Honey walnut shrimp, the special with baby bok choy and tofu in wine sauce (comes with rice), and General Tao's chicken.

Delicious food, a calm and aesthetically pleasing atmosphere, and wonderful service! There is plenty of space for large parties and even medium large events. I highly recommend the honey walnut shrimp it is perfectly cooked and the shrimp are huge! Hot tea is always perfectly steeped ready to drink but they also sell bobs here too!

Especially pleasant server and excellent prices. Ample parking as well. What I did not like was that the egg rolls, while very freshly fried, were very oily ... literally leaking oil onto my hand and plate. Not sure the picture shows this well, but it was quite oily. The pork fried rice that came as a rice choice with the lunch special should probably be named "essence of pork" fried rice, but despite the minimal pork, it was good. I chose sesame chicken and my lunch companion had sweet and sour chicken. They were essentially the same dish, with just slightly different sauces. The portions were very generous. The other thing I did not care for was the Fox News on the radio at a high volume. It was unappetizing.

The server, who I think might have been the owner, was very friendly and trying really hard, but this was honestly the worst Chinese food I've ever had in my life. The food took forever to come out. The fried rice was flavorless. Maybe they put a dab of dark soy sauce in it and that was it. Rice seemed fresh instead of using older rice so texture was weird. Szechuan beef was dripping in a sweet and sour sauce and in a pool of oil, was not spicy as I requested, and many pieces were stuck together and not fried the cook must have just thrown pieces in together because he was in a rush and so there were big clumps of beef that were not even fried because it was stuck together. The orange chicken was rock hard. Literally tasted so stale and hard, not crispy at all, just hard. The silverware was dirty. I will say, the prices were very good but I would have rather paid more for edible food. This is one of the few times in my entire life the food was so bad I couldn't eat. We paid and left and went and ate at another restaurant. I'm so disappointed.

    Overall, a good meal.

This place was a Chinese restaurant when our family first moved to town in 1974.   It's changed owners and names a few times over the years.   This was my first visit under this version of the restaurant.   I walked in, and the lady running the place was very nice.    I got my own menu, and found my own seat.   She came to take my order right away.   I looked at the menu, and decided on the Triple Delight  lunch special. The Triple Delight is Chicken, beef and prawns, with veggies in a Chinese brown sauce.    You have a choice of what you want for your sides.   I chose the egg drop soup, and the crab and cheese puffs.   It also comes with a choice of steamed or fried rice, I had the fried rice.  .   Lunch was good.   It was a lunch sized portion, so it was not huge, but it was just enough to fill me up.   The egg drop soup had plenty of egg, and was not oily or greasy at all.   It had a good flavor.   I liked the puffs.  I don't know if it was real crab or not, but the combination of the seafood and the cream cheese was a good mix.   The rice was done well, good texture, and was not overly fried or overly sauced.   There was a fair amount of the 3 proteins, They were not over or under cooked, and i liked the sauce.   The only negative, was the veggies were a *bit* overdone.   They still tasted good, they still had a bit of a "snap" to them, but they were also wilted a bit.   It was around $14 after tip and beverage.   A decent price.   I'd come back and try some of the other things.   Thanks!!!l

This is a great option for Chinese food here in Eureka. Their orange peel beef is delicious! The chow mein isn't my favorite, but still worth it. And the owners/employees are always great, always so kind, and working so hard. One note is to plan on it taking a minute, they're always super busy. I'd suggest planning on it taking longer than the quoted time. Tonight I was quoted 25 mins a for a take out order and it took 60 mins. That's the longest it's ever been, but it's regularly longer than the estimated time. Highly recommend, it's worth the try!

Food is great, had the sliced bbq and it was delicious and a great portion. Their Mongolian beef is also great. Owners are super nice and always play great 80s music.

Food is always good, but I do wish sometimes it was just a little less greasy. But the portions are substantial for the price.

Does anyone know what is vegan here? I imagine oyster sauce would be the main disqualifier?

