What a fun cafe!! Husband surprised me and said he wanted to take me out today but we needed to leave because they closed at 2pm. I wasn't sure what to think since he doesn't use yelp. When we arrived and parked I saw a group of people waiting outside (I was relieved because that was sign that it would be good if people were waiting) and was a bit worried that the wait would be long. However, owner Jan (Annie) greeted and seated us immediately as they had a table that just got done being cleaned for a table of 2. Our server and manager Emily was on it and got us drinks right away. We got waters and then ordered a classic mimosa (delicious with the added cherry juice it comes with) and mint and chip milkshake which she brought out immediately. Both very yummy. Everything looked so good on the menu that I didn't know what to order so of course I turn to Yelp for help. I always scroll through the photos to see what catches my eye that I'm in the mood for and saw a photo of the garden skillet with eggs sunny side up and thought that looks good and sounds healthy since it has the word garden in it lol I ordered the garden skillet, it comes with bell peppers, onion, mushroom and potatoes and scrambled egg. I added the chicken and eggs sunny side up. I was wondering why I didn't get charged for the eggs sunny side up and it's because they did that instead of the scrambled eggs. Wanted to try it with both scrambled and the sunny side up. But it's ok, it still tasted amazing without the scrambled eggs it usually comes with and with the eggs sunny side up. It came with toast too and all of it was very tasty. Husband ordered the chili which looked delicious in the skillet it came in, along with the sourdough bread. I was expecting just amazing food but this place is definitely an experience. While we were here the song Milkshake by Kelis played and Annie came out carrying milkshakes to deliver to a table. She sang and danced and told funny jokes. I love her humor. I'd come here just to hang out with her. The food and drinks are a bonus. Annie's cafe is doing something right as her employees are on it. Service is great and food came out pretty fast. Im certain this is going to be our new spot, I want to bring our kiddos to try the unicorn hot chocolate. I don't usually write reviews unless I'm impressed and Annie's did just that. I'd say this place is definitely worth a try. read more

My family and I came to this cafe for breakfast on New Year's Day. We were seated within 10 minutes . Out waitress was attentive and good explaining the different options they have for certain meals. Portion of the meals were huge and filled us up. Place was a little crowded but the good food made up for it. All of the other waitresses cheerful and they even did a milkshake performance for a customer who ordered a milkshake. Service sucks. We waited to be served after we sat down and waitresses walked by us several times. We got up and walked off. One of their staff got on Google when I reviewed them and said that was not normal. I dont care if they say it is normal or not. There was a couple sitting behind us who also said they had not been serviced yet either and by the way it was not busy. Other people have also stated the same thing. This review is completely about customer service. After dropping off my party and parking, I my party inside. The waitress tried to seat me as I walked in. I explained to her that I was with a party. I asked where she had set my party and she replied I seat a lot of people all day. Bad attitude Savannah. After we received our order she asked if there was anything else she could get us. I asked for more coffee. She said that was fine should be right back. Savannah proceeded to walk around and help other people 15 minutes later she brought the bill I asked again for more coffee 7 minutes later she came to refill cups. She was obviously incapable of attending more tables than she can handle. Food was excellent the menu is huge lots of variety the service was great we loved the pin game they had at the tables to play while waiting for our food. Decor is soooo cute London theme with knights and gear plenty to look at. Little gift shop was cute too. Annie was able to accommodate our party of 17 incl a sleeping newborn in a stroller and two toddlers - four families all in a moments notice! Our wait was less than 15 mins. at the 11:00 hour on a Saturday. We discovered how Annie and her crew are absolutely lovely people who provided us wonderful service with great coffee and a delightful array of brunch entrees to choose from. The Churchill and the bangers did not disappoint. Not fruit compote but little soft crisp plump blueberries filled the inside of my delicious crepe - it was so refreshing! The cutest diner. We were just passing through, and wanted to stop for a quick breakfast. The food is amazing, the service is quick and great. When we walked in and saw nearly every booth full on a Monday morning we were so worried this would take longer than we were anticipating, that wasn't the case. Amy was our waitress and she was quick, friendly, and attentive. This is hands down my favorite breakfast place. I don't live anywhere near Temecula but any time I've had a wedding or event in the area I have to stop here for breakfast before I leave. It feels so homey. The service is immaculate. Coffee is amazing. Portions are huge. Everything is always cooked to perfection and we always have an amazing experience. It was around noon on a Monday and restaurant wasn't busy but the food took a very long time to arrive and they forgot the fries for the burger, which we had to wait some more for it. Annie's Cafe was charming outwardly. The staff were kind and outgoing even singing a song to a newly married couple. I loved the ambiance and charm of the establishment. However, I must also rate the food hence the lower rating. The Monte Cristo was horrible. There were two options and we chose the fried on the server's recommendation. It was greasy and almost inedible. I traded my husband and tried to eat it but ended up boxing it and throwing it away later. The salad and soup were fine as were the fries but I was really disappointed that this sandwich was so bad.
