Lovely paintings of Cambodia throughout the restaurant

Meal and service were five stars! Who knew Eureka had good Asian food! Those fried shrimp rolls were nice and crispy and the texture of the crepe was perfect with plenty of filling (bean sprouts, lettuce, chicken, onion, jicama, cucumbers, fresh basil) which paired nicely with an in- house made peanut sauce. Loved the decor and the ambiance was warm, welcoming, and vibrant. Service was excellent. The pace of taking our orders, checking in, bringing the check, and refilling our waters was on par. Definitely an option to consider if you plan on visiting downtown Eureka. Plus, it's located next door to this cute Asian convenience store. Check it out.

Taro smoothie that tastes a bit like Oreo cookies, surprisingly!

I ordered Fish Amok/ Amok Trei, which was delicious. My wife ordered Cambodian Crepe/ Banh Chav. Both were delicious, with the crepe being surprisingly light. I also ordered a taro smoothie, which the waitress said tasted like a bit like Oreo cookies. Turns out she was right. Pleasant atmosphere, good friendly service. A real gem of a restaurant. Definitely recommended.

My favorite pad Thai in Humboldt county!! It's the best!! Chicken is tender, lots of crushed peanuts, cilantro and beansprouts. Always so fresh!! It never disappoints.

I was in the area and consulted Yelp for a place to have dinner. The 4.3 average rating looked promising so I decided to give this place a try. There is a parking lot and street parking. The staff was friendly and the interior was nice. I ordered the egg rolls and chicken rice plate. The flavors and spice level were underwhelming. The pricing was expensive for what you get. Beware of the egg rolls they are tiny and in my opinion not worth the $8 price tag for three mini egg rolls.

    Beef and broccoli stir fry

When we arrived, we parked on the side of a brown building with no windows so we weren't sure if we had the right location. As we walked in it was pretty busy for a Tuesday night and they didn't have ample seating so we agreed to sit at the bar. They were extremely accommodating and as soon as a table for 5 was available they moved us. We orders shrimp rolls and cheese puffs for appetizers along with oolong tea and then we decided to do family style dining so that the five of us could try multiple dishes on the menu. We ordered the Pad Thai with beef, the house fried rice, the broccoli stir fry with beef, the Chow Mein with chicken and the sweet and sour fish. Everything was delicious and tasted fresh and we were waited on attentively. The owners were friendly and explained it was a family business passed down from the previous generation and we realized this is the only Cambodian restaurant in town! If you are in the mood for some delicious savory food and excellent service you have got to make room to give this spot a try! I'm sure you won't regret it!

    Veggie yao hon

Came here at 6 on a friday. Got the Yao Hon, red chicken curry, and papaya salad. The papaya salad was the best. The flavor was pretty good. Had a lot of pork strips in it. 5/5 The red curry was a more liquid kind. Tasted a lot of ginger. Had 4 large sized pieces of chicken in it. Charged $3 for a small bowl of rice ($6 for a big bowl) which is very pricey considering its just a bowl of white rice. The chicken pieces were moist but the overwhelming ginger flavor of the red curry was too much for me. 2/5 The Yao Hon was a first. Never tried it before. Came with a plate of veggies and some noodles on top. The flavor was a little lemony, peanuty, savory and mostly sweet. It was VERY sweet. Especially after the soup boils and the water evaporates a bit the flavor gets to be quite overwhelming. Eaten with the rice is very good but since the rice is so expensive and needed to be coupled with the soupy dishes is not ideal. 3/5 Service is standard. The business seems to be doing well since it is in a smaller city, however I probably would just stick to ordering the more standard dishes like papaya salad, fried rice, pad thai, etc.

The pho after we had started. We were too hungry to wait!

Really love this place! Would say it's the best option for South East Asian food in the county. Pretty much our go to.

The couple that runs the restaurant are so hospitable and excited to share their craft. We live out of state and come every time we're in town! I was surprised to see people complaining about portion sizes or price - that's absurd. I can never finish my plate and it reheats like a dream. Please don't weigh the bad reviews when considering if you should eat here. I think those people are just generally dissatisfied with life, and it has nothing to do with the food. They probably don't even really like Thai food. Trust me. Go. Try new things you don't usually order. Ask for recommendations. It's all exceptional.

Delicious food, Excellent service [Arcata CA]…read more We found this Thai restaurant from searching Yelp. We were still a little full from our late lunch in Klamath so we just ordered some appetizers and dessert: Bencharong Wings - the wings were deep fried and it was delicious with the homemade Thai chili sauce. It came with 7-pcs. Perfectly crisped. Golden Tofu - hubby loved this deep fried tofu appetizer. It was served with sweet & sour sauce and topped with crushed peanuts Sweet Sticky Rice w/ Mango (seasonal) - my all time favorite Thai dessert. Can't go wrong with this sweet treat. Nice, cozy interior with lots of wall decor. Customer service was pleasant and friendly. One very clean all-gender restroom. We are 310 miles away from the restaurant (over 5 hours) but would love to dine here again when we return to the Humboldt County. Parking is plentiful. Review #3778

We stopped in for mostly Chinese as our places back home suck for Chinese so we keep an eye out for other Chinese places to try when we travel. We are in town for the long labor day weekend and stopped in for dinner. We are so very glad we did! Some of the best Chinese food we have had in YEARS!! The entire place was being waited on by one guy who was doing a fantastic job because it was super busy with every table full, orders coming in from every direction (in store and to go orders!) and new customers showing up as well throughout. Despite all that chaos he was very attentive and got our order right the first time and handle everything like a pro! Great Job! We got the Chinese veggie egg rolls, the Thai spring rolls, mushroom chicken, pan fried noodles and combo chow mein. Everything was delicious and came out hot and fresh! My only concern is that they were out of a lot of things on their menu which I am not sure if that is a normal thing for them or just happened to be this weekend due to it being a holiday weekend and a close location to the waterfront where there are a lot of tourists. This was our first visit to this spot and we are from out of town. Luckily, we only missed out on having the fried banana dessert. We definitely will be back to this spot on our next visit!
