted; A travel-size pouch of makeup remover wipes. No risk of spillage, and they'll all be gone by the time I head out for my return flight. Perfect. Walked up the the counter for some lady with her back turned yelling across the room to the security to lock the door. For like 15 seconds turnt around and with a urgently raised tone said "hey, hey, hey, you can't do that we're already closed, there's no more shopping allowed, there's no more shopping allowed" reiterating her point with me being right in front of her I began to explain I was at the ATM before the doors were closed and I came to the line to add money which is the only reason I came to Walgreens was to reload my card. She then proceeded to say " it doesn't matter if you weren't in line at the time that we the doors then I can't let you in the line because it's not fair to everyone else" I literally looked at her and said I was already in the line while you had your back was facing the customer and were yelling at the security guard. I understand I was the last one in line but obviously there may be some delusional thinking or blindness because the doors closed and I was last in line so yeah I couldn't reload my card and had to leave. Terrible customer service! I don't remember if it was management may as well be as she was supposedly calling the shots for presumptive closure of the store with customer still inside not allowing them to check out. Shouldn't matter if I had to reload money on a card or purchase something if I was clearly in the store before they closed the doors, then I feel that they intentionally didn't want to have to recount their drawer or change their nightly deposit routine (yeah I've worked in retail before too) ...rude...and ignorant people

I noticed one door blocked off and a large sign that warned "MOST of the isles are closed off for cleaning." MOST not ALL. Grabbing a small hand basket I could see the sunscreen right in front of me. About to grab it the woman employee said firmly that ALL of the isles are closed. Okay. They why are the doors open for customers. Then the male employee made a snarky comment that "Too bad I didn't make a huge sign for people to see. Yes it was very ignorant of me to think that if they were open for business that I would be allowed to buy something. Both employees were very rude. Without saying a single word I then sat the basket back down and left. That is when the two employees behind the counter began laughing loudly and calling me stupid. Here's the thing, I rarely shop at Walgreens since it's so rachet. I mean the parking spot permanently reserved for the police is a dead giveaway that the store is shitty. Now my rarely shopping at Walgreens is now a never shops at Walgreens. There are many other stores to choose from. As far a sunscreen goes a co-worker said they would share theirs with me. So not only having a dirty nasty rachet store the employees are the last thing to finally run me off for good.

He was alone for the night shift and was getting ready to go home soon. He was taking care of the drive through, filling prescriptions, and managing the walk up counter and he did it with efficiency, knowledge, and kindness. The whole experience made me feel like I traveled back in time to a time when people knew each other and cared about each other. I was just traveling through but I felt as taken care of as the regular costumers. I was sad to hear he will be retiring in December, even though my hometown pharmacy is in SoCal. The community will be losing an excellent pharmacist.
