Ordered chocolate chip pancakes for my daughter with no syrup or whipped cream - when they came to the table there were no chocolate chips in them. When I told her there were none, she came back with a cup of chocolate chips and said they do not put them inside the pancake - I informed her that the menu says otherwise and that I would have just ordered regular pancakes if that was the case. I've always had waffles crispy on the edges. Syrup is just a meh. Nothing special. Too much staff hanging out at the front desk. Its awkward to have so may eyes on you when you walk through the door. We went on leap day and they were moderately busy. The food was pretty good and since it was Leap Day, they were offering free coffee. I love the location on River Walk...it is really pretty and the restaurant is very spacious. However, our waitress was not that attentive to us during our visit. She did not really check on us much and that was disappointing because we needed things at our table and what not. Hopefully, the next time we go back the visit will be more pleasant and our wait staff will be up-to-par on servicing our table. read more

Waits are long, but the service was excellent! The hostess was so friendly and the bartender was super helpful. Bar seating is FCFS, so having a party of 2 got us a bar seat super fast. Teanesha was the best! She was able to service tables and the bar while simultaneously making some bomb drinks. Food was divine. I love getting a chance to eat here when in town. I say this because it is popular and on a crowded weekend the wait could be an hour plus. My recent visit, August 19th, did not disappoint. We say outside and enjoyed the view of the trees and river. Our sever, young dark skinned male, was friendly and a great server. When I walked in the door, I was a little nervous because I had never been there before. But the staff greeted me with smiles and were very nice. They even complimented me with what I was wearing that day. It was my very first birthday brunch and I enjoyed the view, customer service, and even the customer themselves were nice and complementary. I was afraid I wouldn't get a table outside so my family could see how beautiful it was, but they made sure that all my needs and wants were met. I've eaten here on several occasions at different times in the morning and have always been given at least a 30 minute wait time. Once you get through the long wait the service and food is great! I've always had pleasant servers who go above and beyond, even when they're slammed. Today we had my 1 y/o nephew with us and he spilled a drink on the table and the server and bussers were incredibly kind and helped us clean up. One of my favorite dishes is the Eggs Blackstone Benedict. The Hey Lucie! and Mardi Gras omelettes were a big hit at our table, as well. The coffee is great and they have a great variety of brunch drinks, including fruity mimosas and bloody Mary's. I've never had any complaints about the food, drinks or service. Decided to go here with two of my girlfriends to have brunch. Christian was our server and he was very nice. I ordered a mimosa and one of my friends ordered a coffee. He then waited a moment and came back to take our order (still no drinks) While taking our order he didnt write anything down then we did not see him again until the food came out. The food came out and we had to ask for our drinks because we still didnt have them. My friend ate her french toast without syrup (after asking) She also ordered eggs which she did not get. I also ended up ordering French Toast but when the food came out he handed me pancakes. He told me it was his mistake and took the pancakes back. I decided to go ahead and eat my eggs and bacon and my friends ate their food. My french toast came out after we were finished eating and was cold upon touching it and after asking again we still received NO SYRUP so I didnt even get to eat them. I dont recommend. My wife and I ate here recently for brunch and while the food and waitress were on point, our dining experience was not. Because of the number of people there, we were seated outside. On that particular day the weather was cold and breezy. The entree that I ordered came with a side of eggs which were cold within 5 minutes of being set down at our table. Our coffee was having to constantly be refilled because of the cold weather. My suggestion to corporate is to begin preparations on installing screens to keep the wind at bay and also bringing in portable heaters to help keep not only the food warm but also the customers too.
