I can't say enough about this place the food is some of the best in the city!! Best burger I've ever had! I love everything from the drinks to the cakes! 10/10

As a nonlocal wandering and lost by Lake Eola, a barista from Deeply Cafe suggested we check out Briarpatch in Winter Park. They were rightfully packed solid on a Sunday afternoon. We got lucky with bar seating, starting off with the Coco espresso -- kahlua coffee liqueur, bailey's irish cream, tito's vodka, coconut, espresso. I went with avocado toast topped with smoked salmon. My partner in crime went with the California Benedict with home fries. Briarpatch serves up an iconic from-scratch brunch in a beautiful part of town that was unknown to us until now. The crew is passionate. This is a landmark.

We can't come here and not get the short rib Benedict it's just so delicious. Briarpatch never disappoints, the service is great and the food is amazing. It gets a little tight in there as they really pack people in but it's so worth it.

This is one of my favorite restaurants for brunch in Winter Park! In fact, I've stopped in twice in the last three weeks. I bought a friend from New York who was visiting and she loved it. She requested if they could make her a Chunky Chicken Salad sandwich, rather than the salad on the menu. They obliged and even gave her a Bleu Cheese Caesar salad on the side. Briarpatch knows how to impress as well as cater to the needs of the customer! I ordered one of my favorites, the Brown Rice Bowl and it was fresh and more than filling for lunch. Various flavored mimosas were enjoyed also. I went again last week with local friends as all three of us enjoy this place (and its mimosas!!) One friend tried the Chunky Chicken Salad on the menu (seasonal fruits and berries with zucchini bread sandwiches) and commented on the presentation (which Briarpatch is also well known for) and the freshness of the fruit. She especially enjoyed the zucchini sandwiches! Her husband ordered the Roast Beef Sandwich as it is one of his favorites on the menu. He devoured every bite of it and was very pleased with the tenderness of the beef and the flavor of the au jus. I ordered the Short Rib Benedict as I eyed it a few weeks back. It did not disappoint! Plenty of shredded, perfectly cooked short rib was on a bed of crispy hash browns. Two poached eggs covered in hollandaise sauce sat nicely on top of this amazing dish. It was heaven! Based on the above, I trust you can understand why I love this place. Outdoor seating, exemplary service each and every time I visit and food that is picture-perfect and tastes outstanding. What more could you ask for?! I highly recommend the Briarpatch!

Briarpatch is one of my fav brunch spots and it never disappoints. Today we opted to sit outside on the patio. The server was super nice and got our food to us pretty fast. Our Peach Bellini's tasted great and for our entree we ordered the Short Rib Benedict with a side on Pancakes with fresh Fruit. The short rib was so tender and flavorful and the pancakes were light and fluffy, a perfect combo of sweet and salty. As always great service and food, and because of that I'll always come back.

Went there around lunch time and this place was busy. Both inside & outside tables were occupied. But we were seated right away and our server Taylor was great. I noticed their servings were big as we walked to our table & noticed cakes in the fridge. I ordered the dark chocolate pancakes bcoz it sounded good. I'm giving my order a four star bcoz the chocolate chip overwhelmed the whole pancakes right away. It got way too sweet even before I poured the maple syrup & couldn't taste the banana. That was a small (sliced) banana by the way. And it wasn't chunk of chocolate but tiny chocolate chips. My niece like her order of the Italian dip sandwich. Next time we're in the area, we'll try different things on the menu.

Haven't been to Briarpatch in over a decade! I wouldn't dare go on the weekend and battle the crowd, but today was my husband's birthday on a random Wednesday, so we decided to give it a go. We got there around lunch time and to our surprise, there was no wait, and we were seated right away inside. There's also seating outside on Park Ave, but that's usually the more popular option so there might have been a short wait for an outdoor table. The inside was more bright & spacious than I remembered. I started with the Spring Spritz (gin, aperol, prosecco, lemon, & strawberry rhubarb jam) and my hubs got a the bananas foster iced latte. Both were super refreshing & tasty. We were both feeling brunch food so he went with the short rib eggs benedict which was incredible, and I got the Gruyère & ham breakfast sandwich with a side of bacon. The sandwich was also very good and it has a crispy hash brown patty on it which adds some extra crunch. Their portions are huge! We even had leftovers. We would have loved to also share something from the griddle which they're really known for here (like their raspberry & Brie French toast), but we were just way too full. The service was also top notch and super quick. We couldn't believe how fast our food came out. They're definitely operating like a well-oiled machine which is necessary for Winter Park's top breakfast/brunch destination. It's pricey for brunch food, though that's to be expected on the Avenue. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised and I'm glad to find it's not just an overhyped spot after all these years.

