The manager replied at the time, acknowledging the issue and saying they were "fine-tuning appointment durations" and making adjustments. Wanting to give them the benefit of the doubt, I decided to try again this year. To be clear, the front desk staff and nurses have always been friendly and professional--no complaints there. During this most recent visit, they explained their internet was down, so I tried to be understanding. My appointment was at 11:50, but I wasn't called back until about 20 minutes later. After a brief conversation with the nurse, I changed into my gown and then waited another 15 minutes before the doctor (Andrea Jones) came in. She didn't apologize for the delay--just said, "Hi, thanks for your patience, welcome back." After waiting roughly 40 minutes past my appointment time, I expected a bit more acknowledgment, but I let it go. This was an annual skin exam. Dr. Jones asked about a mole on my cheek that had been bothering me last year, so I explained that I had it removed by another dermatologist a few months after my last appointment with her. I told her the area didn't completely smooth out after being shaved off, but that I wasn't eager to go through another cutting-and-healing process unless there was a less invasive option, like laser. She confirmed there wasn't, and said punching it out might be the best option. Somewhere in the conversation, things seemed to get lost in translation. I said I was tired of dealing with it, and she took that as me agreeing to another procedure. She then told me it would cost $750 since it was cosmetic. I was confused because I never said I wanted a procedure done. After we cleared that up, she responded: "Oh, then why are we even talking about this? We're just wasting our time talking about something you're not interested in treating." Like, I'm sorry--I'M wasting YOUR time?? Talk about RUDE. She had asked about my cheek, and I was simply answering her question. I never said I wasn't interested in improving it--only that I didn't want another surgical cut. That is not an appropriate way to speak to a patient. We continued with the skin exam. She mentioned my scalp looked irritated, so I explained the recent issues I'd had (acne flare-ups, scalp psoriasis, etc.). She listened, but showed no empathy for the stress or frustration I'd been dealing with. Her only response was, "Well, we can do a patch test," which felt more like another upsell than genuine care. Overall, she showed zero concern, and it felt like she was eager to end the appointment once she realized I wasn't planning to spend extra money on treatments or tests. Basically a 50 minute appointment for 5 minutes of the actual "Doctor's time". I gave this place a second chance after my poor experience last year, hoping things would improve. Unfortunately, today's visit confirmed the opposite. I will absolutely not be returning. Not now, not ever.

I took it today June 21st 2023, after a shower, no makeup no lotion! Nothing on my face! No filters.

I waited weeks for this appointment and received this message as I was walking in from the parking lot 3 min late. I have previously waited 20 min when they were delayed and had no issue w it. Another time I was 7 min late (traffic) but paid for my session anyway. I do understand that a business needs to keep customer bookings on time but the experience of being cancelled 3 min in was beyond extreme, that could be the difference between 2 people's watch's. You need to set expectations of how early you want clients to show up and wait so that they will not be considered late and cancelled.

As a busy mom with a young toddler, this is extremely disappointing given that I needed to arrange childcare for my appointment. I requested a refund on my package and wasn't even able to speak to a manager about the situation; they said they'd send an email to someone but there was no guarantee. So disappointing! Update: They still have not replied to me at all for weeks, or since they left a response on this review. Basically they took my money and vanished.

The two tattoos I had removed were on either ankle - apparently ankles take longer because they are so far away from the heart, and the blood has to travel further to remove the ink (don't quote me on that). I'm very happy with the final result. ANOTHER UPDATE (10/26/11): I've been in for 20 treatments and the tattoos are about 70% faded. Keep this in mind when deciding on what type of payment plan you're going with. The folks at Blink originally quoted me 10 treatments to remove the tattoos, and it's taken twice that long (and they're not gone). I am SO GLAD I went with the "12 payments and we'll treat you 'til they're gone" plan, or else I would have paid over $5,000 by now. The staff at Blink continues to be awesome. Would still highly recommend, just know that it's impossible to tell at an initial consultation how many treatments you'll need. UPDATE (12/27/10): I've now been in for 14 treatments. Tattoos are coming off slower than expected, but are fading gradually. I would highly advise going with the payment plan option (where you pay "x" number of payments up to a set amount, regardless of how many treatments it takes) or else paying the total up front as opposed to pay-as-you-go because there is just no way to determine how your skin will react to the laser and how long it will take. The staff at Blink is still wonderful as always. I've been in for 5 treatments. Agree with the previous poster, hurts like a SOB every single time, but Joanie is great, my appointment times are accurate, and I'm in and out in about 15 minutes. Plus, they offer 3 different payment plans to choose from. I've had great experiences here so far.

