Both were excellent jobs - this week Kyle did an extremely thorough inspection and gave us a very clear run down of his findings - as well as winging the report over to us within 24 hours - and all for a seemingly very reasonable fee. Pillar to post probably aren't the people to use if you're buying an older home and need a full engineering / foundation report etc - but for checking over a new build I can't fault them at all. I hope we don't have to move for aggeessss but if we do I'd use them again in a heartbeat.

I was about to let my 2 year old and 3 year old outside to play when I noticed a man (Aaron Wedemeyer - TREC Professional Inspector #26252) in my yard looking at electrical equipment. He had bypassed a secured gate to get onto the property, didn't have the access code, and never contacted me for permission. After confirming he was not authorized to be on the property, I asked him to leave. Instead, he chose to remain on the property while attempting to obtain authorization to inspect a neighboring unit. As a parent and homeowner, it's unsettling to find a stranger on your property, especially when young children are about to head outside. Access controls and property boundaries exist for a reason. I'd expect a professional inspector to coordinate access and obtain permission before entering a secured property, not enter first and ask questions later (especially in Texas).
