Came looking for our old staple, Be Good, sadly it's gone. Decided to give Rodeo Cafe a try. We sat down for drinks and apps. We got the pretzel bite appetizer and instantly knew we wouldn't be ordering more food. Look at this cheese, it literally came out with its own skin. The pretzel bites look like grocery store brand frozen microwaved bites. Positives? Our server was very nice. He really took care of us and he changed my review from 1 to 3 stars from his service alone. Thank you CJ. Drinks were just ok, a little confusing. Couldnt understand why my drink featuring whiskey with watermelon and orange liqueurs came out a clear electric blue. Or why my husband's blackberry smash is peach colored. CJ explained it when we asked, that helped. Thankfully they maintained the outside seating with the water sprayers, and the music is nice. read more

Yummy find! We drove by the place trying to find a place to eat and saw it in old town Temecula! Staff was friendly and were welcoming! Rodeo themed restaurant and gave off cowboy vibes which was so cute. We had delicious appetizers and love the cauliflower. Burger was delicious and so was the steak. We highly recommend it! Stopped here in Old Town Temecula for lunch on our way to Pechanga. Ordered the classic burger with fries and a nice cold 805 beer. The food was decent, service good, and food was served quickly. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Street parking can be a challenge, and some lots are pricey. read more

One of my favorite spots and so cool it's now a rodeo themed cafe/bar we sat at the bar and had great service! The drinks were great. I got a mango Margarita with tajin rim and my husband got a blonde beer the appetizers were delicious too. Everything was served fast. Great atmosphere. Super cute decorations for the holidays and the staff were all really friendly! I love that the patio area was dog friendly and brought our dog a water bowl while we were dining. We had family visiting so we decided to try Rodeo cafe. The patio area is good sized and was decorated very fun for Dia de las Muertos. Located in Old Town Temecula, parking is recommended at one of the public parking areas like the parking garage near city hall. I had waffles, eggs and sausage, it was delicious. Portions were humongous! I literally had to take half my plate home. This was a great brunch place to eat at after a night of drinking. My huevos rancheros plate with red sauce was yummy. Super filling! Good service. Free parking at the public garage. read more

We recently had breakfast at Rodeo Café in Old Town Temecula and ordered the chilaquiles and the kids cheeseburger. The food was absolutely delicious, the drinks were great, and the atmosphere was welcoming and enjoyable. Unfortunately, the service didn't match the quality of the food. Our server took our order and brought out our meals, but after that, we never saw him again. We had to ask another server for drinks. I know this restaurant has struggled in the past, and I genuinely hope it succeeds because the food is worth trying. But great food alone isn't enough to keep customers coming back. Consistent, attentive service is just as important. I hope the owner sees this as constructive feedback, because with better service, this could easily become one of our favorite breakfast spots. As it stands, we're not sure we'll be back. read more

My friend and I came here for dinner and the food was just ok, nothing that I would come back for. I had the Cowboy Salad and the steak had an odd texture. I did have a hiccup with being overcharged, but they were prompt to address the situation. Breakfast seems to be their jam, so I might come back for that. read more

Rodeo Cafe is located in a prime spot in Old Town right across the street from 1909. I was excited to try the food because I read good reviews and the interior decor looked charming, especially for the Christmas holiday. It is rodeo themed with horse saddles on display and barrels as part of the decor and furniture. The facility was kept clean and the service was great. Unfortunately the food was very mediocre at best. The chicken fried steak looked like a processed meat patty, and the green chilaquiles were just okay in flavor. The best part of our meal were the potatoes and the hash browns. There was also a small strand of hair in my food. I came in on Friday morning to try Rodeo Cafe for breakfast, and unfortunately, I was very disappointed. My aunt ordered her eggs cooked her way with a side of hash browns and a biscuit with gravy on the side. When the biscuit was served, we immediately noticed it was green and covered in mold. We called the server over right away, and he sincerely apologized and offered to replace it. While I appreciated his apology and attempt to make it right, the damage had already been done. Seeing mold served with our meal made us lose confidence in the kitchen, and I was afraid to eat the rest of my food. It was a very unpleasant experience, and unfortunately, we will not be returning. read more

There's a new cafe in town and she won't disappoint. Family owned and operated, Rodeo Cafe has opened a new location in Old Town Temecula. Currently open for breakfast and lunch, dinner will I'll be offered once they obtain their liquor license and I can't wait. So many tasty breakfast offerings to choose from including speciality chilaquiles, Eggs Benedict, omelettes, steak and eggs, pancakes and more. Lunch options include salads, soup (loved the clam chowder), burgers, hot and cold sandwiches. The cafe is clean and tastefully decorated and offer inside or outside dining. I am so glad this place replaced BEGOOD. I thought begood was overly priced and I didn't care for their selections. We had the 1/2 lb burger and it was huge and big enough for both myself and wife to split. We got it with Fries and paid $6 extra for side salad. Everything was good...its nice to find at least one place where you can sit off front street without killing the wallet. 1909 is fine, but the menu and "vibe" is a little "preppy" for my liking. Rodeo Cafe's steaks and burgers at a reasonable price is much more up my alley. The food was good and prices were reasonable, but nothing stood out yet....will try more next time we go...but for now this is our go-to to replace 1909 when we want the oldtown vibe. We of course stopped by the ice cream cone place on our way home. While I may suggest the restaurant is "nothing to write home about", it is in a prime location of old town temecula. When we want that "vibe", it is currently our "go to" for that purpose. I like "Swing Inn" better, but this is at a better location, and nice for a change, and much prefer it to the 1909 menu and preppy feel, and think the prices are much better too. read more

Decided to give this a try for lunch. We were greeted right when walking up to the building and offered seating. We decided to sit inside. They redid the bathrooms which was great! The staff were really nice and attentive. We ordered a burger and the hot turkey sandwich. The portion size is good. They cooked the burger perfectly and it was delicious. It came with fries, a pickle, a grilled jalapeño and some salsa. Everything tasted great. The hot turkey sandwich came with mashed potatoes and gravy, and roasted corn. We went here on Dec 6, Christmas Parade night. It was busy everywhere, we secured a table to watch the parade, so much fun. Rafael the host was gracious, helpful and accommodating! I ordered Chilaquiles and they were amazing! You don't find them on many menus, so when I see them, that's my go to! I had the red (beef) sauce. My husband and I went there recently, and I was disappointed with my food. I ordered Chilaquiles with green sauce and pork, and it was not great. The sauce itself was lacking flavor, and the pork pieces were very few and small. Very generic taste. I asked for a side bowl of sauce and the pieces of pork in there were a fatty consistency and it grossed me out so I didn't even eat my chilaquiles. I also ordered a bloody mary spicy . Some places to make in house mixes, but I can tell that Rodeo Café does not, which is ok, as long as the drink is made well . For the spice all I can taste was Tabasco in it, not even black pepper. Not great again. On a positive note of potatoes were good, but most likely will not be coming back here to eat. read more