It left a very waxy film in your mouth unlike donut mill which makes exceptional apple fritters. I assume they use some solid frying oil like shortening or something. But the real reason for leaving this review is as I came in. I asked for a round glazed cinnamon roll. It was 6.95. An apple fritter was 6.95. A dozen donut holes was 5.95 a glazed donut was 2.95. Are you absolutely out of your mind? The donuts are so mid tier and youre charging more for that filth than a local bakery does for their pastries. Absolutely out of your minds. We would always make fun of this place because the lady would be so obnoxious and always be like and then and then and then what else what else you want what else you want and then what else you want. Like nothing I want one donut that's it. Thank god she wasnt there this morning and it was some other gentlemen. I gladly told him I didn't know donuts were so expensive and I walked out. How does this place still exist a dozen regular donuts are 40 dollars

Worst Donut Shop Experience of My Life. Stay Away. I don't…read moreeven know where to begin. $37.50 for a dozen donuts. Let that sink in. When I had the audacity to ask what justified that price, the owner didn't just fail to answer -- she turned immediately hostile, became openly rude to me, and then tried to enlist other customers in the store to gang up on me. In a donut shop. Over a price question. Rather than addressing my concern professionally, she attempted to drag strangers into the confrontation -- what should have been a straightforward conversation between a business owner and a paying customer turned into something embarrassing and hostile. A business owner who responds to basic questions by belittling customers and stirring up conflict has no business running a business. On top of that, the store itself was visibly dirty. Cleanliness is non-negotiable when you're handling food that people put in their mouths -- it's the bare minimum. The hygiene standards on display were deeply concerning and off-putting. This place deserves zero stars. If you value your money, your dignity, and basic food safety standards, do yourself a favor and drive right past it. I will not be returning.

Driving through Northern CA and did not expect such a filling and fun meal…read more This spot is definitely a Chinese, Korean, Japanese fusiony spot that I did not expect to find here. We ordered the Chinese Style Lamb Stew, Cheese Corn, Kung Pao Vegetables, and it came with a side of banchan. Every single dish here was absolutely delicious and piping hot! We ended up ordering a second plate of banchan because it was so good. The daikon radish had the most satisfying crunch and the others- cabbage and bean sprouts were very well pickled too! Cheese corn was sweet and honestly a good pairing with the very soury/ pickled soup. The kung pao vegetables would have definitely fooled me if I wasn't told it was mushroom. The batter holds on the oyster mushrooms just like chicken does. Well seasoned. Service was very impressive - there was a single waitress serving lots of tables. She had amazing recommendations and really seemed like she knew what she was doing. Very kind and attentive the entire time. Would love to return.

The pan fried chicken dumplings were from Costco, the spicy beef ramen left much to be desired and had an extremely dry egg. And then my friends chow mein came out half way through our meal (they forgot), had no veggies and was sweet?? They kind of attempted to fix it, so we were willing to let things go. That was one thing, then as we were waiting for them to pick up our card to pay, our server, Mira, loudly complained to her coworker about us sending the food back and how we were "pissed" (we weren't, until she started almost yelling about the situation to her coworker). Extremely unprofessional. Makes us second wanting to return in the future.

A Tale of Two WOKINs: A Journey from SoCal to NorCal in Search of the Perfect Bite…read more Every family has a story, a collection of moments stitched together with love, laughter, and--if you're lucky--really, really good Chinese food. Ours begins in Redlands, California, where a humble, hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurant called WOK IN became more than just a place to grab takeout. It became a second home. A young couple owned it, pouring their heart and soul into every dish, and over the years, we grew close, bonding over sizzling woks and steaming bowls of comfort. But life, as it often does, led us north. A new chapter. A fresh start. And while we embraced the adventure, there was one thing missing--a place that felt like our place, a little corner of the world where good food and good people came together. For nearly a year, we searched. And then, like a beacon in the fog of hunger, we found it: WOK IN WOK OUT in Eureka, California. I told my wife about it, cautiously optimistic, but she met my excitement with skepticism. "Let's see if it's the same," she said, as only a woman who has been burned by disappointing takeout before can say. So we did. The order was simple: Kung Pao Chicken, soup, and Pad Thai. The stakes? Immensely high. One bite in, and suddenly, it wasn't just dinner--it was a rediscovery. The flavors were bold, the textures perfect, the spice hitting just right. And then, the true test: my wife, pregnant and all, gave me the nod. It didn't make her sick. That, my friends, is the highest praise a restaurant can receive in our household. While nothing will replace our forever WOK IN family in SoCal, WOK IN WOK OUT has given us a new home for comfort food up here in NorCal. It's not just about the food--it's about the feeling, the nostalgia, the quiet joy of finding a place where you belong. So, to the good people at WOK IN WOK OUT: thank you. You've given us more than just a meal--you've given us a piece of home. -Jacob Williams
