He spotted small unassuming things that upon looking deeper meant something more serious. We are buying a house and new to Texas. Since the house was previously a rental, we were worried about what problems might be hiding that we can't see, so we wanted a really thorough inspection so we knew what we are getting into. I am very disappointed with David from a complete inspection. He made promises he didn't keep and then stopped responding to my emails. David made a very big mistake during my home inspection, the damage was calculated at $826. I documented this with photos. Initially he argued and tried to deny this, but after reviewing video evidence from our nest camera, it was obvious he was at fault... and he agreed to pay me the full amount of the damage he caused. Later, he only paid a portion of that damage, but promised to make me payments each month. Well, the payments never came and David stopped responding to my emails. It has now been months. What poor character and no integrity. Should you trust this man to be in your home? Can you trust him when he makes promises? Can you trust him to make things right? Can you trust him to do what he says? Can you trust him to not dodge you? I hope he doesn't cause you the same loss as me... I am out hundreds of dollars. read more

David was extremely thorough, very reasonably priced, easy to schedule (despite our builder making it as difficult as possible), and provided all completed paperwork very quickly so I was able to get it back to our builder in a time crunch. After experiencing on going issues with our builder's flooring contractor, it gave us peace of mind to close on a home we knew there were issues with. David identified several issues we were able to have remedied that we would have never even known were an issue if not for his insight. First time home buyer here. I could not have asked for a better inspection experience. With the holidays being right in the middle of the period between bidding and closing, I thought it might be impossible to get the utilities turned on at the house and schedule an inspection. David worked with me and came out on a Sunday. Opening up with an overview of the inspection process, David included me in every step of the inspection, which took about 2.5 hours. He was happy to answer any questions I had, and recognizing that I was a first time home buyer, made extra effort to suggest tips like how to keep the clay under the foundation wet to avoid future foundation problems, how to clean my clothes dryer vents, and how to prolong the life of roof fixtures that might need to be replaced soon. I felt very confident in the information he gave me, and even when there were problems found, he gave me detailed information on what repair actions needed to be taken, and what I needed to tell a repair person about the problem. At times he spoke candidly, giving tips on how one might fix a problem themselves. I am pretty handy when it comes to repairs, and I don't feel like what he mentioned was out of my element. (He didn't suggest I do anything dangerous, but small fixes to small problems). The report was in my inbox (and my agent's inbox) 2 days later...the day after Christmas. His fee was competitive...I wasn't able to find a cheaper quote. All in all, I would recommend David and AComplete to anyone. read more

Incredible! Seriously...incredible work! As a local real estate investor that focuses on foreclosures, I need the best inspector on the planet and I finally found the one. After using multiple inspectors in the Austin area and never being very impressed, I was directed to David by my agent. What most inspectors would have spent 2 hours on, David stuck it out 4 full hours and into the dark to make sure we knew all the hidden secrets of what was going to end up being a TERRIBLE investment purchase. He attacked this house like he had a personal vendetta against it, and it paid off well with a weighty 38 page report!!! Holy Smokes! Most reports I got in the past from other inspectors were 14 pages, despite the condition of the property being poor. Ultimately, David saved me about $35,000 and countless days of frustration by uncovering all the flaws of the property. Also, I wanted a termite inspection and he arranged for his guy Harvey to come out. He also did a great job and was very pleasant to work with. My relator told me that compared to many inspectors out there David was very knowledgeable and went the extra mile to make sure we were happy. The prices were great also, it was $250 for the home inspection plus $25 for the sprinkler inspection (2100 sq foot house built in 2007). The termite inspection was an additional $70. ~$350 is much better than many of the places I was trying to book an inspection from. I just got lucky that the ones my relator recommended were booked and I got on yelp to find David. read more
