Bar area.

Trendy cider and spirits bar on the East End. Several ciders on tap and in the bottle available, most I have ever seen from a singular location. Cool vibes with great proximity to other fun spots. Nice patio area as well.

All the ciders are delicious

So nice we came back the next day. Deliciously curated list of ciders. There wasn't a single drink we didn't love. Mostly did cider but the gin and tonic was also amazing and smelled like Christmas. Bar is beautiful and ambiance on point. The music was also great, a mix of chill hip hop and house, like Anderson Paak vibes. This is up there for one of my favorite Portland bars. Conveniently located near a couple other great places (Oxbow, duck fat shack, Terlingua). These places were bumping but Anoche was a bit slower. Silly people, don't miss out on this bar! Will be back to try the snacks

Drink Review Only: I never drink cider but was next door at Oxbow and figured why not give it a try. I LOVED the limited edition Cider they had called the Edens Harvest Press. I basically downed the first one and had to obviously order a second pour. Apparently anything Edens is great so if you're looking to try cider from Anoche, give that a try. There was a decent amount of outdoor seating but no heat lamps yet as of 11/6. However, that whole row of breweries/distilleries are all friends so I'm sure you could snag a table from one of their neighbors with heat lamps.

Hot cider- no alcohol $4 Extremely worth every penny!

Most definitely the best hot cider I've ever had. Paid $4 for a small cup and it was worth every penny. Hot enough to warm you up On these cold days for sure!

Great g&t!

I've always been a beer fan, bourbon fan, and whiskey fan, and gin has not normally my jam. This place changes that completely. The gin and tonic's are absolutely perfectly balanced, the atmosphere is great, and the ciders they carry on tap are amazingly plentiful. We came for the drinks, but the food looked and smelled amazing. We will definitely be back with our appetites next time! Definitely a place that I will go back, I can't wait to update my review with the food.

Great tapas spot in the downtown area! Had such a lovely waiter too during our visit. Liked all the…read moresavory dishes too, each with its own distinct taste! Ranking: 1) Spicy beef salad 2) Suckling pig 3) Pinkytoe crab 4) Lobster pasta 5) Bone marrow toast The desserts were nothing special but I did like the strawberry white chocolate one. The rhubarb one was meh personally; tasted like yogurt I could eat from the grocery store.

The lemon sole (fish) and octopus carpaccio (not pictured) were filled with flavor! The pork belly was very underwhelming and I would not order again. The waiter said 2-4 plates per person. I recommend starting on the lower end and adding additional dishes based on how you're feeling. The amount of food was very different from dish to dish. For example the tuna dip had way too much bread and the pork belly was very small in size. Overall I was half impressed. I wish the staff would take a moment to announce the plate as it's placed next to you or point it out on the menu for those hard of hearing and wanting to know what they are about to enjoy. However the music, overall restaurant vibe and half the dishes exploding with flavor made my experience pleasant and I will return again knowing a bit more of what to expect and looking at photos of the menu/meal options beforehand.

I wouldn't recommend Lucky Cheetah…read more The aesthetics, atmosphere, and cocktails were all great, and I can see why the place is popular. Unfortunately, the service completely overshadowed the positives. The moment I walked in, I was asked if I had a reservation, which is perfectly normal. When I said no, the host gave me a look that felt very much like, "How dare you?" before telling me I was lucky they had one spot left at the bar. Oddly enough, the bar appeared mostly empty, but whatever. I was seated in what felt like the worst seat possible--tucked into a corner right next to the POS station, where servers were constantly moving back and forth picking up drinks. It wasn't exactly a comfortable or relaxing place to sit. The bartender was pleasant enough, but the overall vibe remained off the entire time. I felt less like a paying customer and more like someone they were reluctantly doing a favor for by allowing me to be there. I ordered the lobster and crab rangoon bags, which had a nice texture but were overwhelmingly salty. As soon as I placed my appetizer order, the menu was taken away, which made me feel rushed and unwelcome. The bartender also didn't check in much throughout the meal. It's a beautiful space with good drinks, but hospitality matters. Unfortunately, I left feeling unwelcome from start to finish, and I wouldn't return.