Unprofessional, poor work…read more Despite the review of F. Stoltzfus, I scheduled my daughter with this business for eyebrow treatment. Based on that review and Amy's response, it sounded like she took the scheduling of these appointments seriously, and would not cancel or reschedule the appointments. I couldn't have been more wrong. My daughter is a college athlete with a strict training schedule, so timing the recovery period (no sweating for 10 days post treatment) accordingly was very important. 1. The initial eyebrow treatment was poorly done. My daughter's natural hair color is dark brown, yet for some reason Amy gave her faint light blonde eyebrows. 2. The follow up appointment for the 2nd treatment was scheduled a month in advance according to my daughter's training schedule and to coordinate with another procedure that she was having done, so as to overlap the recovery protocols. However, a few days before that appointment, Amy texted my daughter saying that she needed to reschedule, and suggested an alternate date. My daughter reluctantly agreed to the alternate date. However, Amy wrote back saying that she had already given that appointment to someone else, and wanted to delay her 2nd treatment to the following week. I then called Amy and asked her to fit my daughter in during the week that she had originally agreed to, whether that mean coming in early, staying late, or moving someone else's appointment around, all of which she refused. Not only that, but she accused me of being unreasonable and refused to offer a refund for the cancelled service.

Everything was super clean and the rooms were new so everything was updated. The nurse who gave me my treatment was Emily, she was SO AWESOME. I cannot recommend Emily enough. She was super professional, you could tell that she cared a lot about her job, and she made me feel very safe. I would definitely recommend Emily and this LaserAway location.

This included a down payment and recurring monthly payments. I was able to receive a total of only two services over the span of eight months. Every time I tried to schedule an appointment, I received a notification the day before or a few days prior that my appointment was canceled due to "unforeseen circumstances." This happened SEVERAL times. I filed a dispute with the finance company and I was told I'd been denied. When I called LaserAway because I thought I should just keep trying to get an appointment booked, I was told I had no treatments left and that I'd been refunded! I've received no refund, and am told by the finance company I was only given a partial reduction. So I have 1) Not been given a refund 2) Paid $1.7k+ for just two treatments and 3) I cannot even receive the services I'm paying for. Please save yourself and go somewhere else

Where to begin? Debbie and her staff are an incredibly friendly, knowledgable, and welcoming group of individuals. As a transgender woman, facial hair removal has been by far the most difficult step in my transition. I came to Caddell's after a bad electrologist experience. From the start of my consultation, I could tell I found the right place. Debbie gave me a detailed, honest evaluation of my hair status and potential removal timeline. After a few sessions, I found the thing that really sets Debbie apart is her communication - I received an email from her in between treatments, and she let me know that she was thinking about different ways to help me achieve removal as fast as possible. It's evident that she truly cares about her clients and their goals, regardless of their personal circumstances. Other things to note: -The staff are always smiling and it's easy to tell they enjoy their work. -The facility and equipment are always clean. -Accessible location with ample free parking. To all my transgender sisters in the area: this is the place to go if you're looking for a comfortable environment that will provide true results. I started coming here a little while back to get laser hair removal after electrolysis wasn't showing results for me. I cannot say it with enough emphasis: Alisha is amazing and working with her has been fantastic! The treatment itself works. I noticed that my hair is literally falling out where it's been treated, and it grows in far thinner and less dense afterward. Alisha takes her time, and she does everything she can to make sure I'm comfortable and to mitigate pain caused by the laser. She also makes sure I know exactly what is happening and why she is doing it that way. She makes sure to answer any and all questions I have about it. She is personable and professional, and we have fun chats as she works so the time goes by fast and I'm distracted while she does the treatment. The prices are very fair; I always feel as though I'm getting my money's worth, especially given how my hair is responding to the treatment. The way they do their pricing is great because it gets cheaper as your hair thins out, and so I'm dropping less money as we go. My skin just keeps getting better and better thanks to Caddell's laser Clinic Because I did not take proper care of my skin and had lots of sun exposure I had extremely damaged skin. For the past few years I have tried different products to correct the deep lines and wrinkles with very little or no results. Then I decided to have a Fractional Co2 procedure and it made a difference!!! My friends even noticed and comment on how my skin looked younger and healthier, and my daughter says "it glows" My visit to Caddell's was great, from the time I arrived until my appointment was completed. I've been getting laser hair removal for my face for over half a year now, and the results have been wonderful. I used to have a constant five o'clock shadow, and since the start of my treatment, it's almost completely vanished (and on my cheeks and chin, it's entirely vanished). Alisha has been amazing too. I usually have a problem with procedures that involve discomfort, as my skin is fairly sensitive; however, she has gone out of her way to accommodate me and my anxiety, and has never made me feel bad or ashamed of needing to pause the procedure to give myself a moment to recouperate. She's been extremely professional and friendly, and also flexible around my schedule, which I immensely appreciate. I can't recommend Caddell's enough, especially Alisha! After many years of living with a 5x2" block blob of a mistake, I decided to bite the bullet and get it lightened....enough to have it covered up. When you have fantastic work done, the bad looks even worse. My tattoo artist (Christy Brooker) suggested Caddell's. Christy does her research, and I trust Christy. I made my appt and met with Debbie. Debbie was knowledgeable and informative. Get the topical numbing cream. What did it feel like? It felt the same as actually getting the tattoo...except it took less time. 15 mins and she was done! Healing process is a little longer than with the tattoo....but essentially the same. I may have to go in for one more treatment, just to ensure the new piece turns out spectacular. Bottom line, worth the time and money! read more

