BEWARE!!! A new strapless dress was brought in to be hemmed with the tags still on the dress. I picked up the dress and brought it home to try on. I found a hole in the dress where one of the hanging straps WERE. I then brought the dress back to them to have them repair it and they denied any wrongdoing (blaming the fabric of the brand new dress) and wanted to charge me to repair the damage they caused (which I believe they could have done easily). Needed some pants altered and had used 3 others close to home and was not pleased. So found Annie's and drove over to find him fitting a beautiful bride. The guy that works here is arrogant, prejudice, prideful and disrespectful. From the moment I walked in friendly and excited to have my dress altered he immediately treated me like I was a poor, can't afford to pay him for his service kind of person. I was kind and patient with him. His demeanor and attitude was the worst. I will admit I had no idea how much the alterations would cost so I was blind as to what it cost to hem a dress. I felt he jacked up the price to get rid of me. His alteration cost more than the dress. Once he told me the cost I was floored and expressed I was not sure if I should have him do it maybe I need to shop around. He immediately blew up at me and told me to take my dress else where. He proceeded to say he didn't need my business and that he was good at his work and rich people come to him not people like me who don't make his business grow. He immediately took the pins out my dress so fast and express his disgust in me as a client. It was the most terrible experience. So after I left I was not happy but I called a couple of people I know and they suggested I go back to him since I was in a time crunch and against my better judgment I called him back and basically begged him to please alter my dress he read me up and down angry as can be and he took my dress back to alter under one condition I pay him cash right now for the work for him to start. Well I was not happy but I left the dress feeling like what a mistake on my part. Long story short he so called altered my dress which turned into a NIGHTMARE! I honestly believe he ruined my dress on purpose to teach me a lesson that he was the so called "best alteration" guy in Greenville with lots of rich customers that support this business and his other 2 businesses. He was the worst and I would NEVER go to him ever again. I ended up having to buy another dress for my event. WARNING DO NOT USE HIM AT ALL HE IS PREJUDICE, PRIDEFUL, HAUGHTY and DISRESPECTFUL! I've taken 10+ shirts or pants here to be tailored. Many items turned out fine, but a few them came back with a weird fit or were too small. And unfortunately those items are now in the trash. The risk of losing 3 out of 10 shirts is simply not worth coming back here... This is a two-star tailor. read more

I use Annie for all of my alterations, from simply hemming pants or a dress, to taking a dress up a size or two. She's always very efficient, makes good suggestions, and is quick. I've recommended her to many friends over the years and they've always been happy with her work, as well. I had two friends that were bridesmaids in someone's wedding and needed to have their dresses altered three days before the wedding, and she was able to accommodate them. I rarely leave bad reviews but this alteration shop is a scam. I had two suits exactly the same size and material just different colors. I brought the first suit in was charged a reasonable price. I had to drive around and look for an ATM because they only take cash or check, but nevertheless was happy with the transaction. I went back with the second suit and when picked it up they charged over twice the price of the first suit. The owner said it was t her fault they undercharged me the first time. I looked back at both receipts and they had over a 100% price increase for no reason. Will not do buisness here again read more

I go to Annie's for all my alterations. They are all so nice there and they always do a great job on everything, from nice bridesmaid dresses to simple hemming. There have been a couple times I have had to go back and get something altered and they will fix it happily for free of charge.