    Blueberry lemon cream pancakes

Southern hospitality? Yeah.. not happening at Briarpatch restaurant. We're just passing thru, I'm not even sure where we are. Winter Park, has a Southampton vibe with its brick streets and boutique shops. I'm looking for a nice breakfast spot, Briarpatch restaurant has 2000 positive reviews, it seems like a safe bet so I set the nav to pancakes and off we go. Briarpatch restaurant is beautiful and very busy. The four of us are seated and are given menus. Breakfast for me is easy peasy, blueberry lemon squeezey. The blueberry pancakes for me are a solid choice. My wife and her sister order chicken sausage. My wife asked for egg whites, not a problem ma'am. Our plates come out, the egg whites? Do y'all know about egg whites? There should be no trace of yolks, just egg whites. I'm not sure how no one saw this but the entree was dotted with yolks. My wife asked the waitress to send her plate back. The waitress said she couldn't?? Never once said: I am so sorry, can I get you something else? We're all hearing this banter, now my wife asks for the manager. The manager comes over with the same deal. I understand ma'am the egg whites have yolk in them. We still have to half charge for the sausage. What the heck is going on?! I must point out, the chicken sausage was the worst sausage we ever had, with waaaay too much cumin. Burnt on the outside and dry on the inside. Ultimately, they took my wife's order off the bill but she was still hungry! Just poor customer service but the biggest standout? This is not a cheap spot! I think the Park Avenue address has Briarpatch Restaurant thinking it's ok to charge a higher price? In all fairness, My pancakes as I posted on my picture, were cooked perfectly. They tasted great with no issues from me. No one needs a hassle for breakfast. I assumed I found a nice, out of the way spot while on vacation. In the end, I had to stop at another restaurant for my wife. Thumbs down from me.

There's a reason there is always a line and it's because this is literally the perfect place to have brunch. It's definitely worth the wait. It gets super crowded, but nonetheless nothing beats the food. Cinnamon rolls 10/10- everything you could want a more from a cinnamon roll. Just enough frosting just the way we like it. Pancakes 9/10/ super fluffy and tasty Smoked Salmon Benedict 8/10 with crispy fries + garlic aoli sauce (upcharge) - everything's an upcharge and no substitutions allowed as they pre-craft everything it seemed like. They have brunch specials, there was this sausage hasbrown egg sandwich which came with home fries & it was super crispy as well. Side of hash-browns were also super crispy and delish. Fried tomatoes are a must try here if you like tomatoes, it comes with a side of a cilantro sauce.. California Benedict is also a great choice the Hollandaise sauce on top was delish. Staff was good, checked in on us a few times, it was super busy inside. Ambiance: Beautiful location, seating is a bit tight so for bigger parties, maybe make a reservation ahead of time. Parking garage just across the street on levels 4-5 free parking as well as street parking if you're lucky. Great location to walk around after as well.

Had a tasty lunch here earlier this week and it was the first time I had their burger. My friend ordered the two patties on her burger and I got the single patty. I have to say the single patty was better than the two. A lot juicier and richer in flavor in my opinion. I inhaled the fries. I also drank a banana bread latte and that was super tasty! The server said that it was on the sweet side but I found it very balanced and not too sweet at all. This was my first time not getting breakfast and I was pleasantly surprised. The burgers are actually quite large so shareable if you're not super hungry. Outdoor dining was great. Service was great as well.

This highly recommended and we were pleased. We ordered Southern breakfast - grits was really good . Steak eggs - eggs and steak taste delicious and high quality proteins. And Very berry french toast - OMG moist , sweet and so delicious my favorite item . I can back for another visit on this French toast. I was also told you can split this half portion but it's almost the same price . Our waitress was attentive and recommended some options to us as well. The ambiance is a nice chill spot . You are able to have conversation just know you will be waiting in line to be seated . For reservations please booked week or two weeks out if are going to visit this restaurant.

love the Briarpatch! Came back for lunch and got the tuna melt special. It was good! A little bit heavy on the lemon but overall a great meal! My sisters got the burgers and loved it! Service was great and quick and the vibe is unmatched! Such a staple.