Caddell's has been such a fantastic place. I've gotten laser here to help my transition, and they have been nothing but helpful, kind, and welcoming. Despite how easy it could be to feel embarrassed or uncomfortable to be so exposed, especially as a trans woman, I have always been treated with dignity and respect. I would like to especially shout out Alisha, my tech. She helped me get over my embarrassment, she is receptive and regularly checks in to make sure I feel safe and am not in too much pain, and she helps talk me through it and keep my mind off of both of those. I wanted to write a review for Caddell's regarding the facial rejuvenation treatment I had last week. I went to see Kathryn and she gave me a Candela Rejuvenation treatment. It wasn't painful, just very warm on my skin and the pinkness didn't last long once the treatment was over. I have scheduled 4 more treatments with Kathryn which makes it so much more convenient for me, I don't have to stop and think about when I need to make the next appointment. Kathryn was very nice, very professional and did an exceptional job. She's also got a great sense of humor and made the whole session fun. Just had my second tattoo removal session at Caddell's. So far I have been treated by Debbie and Amber, and both are very professional and courteous. While I haven't had enough treatments to really see results yet, this clinic came highly recommended from someone who had entire sleeves and his neck tattoo removed. I suffer from sun damaged called hypopigmentation. Upon arrival I was greet with wonderful receptionist and then was introduced to my aesthetician Alisha. The clinic takes great precautions to ensure both client and staff safety due to Covid and I have felt shielded every time I have visited the clinic. She is also great with responding promptly & about checking in to adjusting the frequency of appointments depending on where things are at with your hair growth as opposed to pushing a set schedule that may be less effective & lead to needing more sessions. I just finished the last of my sessions this week & am super happy with the results. As an esthetician myself (though not certified in laser, otherwise, I'd do my own!), I really appreciate all the little ways she makes the experience more comfortable & if I weren't leaving the area I would definitely continue to come to Skinnovate for my lasering needs!

If you're there, check out the before and after pix in her lookbook (or on her web site, actually) and you'll see what I mean. My results match those results. I had a big event this year and I didn't want to hear "you look tired. you must be working sooo hard, it's such a shame you have to work" or "are you angry? What's wrong?" - both of which I've heard from co-workers, family, etc. So I decided to be brave and try something new. Dr. Bhogal injected my normal botox and then, on a different day, the new experience: three vials of filler, all different types, in various places in my face (not lips) about a month before the event. Grace also did a marvelous job with my eyelashes, which she tinted and curled. And it was a transformation. I still looked like me - nothing looked extra puffy, nothing looked "done" - I just looked like I'd had a glorious restful vacation and had been absolutely meticulous about skin care my entire life, and maybe had gotten a little lucky with the genetic lottery. Oh, and none of the filler was painful. A little weird feeling but there was a very generous amount of numbing cream applied and no pain whatsoever. I was extremely nervous about the filler (thank you, Google) and the office team and Dr Bhogal were wonderful about answering my dozens of questions and reassuring me and making sure I was totally comfortable with proceeding. Dr Bhogal is absolutely meticulous about all the rules, especially safety and cleanliness. And caring - she followed up after the procedure with anxious me several times to make sure I was happy and ok post-procedure, and had me send her pictures of how it was doing. The office staff are lovely, very nice, very helpful, very detail oriented.

