    Overcooked calamari rings!!!

I ordered online today and I ordered the calamari rings and a cheese pizza as well as a pepperoni pizza. I was very disappointed with the order I received. The calamari rings were overcooked and the pizza (both of the were shoved in the box with no care at all. I am truly disappointed.

Once again another great Salad at Anna's Pizza. Thanks Brenda, good job!

We love to stop here at Anna's when we're in Kilmarnock. Today was no exception. As always, the staff was very pleasant and very accommodating. Though we were only looking for a quick snack this time we found just what we needed. An antipasta salad for two and a Stromboli to split. All good. Our server, Brenda, was superb !

Reviewing pizza, one of the basic food groups for college age folks is no small task. While my college days are long, long since gone I think I still know what good pizza is. Anna's had the flavor (Anna's Special), but I felt the crust was soggy in the middle, while crisp and perfect toward the edges. The presentation was nice; the green peppers were either added at the end of the cook or right after coming from the oven. The tiramisu was tasteful, but I prefer one with mascarpone rather than an ice cream. Cheesecake was quite good. Beer at $4.50 bottle isn't cheap, but I suppose that's par for the course these days. Certainly I will return to sample other menu items. I think this should be listed as $$$ rather than $$ Just dropped another star because the so-called "Philly Steak" pizza turns out just to be hamburger meat. Jeez, are you kidding?? Just dropped another star when the wait staff basically didn't want us to sit down for dinner at 8:32p when they close at 9:00p. Add to that the salads were soaking wet with water and the anchovies are $1.99 extra on a Caesar salad. I thought anchovies are standard!!! Too bad

Pizza is alright, I have had better. Would definitely try something else from the menu. Waitress was friendly and nice atmosphere !!

Deliciousness - 2.5/5 Happiness - 4/5…read more I went here for a group dinner. It's a cute place with a very friendly staff. But ultimately, I was a bit disappointed. We started with flatbreads. I don't know if the cheese mixes were off but one was too tart and the other had far too much goat cheese (enough that it blunted the taste of the mushrooms). Although I don't eat shrimp, I did put some of the accompanying pow pow sauce on my flatbread and that was excellent - a nice, flavorful and bold spice. I wish I'd kept more of it for my main meal. We started with a standard salad, which was promising. The ranch dressing was extremely flavorful, and the croutons withstood the dressing and were delightfully crunchy. For dinner, I got a chicken marsala type dish. Although it came drenched in sauce (which, sadly, melted the mashed potatoes before I could eat them), there was very little flavor. The skin on the chicken was also a bit gummy and unpleasant. And it also came with some broccoli that was both lightly cooked (closer to raw than not) and lightly seasoned. Others in our group had salmon, or steak, but not a plate was finished. At the end the we got ginormous (seriously) slices of carrot cake. That was the highlight for sure, with thick frosting, a good caramel drizzle, and super-moist cake. They said it comes from an old recipe, and it delivered. The servers were very nice and welcoming. But they disappeared for most of the meal. Although we had several bottles of wine, they never came around to re-fill (nor were the waters topped off).

Modern but still captured the old coastal feel. It was super musty and smelled like it. There was a dehumidifier but it was so small, in two nights we actually had to dump the water bucket 4 times. And if we left all day, we came back to a damp room. I'm not sure what causes that - we live in a super humid area and don't have the same issue, but maybe a larger humidifier would help. The breakfasts were fantastic - you can order anything off their restaurant menu. I didn't have anything bad, everything was super fresh and came in huge portions. I do wish they had an espresso machine but the coffee was okay. Check out was also a breeze. This isn't a luxury location, my main complaint was the price for it feels steep, but it's one of the only spots in the area which is probably why they can charge so much. Overall, a great stay and I would definitely come back here if I was in the area again.

It quickly became apparent there were only a few employees, a bartender, a waitress, and the cook/owner. That said, service was great, it was obvious they were working as best they could to assure everyone was getting what they needed, and that orders were acceptable. Our food came out fast (we ordered fish and chips) and the servings were huge! Bartender even gave me a sample of their delicious red back sauce, which has a decent amount of heat for a restaurant sauce..... We need to make a point to add this place to our regular rotation of restaurants, they really work hard to deliver great food and great service, even though they are quite short staffed! Thé menu wasn't huge, but they had a section of ' summer grilled' options...pork, chicken, brisket,.....that Im sure would all be delicious! And a smaller menu is a good thing IMO, as they can concentrate on making the food they do offer delicious! If you go here, give the workers a break and understand the situation they're in. If you don't get waited on Immediately, know this has become all too prevalent everywhere these days; and most often, slow service isn't a result of slack workers....definitely not here!

I proceeded to ask the older team member if it was possible if I could have light sauce on the meatball sub due to acidic sensitivity. The team member replied that it could be done. The team member then proceeded to begin making the sandwiches. My spouse and I then went to wait in the guest seating area. I then noticed the team making the last sub which was a tuna sub and I proceeded to ask the team member if it was possible to toast the bread before applying the cheese to the tuna sub. The team member gave no response and breathed heavily (Huffing and Puffing) while putting the bread in the toaster oven. Once the team member removed the bread from the toaster oven the team member openingly stated to the younger team member (Don't do this because its not what the receipt says and this can get you fired and If I get fired Im going the fuck off". I then politely stated to the team member that there wasn't an option on the app to toast the bread before cheese. The team member replied aggressively "There is a section for notes that's where you put it". The team member then gathered all the sandwiches in a bag and tossed it on the counter and walked away. My spouse proceeded to ask the older team member for her name and she replied " Why and that's irrelevant". My spouse and I proceeded to thank the younger team member for her assistance and walked out of the store. Upon arriving home and opening the sandwiches the meatball sub was not toasted, soggy, and seemed to have extra marinara. My spouse and I refused to return to the store and/or call the store due to rude team member and an unwelcoming environment.