I wish I knew his name, but I loved his service. The wine and the espresso martini were really good. My girlfriend, especially like the espresso martini and its blend of liquor with the tartness. In terms of the food, it was all really wonderful. The chicken and dumplings came with this delicious sauce that I couldn't get enough off. The potato dumplings were alright, but the seasoning and mix of the sauce was perfect for the chicken. The serving size was good as well and there was barely any bone to interrupt eating it. My girlfriend said that the steak was cooked perfectly medium as they asked. The steak sauce paired really well, and they had enough for leftovers, and enjoyed it even more the day after. The Mac & cheese was alright, we just wish there had been more of a crunch to the cheese. However, we both really liked the shape of the pasta as we don't really see those as often. Also not depicted here, but we got the cocktail shrimp. My girlfriend loved this one too, specifically noting how large and cold the shrimps were. The cocktail sauce was delicious and had a nice kick to it, and definitely squeeze the lemon that comes with it on the shrimp. Since it was an anniversary, they surprised us with complimentary dessert that was phenomenal. My girlfriend doesn't really like cheesecake or coconut, but somehow loved the dessert. It's an off menu item but it blends coconut, cheesecake, and a brownie.

The steak frites are just as magnificent as my boyfriend and I remembered. Have you ever had a food memory? Years ago, my dad made the best steak I've ever had. He passed away when I was a kid, and two summers ago, when I took my first bite of the steak here, my mouth watered... but so did my eyes. It was one of the strangest, most beautiful experiences I've ever had at a restaurant. For a moment, it felt like Dad was sitting at the table with us. They packed a nice little kick without overwhelming the dish, and we practically inhaled them. Of course, we had to finish the meal the same way we did last time: with churros. Somehow they were even better than we remembered. Crispy, warm, perfectly sweet, exactly the kind of dessert that makes you argue over who gets the last bite. My boyfriend ordered two Old Fashioneds, and I had two Cosmos. Both were delicious and definitely generous on the pour. I was a little concerned when we arrived for our 8:00 p.m. reservation because the place was PACKED for a Thursday night. We ended up waiting a bit past our reservation time. The hostess suggested we grab a drink at the bar, but that area was just as crowded, so we hung out in the lobby instead. The wait ended up being completely worth it because we were seated at the exact table I was secretly hoping for: the most perfect little corner window booth, straight out of a movie scene. It was the ideal setting for our last night of vacation. And then there was our server, Anton. Anton could teach a master class on waiting tables. He was efficient, funny, attentive without hovering, knowledgeable without being pretentious, and genuinely seemed to enjoy what he was doing. In a world where great service sometimes feels like a lost art, Anton was an absolute delight. The Ravenous Pig delivered once again: phenomenal food, excellent cocktails, memorable service, and one of those meals you'll still be talking about long after you've gone home. Although Emily told us she has only been working as a server here for the last two weeks, I think she will have a great run at this location. She has an effervescent personality and was easy to talk to and laugh with, which she displayed to all of her customers. Obviously, we became good friends with her throughout the night. Emily allowed us to have a tasting of various wines to determine which one we would like to select for the evening. We went with the Adelsheim Pinot Noir ($88 a bottle) to start the night. We ordered the Bacon Wrapped Dates (serving of three), the Burrata (a combination of cheese, basil pesto, tomatoes and balsamic dijon vinaigrette on wood grilled ciabatta bread), the Tuna Crudo (seared ahi tuna with cucumbers, pineapple and cilantro) and a board consisting of Spanish style salame and aged Gouda cheese. The board also had roasted almonds and honeycomb, along with the bread. As the night continued, we ordered another bottle of the Pinot Noir and a second helping of the fantastic Burrata. We appreciated the fact that we were not rushed from our table as we were allowed to have a relaxing and enjoyable evening of great conversation. At the end of the night, Emily provided us with a slice of olive oil citrus cake on the house. (What a thoughtful touch!) It was a heavenly ending to the evening and went well with our wine selection. From the moment the food hit the table, everything looked as good as it tasted. The Margherita pizza was outstanding--perfectly blistered wood-fired crust with a light, airy chew, fresh mozzarella, bright tomato sauce, and basil that let every ingredient shine. Simple, authentic, and executed flawlessly. The chicken sandwich was equally impressive. The chicken was crispy without being greasy, topped with fresh mozzarella and tomato on soft, fresh bread. Paired with perfectly seasoned crispy fries, it made for an excellent lunch. The espresso martini was the perfect finishing touch--smooth, rich, and beautifully balanced with a creamy foam that coffee lovers will appreciate. The outdoor patio on Park Avenue creates a relaxed atmosphere that's perfect for people-watching while enjoying an authentic Italian meal. Service was attentive without feeling rushed, and the quality of the ingredients was evident in every bite. If you're looking for some of the best wood-fired pizza in Central Florida, Prato is absolutely worth the visit. Whether you're stopping in for lunch, date night, or drinks with friends, it's easy to see why Prato has become a Winter Park favorite known for its modern Italian cuisine and lively atmosphere.

