If I could give zero stars I would. Shockingly disappointed with service. Wait staff was rude, carried a "too-good-for-this" attitude and was blatantly sloppy and lazy in their delivery. We used Anoush for our wedding and we are so glad we did! We highly recommend and enjoyed working with Haik. He was clear, communicative, and understanding of the 2020 COVID wedding situation and gave us time and flexibility to make changes we needed. There is no reason to spend $50-$100 per plate at your wedding and the guests barely get fed when you can feed them a delicious and filling meal from Anoush. One of the top things we heard from our guests is that they really enjoyed the food and they wondered who made it. For us that is a huge compliment since Romanians really like their wedding food. We ordered from the ToGo menu for buffet style and it arrived from Los Angeles to Orange County fresh and piping hot, ready to serve. Anoush has my highest recommendation for large event catering! Thank you Haik and Carlo for the perfect execution of service at my 240 person wedding at the California Science Center. Anoush is known for their delicious food and gorgeous banquet halls, so I considered them for my wedding. I had selected a venue that doesn't usually host weddings and the venue had very strict requirements. Because of this, I was limited to only the premier catering companies in Los Angeles. After meeting with these companies, Anoush was the clear choice--not only were their prices were the most reasonable for the amount of food and service we were asking, their business staff was incredibly professional. I felt confident in their team. Hakop was incredibly knowledgable of the business. We followed all of his recommendations. Haik was the event manager and was super helpful and responsive over email. He answered all of my and my venue's questions. He was present in every meeting. Carlo was the on site manager. He had attended a walkthrough beforehand, and was present for the final meetings. He assembled a great team for the day of. I'm extremely picky and a perfectionist, so it means a lot to me to feel like I was in good hands. I did not stress at all about Anoush because I knew they were going to execute perfectly. We are so glad we chose Anoush to cater our wedding and for all of our rentals. We got married at Adamson House, which is a very challenging venue to work with because of all of their rules and there is no kitchen there. Team Anoush brought everything they needed and made the food onsite and it was DELICIOUS. Our guests have still not stopped raving about the food. The staff was wonderful as well, always smiling and working hard. The rentals were just as expected and the staff set everything up perfectly. The interior decor was beautiful and the food was delicious to say the least. I attended my grand nephew's wedding on March 14, 2015, at Le Foyer Ballroom...There has been 3 weddings in our family that we still talk about when the subject of weddings comes up in family gatherings. The first one was mine back in 1968 wherein we had 500 guests, then there was my nephew's, and then my son's back in 2000......well this one will top them all off by the mere fact that the venue was beautiful and the food was excellent and abundant. The servers were wonderful and accommodating. Whoever was there that day to take charge and to make sure things were being taken care of, like making sure the water from the fogging machine was taken up with towels asap...He was there, but not intrusive..... This wedding will be talked about for years to come and I really thank you for your professionalism at this occasion that was shown by your staff. I just wish that your corporate officers would consider having such a venue open in the Whittier area, we need something of this high-end quality. There is nothing in our area that would even begin to come close to being compared with this venue, service, food and staff. I attended a wedding reception on the 4th of July. The venue was beautiful but the very poor service from the servers caused frustration. They were Very inefficient. They would serve half of a table and rather than come back and serve the rest of the table, they would serve a completely different table then return to the table and serve the other half meanwhile the first half of guest were finishing up their food. This was my go-to place for all my events. I really liked their service so I decided to share it with all my friends and colleagues. So, I ordered over $700 worth of food ($30/person) for New Year's and it was a disaster!! They gave very small portions of food per plate. The salads were rushed and looked mediocre...I mean for half the price for each plate, you could have a feast anywhere else. These people work only for profit, they do not care about their customers. Our venue uses it's own caterer, and they switched to Anoush in the middle of our planning. We had a little difficulty getting in touch with them at first, but once everything got sorted out, they were great. Their food is delicious and plentiful. We had a family style dinner, which worked out really well, so that our guests didn't have to wait in line for a buffet, but still had a lot of options, and I didn't have to worry too much about people with food restrictions. The only downside to having a family style meal is that you can't really get a kids meal price unless you have a separate kids table, though we managed to get one table full of kids together. The night of the wedding, they were really quick to get food out and also very good about looking after the two of us while we mingled with our guests, which I really appreciated. I should start by saying the circumstances surrounding were unique; I had booked an OC venue unaware that I'd be forced to use their in-house catering, and being in the wedding industry myself I was embarrassed to have made such a gross oversight! As a first generation Armenian-American it was extremely important to honor my rich heritage and cultural traditions especially in regards to the food served, which if you know Mediterranean cuisine, is quite different than a standard plated meal..I fought tirelessly with my venue who finally allowed a one-time exception for David and his staff to impress them - IMPECCABLE is truly an understatement when describing their service ..they sacrificed so much of their time, even arriving an entire day prior to set up my tables, linens and flatware making sure it was just to my liking! On the day-of, David was more than prepared with ample waitstaff, professionally dressed with upbeat attitudes and smiles on their faces - their attention to detail throughout the evening was outstanding the Anoush staff was constantly waiting on our guests hand and foot, and before the ballroom doors opened David was seamlessly directing his staff to perfect each table - he was ready at the drop of a dime for anything that came his way! Anoush was the only approved vendor for catering services at the Middle Ranch Lodge (where I got married). I was a little nervous about not having any options for catering, but was pleasantly surprised when we got to the food tasting. Everything was delicious and there was definitely plenty to try. They were great about giving us time to complete a final timeline for the evening so that they knew when to bring food out, cut the cake, etc. I think the only point of confusion we had with them was in regards to the champagne tower. I'm not sure if they were supposed to set it us and then pass it out, or if guests were supposed to just start taking glasses (which is what ended up happening), but if that's the worst thing that happens, I'm happy. Not only was there tons of food for the guests (we did family style), but even the vendors (DJ/Photographer) were impressed with the fact they also had plenty to eat and it was good! We had our wedding back in May of 2014 and our guests are still raving about the food. There are so many choices so you are able to get exactly what you want. Everything was very fresh on the day of the wedding. I have been to many other wedding venues and the meat is dry and the hummus has been left out too long. Not the case here. They will change anything up that you need and are very accommodating. There is a lot of food but it's so good, you can't resist trying everything.
