I have been a loyal client of this Medi Spa (Kucumber) for approximately 10 years. During that…read moretime, I spent thousands of dollars on services, paid for my treatments, and even referred three new clients because I genuinely believed in the practice. Unfortunately, my experience over the past year completely changed my opinion. During one Botox appointment, I was treated by an injector named Matt instead of my usual injector, Layla. The results were unacceptable. My smile became noticeably crooked, and the tendons in my neck protruded whenever I smiled. When I brought these concerns to the owner's attention, I felt they were dismissed. Rather than acknowledging that the injection/injector technique may have contributed to the outcome, I was told I might simply need a different product, such as Dysport. My concerns about the quality of the injection/injector itself were NEVER meaningfully addressed. After that experience, I made it clear that I only wanted Layla to perform my injections because she consistently provided excellent results. Shortly afterward, Layla left the practice. Before she left, I had prepaid $1,000 to bank future Botox treatments. Once she was no longer with the practice, I requested a refund because I no longer felt confident receiving injections from the remaining injector based on my previous experience. My refund request was denied due to the practice's no-refund policy. While they did offer to let me use the credit toward other services such as facials, that was not what I had purchased the credit for, nor did it address the reason I wanted the refund in the first place--I no longer trusted the injector who would be performing my Botox. What disappointed me most was not simply the policy itself, but the unwillingness to work with a loyal client of 10 years. I believed my long history with the practice, my referrals, and the amount I had spent there would have warranted some flexibility or a customer-focused solution. Instead, I felt the relationship I had built over a decade was valued less than enforcing a $1,000 policy. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I believe prospective clients should know that if your preferred provider leaves and you lose confidence in the remaining staff, you may still be locked into prepaid services with no option for a refund. That experience has permanently changed my opinion of this practice. I have found a different Medi spa and caution prospective customers of Kucumber to be aware that management does not value your relationship if situations go awry. Financial gain is paramount to them coupled w cash flow issues.

They meet the absolute bare minimum for state requirements and somehow stay open. All they care about is your money and their reputation.