Great service and great food!…read more My friends and I dined in here to celebrate my friends belated birthday. We made a reservation and got seated in a large booth inside. I ordered a cucumber rain martini and once I received it, I noticed the glass had a chip around the edge, potentially causing glass shards in the cocktail, so I informed my server and she had the bar make me a new cocktail in a new glass. I built my own turkey burger on a lettuce wrap and paired it with sweet potato fries. The turkey burger wasn't too dry, and I paired it with honey mustard. Our server was very sweet and personable and we enjoyed her service! Loved this experience. The parking in this plaza is always a nightmare with how many business there are in the area, but we snagged a parking spot behind the regal!

They provide a dry erase menu to build your burger or you can do one of the preset menu items on the opposite side. The food came out quickly and was made exactly as ordered. I tried the truffle fries with my order but felt that the plain fries would have been a good choice as well. The service was excellent and the location has a lot of windows with natural light as well as outdoor seating. Definitely would go back and have another.

We got the chicken sandwich, brussel sprouts, and steak special to share with a cocktail each. The brussel sprouts were not the crispy kind like most restaurant serve but were pretty good considering. The chicken and steak were delicious and drinks were refreshing. I think Hillstone is nice for an occasion but be prepared to spend a good bit for your meal.

The freshly squeezed grapefruit juice was absolutely perfect, not bitter, not sour, just right. The spinach and artichoke dip is honestly one of the best in town. It is so smooth and creamy, almost like they blend everything together so there are no big chunks. I could eat that dip alone and leave happy. Haha. For my main I had the pan seared trout topped with rock shrimp and it came with the most delicious slightly sweet coleslaw on the side. My fiancé ordered the rotisserie chicken with wild rice pilaf and it was equally amazing. Everything about this lunch was on point. Hillstone is consistent and that's why we keep coming back.

I also love that there's live music in the evenings. You can't go wrong with the food. Anything you order is delicious. I enjoy the Brie appetizer and duck on French bread. I'm a big fan of the salmon tacos and seafood pasta They are usually a wine and beer bar but at this location they offer very limited mix drinks in collaboration with a local bar. The service is always spectacular and I love Tino. He's the coolest owner who loves manning the bar. It's a great place for a date, girl's night or just unwinding. I love the vibe. Since it's downtown Winter Park, there should be plenty of parking. My new go-to spot!

Got sat right away and the hostess said she'll bring some menus over. One of the TVs next to us was time lagged and had to watch a further television for the latest up-to-date action. The ambiance wasn't a sports crowd here so we just had a snack and decided to go to the Irish pub afterwards for more soccer fan action. Over half the people weren't even watching the TVs or didn't seem to know that this is the final FIFA game They had some specials today and wondering so bc everyone around us got wings but didn't see it on the menu. Got the wings and they were fantastic. I didn't like the thai sauce so much so was glad to have that on the side. Ask for a ranch but received blue cheese, didn't know until I found a big hunk of blue cheese in there but I didn't mind that, it just lacked flavor. I liked how they did only celery and no carrots for I enjoy that more when accompanying chicken wings. The tacos that were seen looked pretty good and was considering them Kentucky bourbon barrel ale and Black widow NA cider were nicely presented in cold glasses and complimented the wings well Good service, and got checked up on regularly. Just had to grab her for the check before the halftime started
