This place was taken over by new ownership in January. Story is very sweet - family owned and teenager trying to save for college from the business. However, they actively use AI to determine pricing ... and will do so in front of you. I always try to support small businesses but I cannot stomach someone pricing something using AI in front of me. Additionally, I expressed interest in a painting of a national park. It had some water damage and frame damage. She priced it in front of me at $200+ via AI and said she would have to talk to her husband due to it potentially being an original. I asked what year the painting was from - she said 1800s (per AI) and that she got it from an estate sale. I asked how she was sure it was an original, and she said because it looks like it ...yikes. If you're going to sell a painting from a thrift store for this price, I'd hope for some type of secondary verification. Not using AI to determine everything - which she said she does for the entire store. I'm not the type to leave a poor review, and I hope the teenager attends her university of choice in the future. BUT PLEASE. Don't bring AI to local thrift shops. We go for the nostalgia and the affordability. Many blessings to this business and I hope they get their feet under them. read more

I have been wanting to check this out for quite some time but I rarely get to because of their hours. Not alway open on their posted hours. This is referenced as an Antiques shop and looks like a thrift store but it's really more of a collectors shop. Several items are pricey and look like eBay "Buy it now" prices. Very dusty I saw some Hummel figurines in a the glass cabinet that appear to be the same ones some posted here 3 years ago. They could be different but they appear to be the same ones I saw. This is a vintage shop with some collectibles that may be hard to find. But it was far to pricey for the things I would have liked to purchase. So disappointed!!!! After seeing the store's ad on Facebook for their 30% "reopening" sale for May 8th-10th ("just in time for Mother's Day) my daughter and I drove all the way to the store on Saturday at 1:00pm when we arrived several other ladies where there too outside by the front door which was locked and the store was dark so I called the phone number listed on the front door and spoke to the owner who literally said she "just couldn't get motivated and was spending the afternoon swimming in her pool with a friend" pretty sure that's not going to help the store stay afloat and "keep its lights on". Still upset today I wrote a Facebook comment about the situation which apparently the owner didn't like because she removed the comment. It's actually very sad as I liked this store quite a bit but will now never shop there again !!!! read more

I had the worst expirience here ever. The owner is so rude and unproffesional. I was looking for props for a set and after asking the price of a couple items I was holding a hat and she yelled at me "where did you get that!? I need to get that off of you right now, where did you find it?" I replied "um... on the floor" I walked by her and said "lets go" to my daughter, "we are clearly unwelcome here." She then said "if you are going to have an attitude you can leave I don't need your buisiness." I couldn't believe it. What a way to run a buisiness. I will not be going back and will make it a point to tell everyone I know about my expirience there so they are sure not to get the same treatment. read more

Beautiful stuff....but I don't get the feeling she really wants to sell anything. Full of stories about the stuff she supposedly has ALREADY sold... at supposedly outrageous prices that I can't imagine anyone paying. And I do not say this as a neophyte. I'm well versed in most aspects of this business - though there's always room to learn. But not only were the prices way off, the dating was laughable. We don't mind paying fair (and even high, by many people's standards) prices for what we want. We inquired about a top hat up on a shelf - my husband looked at it and knew it wasn't that old, but still a nice hat that we had a use for - and she went on & on about how OLD it was and named some absurdly high price for it. I mean - a high price even if it WAS authentically as old as she said - which it was not. I can't imagine very many people actually are ALLOWED to buy stuff here! I can only guess that she either married rich or inherited enough money to allow her this as a "hobby" - because she either doesn't' know what she's doing AT ALL, or she's willfully trying to gouge people who she thinks don't know better.
