Still the best!!!! Pot roast was wonderful, as always! Husband got the mahi mahi with grits -- YUM! We also did the award winning chili and Bama burger with caramelized onions, mushrooms and bacon. I'm salivating just writing this review. We don't even leave the hotel to eat! No need!

Pot Roast with mashed potatoes and green beans.

I am staying at the hotel for a business trip and on my first night i decided to try out the bistro connected to the hotel. I'm not sure how i feel about this place, hence the three stars. The service was fine, the young lady serving me was very nice and pleasant but also gave off a vibe that it was her first day. The restaurant itself gave more of a cafeteria feel with tables placed in a room with very minimal decor. The food wasn't bad. I ordered the pot roast and it came with green beans and mashed potatoes. The pot roast was pretty tasty; however to my surprise they put pickles in it? Never in my life have i heard of pickles being in a pot roast and it was almost infuriating. The mash potatoes was pretty good and the green beans were inedible, lacked flavor and poorly prepared. Honestly if you're just trying to grab a bit with little fuss this is a great place to come but outside of that i wouldn't come here again.

Wow! Surprised after long day of travel from Cali, scrumptious food and helpful friendly staff that made solid recommendations. I have an executive chef at home (hubby) so am pretty picky eating out. Expected average hotel food, and was provided a great meal. I had the tender pot roast with buttery zucchini and summer squash, and fried ochra. Ochra was crispy, flavorful and delicious. It's a must try for anyone, rest of menu looks good. Double Thumbs up!

Good drinks and service! Hung out there before graduation and enjoyed our time. Interesting cocktail menu with good choices.

But spring break week flipped the script in the best way possible. Tonight, my wife and I met up with some good friends for a pre-retirement dinner, and with the college crowd scattered to the beaches, downtown felt like it belonged to us "seasoned locals" again. No lines, no crowds--just a quick call ahead and we were seated within minutes. That alone felt like a win. We started things off with the fried green tomatoes--a true Southern delicacy and, let's be honest, acid reflux's favorite dance partner. Worth it? Absolutely. These were hot, crispy, and full of flavor. The kind of dish that would make Grandma nod in approval. No shortcuts, just done right. For the entrée, I went with the UBK Pasta--blackened chicken, sausage, and shrimp tossed with corkscrew pasta probably crafted in a cast iron skillet. It came out hot and packed with flavor, carrying just the right amount of spice to keep things interesting without overwhelming the dish. Exactly how I like it. My wife stuck with a proven winner: the shrimp & grits. She's had it before, and once again, it delivered. Consistency matters, and this dish continues to hit the mark every time. Now, not everything was quite as smooth. Our waitress wasn't exactly channeling that warm Southern hospitality you hope for. Let's just say she wasn't "Miss Dolly" serving smiles with a side of charm. The service leaned a bit on the impatient side--subtle (and not-so-subtle) hints that our time at the table was up, including clearing drinks before we were even finished. At one point I joked about going to the restroom but worried I might come back to find my chair gone. Still, when the food is this good, it carries the experience. Urban Bar & Kitchen continues to deliver where it matters most--on the plate. The atmosphere was relaxed thanks to spring break timing, the food was as strong as ever, and the company made it even better. As for the service... maybe she was just ready for her own spring break reunion. Happens to the best of us. Final takeaway: Go for the food--it's consistently excellent. And if you can catch a quieter night like this one, even better.

The Quad deviled eggs were an interesting concept. Can't say I'd recommend them. The Signature 205 Dip was not good. It's made with 4 cheeses, but the cream cheese over powers the entire dish. The Stephy cocktail may not be something everyone likes, but I really enjoyed it. Dr. Pepper with bourbon sounds odd, but I loved it. Hopefully you made it this far. The Autumn Ember Dip was fantastic. It was by far the best item we had. If you don't order anything else from the menu, you have to get the dip!! You can't go wrong.

The server we had was pleasant and apologetic, but the wait time for our food (party of 6, but nothing too intricately ordered) was borderline unacceptable. We were on a time constraint due to a concert that night, and very nearly had to leave when half of our party hadn't even received our food yet. I had the "Elevated Burger", which was pretty good but nothing special. I had ordered onion rings as my side, and when my dish was finally served I had gotten fries instead- but again, too little time to raise a fuss. We all enjoyed our dinner, but the wait ate up any goodwill we had. The view, however, is fantastic especially as the sun begins to set. Maybe when I have more time to kill, I'll give 205 another shot but until I see an improvement in service it will not be a high priority.

First time at this spot, and my initial impression was positive. I would say, I love, love, love…read morethat they use Big Green Egg's inside the restaurant on the line. If you've never had meat (or VEGGIES!) cooked on a BGE, it will change your life. This fact alone will bring me back to try other things. Before I get into the meal, my only real complaint was that they only had a soda machine and tea. I had brought my mother along, and she already had lunch and wanted just to sit and chat. As it was a very cold day she was gonna order a coffee and they don't offer anything hot! It's definitely an opportunity to expand here even if it was just so simple as putting a Keurig machine in the back. I had the Buffalo Chicken Wrap. It is served with grilled chicken in a grilled wrap and cheddar cheese. If there was a buffalo sauce, I didn't taste any. I was a little disappointed in the wrap. The flavor didn't really stand out as being cooked on the Big Green Egg. The cheese wasn't really melted, which can be a common problem with shredded cheddar cheese, but it also didn't really have the buffalo flavor that I was looking for in a buffalo chicken wrap (maybe it was a Toledo Ohio wrap I don't know just not spicy. ) It served with a side of ranch which I juiced up with some Cholula and that helped. I i'm not knocking the quality of the food because it was good. It just didn't live up to the expectations I had in my head based on the menu description. It also came with a side, which I chose the broccoli salad. This was nicely done with bacon, I believe some quinoa and the broccoli was chopped up nicely so you didn't have huge chunks. Also, it wasn't overly sauced so that would make it runny. Overall I give the property four out five stars. Also, the flavor of the whole meal was fine. Good size portion and good value for your money.

This was perfectly fine with us, we just got to the restaurant earlier than originally planned since dinner wait times for a Saturday here can range from 20-45 minutes. Do not let this deter you though, the food is worth it. Luckily for us, we only waited about 15 minutes for a table for 4. Once seated, our waitress soon followed with menus and a pitcher of water. She was quite lovely and attentive. To start, we ordered their chips and salsa (although I do highly recommend the street corn if you are feeling something different). The salsa is great and tasted fresh! The chips had a nice texture, but definitely needed the salt we added to the bowl. It did not take long for any of our meals to come out once we ordered. I personally got the carnitas tostadas, which were amazing. I could only eat one cause they were piled high with toppings (and I ate too many chips before). The pork had great flavor and paired well with the other toppings. Warning though, the black beans here are great, but on the spicier side! This caught one of us by surprise at the table. Overall it was a great evening, and we were in and out quickly from the meal. Just be prepared to wait a little for dinner, and plan ahead for parking! And watch out for those beans!
