This is the worst company EVER! Made an appt for roof estimate scheduled it but they NEVER showed up no call nothing!!! Called several times finally called office got a person who said will find out why never showed up but he never called finally talked to Aaron said he was sick so said sorry made BBC another appt he showed up then sent me email of estimate, I was very pleased with it so ask him to give me a down payment and payments so we can start project, so one month later still nothing from him!!! Hired ANR to fix a leak in a roof. Paid them $900. They promised me they'd taken care of the problem. After the next rain, the roof was still leaking. I called them to re-asses the situation & possibly give me a bid to replace the roof. They did not call me back. Emailed them through their website as well, & still, no response. I spoke with several local roofing companies before deciding to go with ANR. Aaron came out to explain the job, let me know what to expect and came in with the most reasonable estimate. I was impressed by his ability to communicate and his warm and positive attitude. The crew was wonderful. It took them about two and a half days to complete the job. We're remodeling the home we moved into in February. Turns out we desperately needed a new roof. On our contractor's recommendation we called ANR. Not only were they competitively priced, their work was absolutely top-notch. Aaron couldn't be nicer or more helpful..his crew worked hard AND, big bonus, completely cleaned up after themselves, down to blowing off the debris. These guys came out and replaced my roof. They did a great job. They showed up on time and got right to work and cleaned up at the end of the day. Three days later and I have a brand new roof. From start to finish the job was estimated and completed professionally. They gave us a good price compared with other estimates we got and they included getting and paying for the permits which was an added bonus. They were a day late on the completion and we had to go out of town and missed the final day and the gutter installation which I wasn't happy about, but the job was done properly. After one year, two new quotes, mysterious skylights which seem to vanish from their supplier's computer, telephone calls never returned, always an excuse as to why no one returns calls nor updates the time line to get the job done...we are now asking-- who can you turn to, to do a decent job ? Who communicates with the job site owners? What is so difficult about doing a roof, if that is your business? Very frustrated, depressed at the so-called "quality" of contractors in Marin/Sonoma. ANR Roofing provided us with a professional, competitive quote. We went with them as they are a family run business. The team tore off the old shingles and replaced them with a top quality "underlayment" and then the shingles. They recommended (and installed) low profile vents to improve circulation in the attic and garage, and I'm glad we did. The project went without a hitch - no surprises. The team was very efficient and neat. I immediately felt the impact of having a new roof - provides excellent insulation, hugely reduced traffic noise, and knowing the quality workmanship and materials will last a life time! Be careful with ANR Roofing. I had a very bad experience with them. This is my first negative review on Yelp ever, but I felt this experience warranted such a review. I hired them to fix a leak in our roof, one that was dripping water into our living room. At this point, they have been here 4 or 5 times (which I give them credit for) but they did not actually fix the leak... same leak, exact same spot every time it rains. Sure, I know leaks can be tricky but at each stage in the process and with each charge, they expressed how confident they were in that particular fix. In the process, they didn't show up at all for appointments and they didn't return calls or texts about a third of the time. I never quite knew if they were ever going to respond. On the last visit two weeks ago, they said they thought they finally found the source of the leak (an actual hole in the roof which somehow they never saw before) but they are now again unresponsive and have left me hanging. Before writing this review, I wrote to them to say I was frustrated... again no response. I'm having to hire another roofer, who after their inspection said they would need to re-do all of ANR's work (such as removing tiles and clearing the channel again) and, of course, actually seal the hole. We're having to start from scratch, although I'm out $1100 now spent on ANR. What a bad experience. read more

I just had a roof installed by these wonderful folks. Their bid was more than reasonable, they were prompt and got the job done well and quickly. I have been trying to find a roofer for over a year. As everyone knows, if you need any sort of work done, the fire repairs are taking all the workers and the ones that will actually come and give you a bid know they can charge enormous amounts because "you need them". This company's bid was HALF the price of another bid. And, I might add, they were the only ones to actually follow through with their service. There were a couple of add ons for unforeseen issues, but they were very fair with their additional quotes. No complaints at all! If you are looking for a good roofer....call them!! read more
