We had seen the menu and pictures of the food and was so looking forward to it. Server came very quickly and took our order and received our beverages. Over 30 minutes later we still had not received our food, all the tables around us had. We asked one server that walked by if they could check and they went on to the front and never came back. We flagged down the manager and he said he would check. About 5 minutes later we had our food. No apologies from anyone. When we tasted the food, you could tell it had been re-warmed. Can not tell you about food quality as re-heated food does not have the same fresh. The reason I tell you of the times it took as we were at the back table right before the kitchen where you can see the clock. You might want to turn the clock so the patrons cannot see how long it is taking you to get their food. I can tell you it was not worth it. Do not waste your money. If you want re-heated food, you can get it at any fast-food restaurant without waiting 30 minutes for it. read more

I really wanted to like this place but my experience was tainted by the waitress at the Winter Park location. She dropped off the food and I asked my Grandmother if that was what she ordered because I believed she ordered something different, I did not have any tone or anything, I was just double checking because I thought her eggs were mine. This was our 1st visit and I really liked the feature of the waitlist inside the Yelp app. We decided on this restaurant and when I looked it up, I was not sure what it meant having not seen the feature before. We started with a half order of the biscuit beignets. How unique and I wish I had a full order. The beignets were delicious and we enjoyed the marmalade served with them. Onto breakfast and we ordered french toast, pumpkin waffles with sausage / eggs and I had the lobster and brie omelet topped with tomatoes and scallions. My family enjoyed their meals. My first time and I was not overly impressed. While the food was good, they were out of Black breakfast tea. In my opinion a breakfast restaurant should never be out of black tea. Imagine not have black coffee and only flavored?! Earl Gray or herbal teas dont do for me in the morning. I will definitely give them another try--to be fair. But three Stars is the best I can do today. Follow-up: I received a phone call from the manager apologizing for the lack in their part. I assured him I loved everything else about their restaurant. I just love this place! I've been a quazi-regular here for years, and they never disappoint. And.... On our last visit, we found out that they have an extensive gluten free menu! Hallelujah!! It is the Monterey chicken omelet. I love it! Note that I sub regular eggs for egg whites. Also, I figured out that I prefer it with the sauce on the side because the second time I got it it was too saucey. The fruit that comes with the meal is a step up from most places with berries, pineapple, and watermelon. A little secret... Get a half order of the biscuit beignets. The only saving grace were the grits I took home and doctored with some butter. I never got a picture of my brothers food because he took a bite of the omelet, stated"You gotta be kidding me" and tossed it in the trash. On vacation and looking forward to a brunch in a local cafe. As a Member if the Yelp community we used Yelp to guide us as to where to eat. We found this restaurant on Yelp and we were really excite d to see that they had a option to join the wait list. We put our name on the waitlist and grabbed a seat on the patio to await our table. We started brunch with cocktails Black cherry mimosa, Blood orange bourbon sour and then Abe Famous infused Bloody Mary all of the cocktails were outstanding Then we moved on to Beignets with Orange marmalade they make on site. The beignets were covered with powdered sugar and the were warm and moist, the marmalade was the perfect finishing touch. So much for the diet. I ordered chicken and waffles. It came with Chipotle Honey but I chose to eat them with the Orange Marmalade which might just be my favorite way to eat chicken tenders now.. My friend order the Gluten Free Mixed Berry pancake and said it was wonderful. Which I am told is not often the case with anything gluten free. She also ordered fresh fruit and bacon. The bacon was perfect and flavorful and crisp. All and all the service was top notch and the servings were large. None of the meals we ordered got completely eaten. My family and I specifically look for this small restaurant chain when we visit Florida on vacation. The main reason why we come to Another Broken Egg Cafe is for their gluten-friendly breakfast options such as their pancakes. My wife has a gluten allergy and this restaurant has some awesome selections. The service is also spectacular and our server Sydney was so awesome! She was able to take our party of 8 special orders perfectly! She was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed! The food was delicious and the coffee was a nice dark roast which was really good. We love this place and highly recommend it! The only thing we noticed that was a bit annoying was how loud the restaurant is when it's full with people. The acoustics are challenging because of the hard floor and open room seating.