The atmosphere was lovely, besides being very clean and quiet, the music mix was calming and not overpowering. She would check in with me regarding temperatures and making sure I was comfortable. I have had one or two facials in my life but this was the best, not a lot slopping on creams and wiping off to slop another cream on! More like lovely massaging creams (etc.) and just generally a relaxing experience. She also stayed with me the whole hour. I highly recommend Isabel for a wonderful facial.

Parking is in paid garage, but it is validated by the spa/clinic. Just present your ticket when you come in. The waiting room is lovely, with a soft radio music playing. The receptionist was very friendly and professional. My aesthetician Yaicha was simply amazing! Made me feel very comfortable, got into all the details, aftercare instructions, explained every step of the process very well. It's great to have such a warm reception for my first visit! I'm now considering buying a package to remove my second tattoo here as well. The whole process for the actual "removal" of my small (credit card size) tattoo took maybe 1-2 minutes. I personally didn't feel like it was so much more painful than getting the tattoo was. Just feels like hot oil splatters on your skin. Don't feel the need to use any numbing creams. But I do have a pretty high pain tolerance. In any case, the 1-2 minutes of pain aren't that bad. I'm excited to see how the healing process goes and how fast I can get rid of my unwanted tattoo.

For the first time I was to receive laser hair removal, which I knew very little about and was naturally slightly nervous about...imagine getting your bikini waxed for the first time, you know what I'm talking about girls ;-) Even though I was a bit late due to traffic, office manager was graceful and very sweet. After filling out some paperwork, I was greeted by Yaicha, who went over the details of this procedure and answered all my questions. The treatment itself is fairly quick with minimal discomfort. I have followup appointments and a consultation with Dr. McMillan scheduled. Yarrow Bay offers everything from waxing and facials to Botox, laser hair removal, laser skin treatments and Dr. McMillan performs an array of surgical enhancements. She is a younger surgeon (residency was completed in 2006), but has really good credentials and is board certified. Great experience from start to finish. P.S. They validate parking.

I'm sharing my personal experience so others can make an informed decision prior to just trusting…read moreprofessionals who are supposed to provide proper and professional care. About three weeks ago I had, what should have been a minimally invasive procedure, done at this location. Since then I've experienced ongoing complications that have not been properly addressed, nor fall under categorically minimal side effects that may result from the procedure, if it is done correctly. Despite reaching out multiple times, I have not been given a clear treatment plan or consistent follow-up care but instead I've received delayed responses or made to feel that it's a personal issue rather than a result of improper care. My condition has only worsened over time, and I've been left to manage this largely on my own. From the beginning, there were inconsistencies in communication. I was sold a package but later told I had misunderstood what was included in the package. I was also told that I would be sent home with aftercare products, which I understood to be part of the service, but were later presented as additional add-on products to purchase for necessary aftercare. I was given the run around from the time of purchase, until now that I have made several attempts to resolve this not only amicably but primarily to get my skin heath back. I was made to feel that this was an isolate issue because of my own skin but have since consulted with other RNs and licensed aestheticians to better understand what actually happened. Based on what I shared with them & their assessment of the aftermath, they expressed concern about how the procedure was performed, including the intensity, level of aggressiveness and the lack of proper skin assessment or testing beforehand by the aesthetician as there are different classes that the procedure fall under, some of which do not comply with certain skin types. I have tried to be patient, reasonable & more than fair in giving the business an opportunity to address this, but the responses thus far have been dismissive, unprofessional and lackluster given the severity of the situation & how it has damaged my skin & impacted my overall conscious throughout my day to day activities. This experience has had a significant impact on me, physically, emotionally, and professionally, and not something I take lightly. I had previously referred several friends here, which makes having to write this, even more disappointing. At this point, I do not feel comfortable continuing treatment with this provider as they have shown their lack of care & professionalism from start to finish. I am currently exploring further options to address the situation & hope that the business takes it seriously in working towards an actual resolution, prior to me taking further action to do so.
