have a hard time writing this review because I liked Dr. Kaur. It's TERRIBLE what they did to me. I wasn't a patient of Dr Kaurs very long. I saw her in person 1x and then moved and had 3 telehealth visits all over the course of a 2 years This is what happened.
i was supposed get an MRI of my breast in May after my mammo showed some results that they weren't sure about. I am a single mother of 2 babies & my babysitter ended up in the hospital & I couldn't go. When I finally was able to go, my pre auth expired & I needed another. When I called Dr. Kaur, her "office manager" gave me such a hard time about sending another. I had to BEG him. He didn't want to do a THING for me. I understand it was an inconvenience that I couldn't go the 1st time but I refuse to leave my babies with a complete stranger as a babysitter. There was ZERO compassion or desire to help me get this MRI. He didn't care at all. Finally after begging him & telling him he can BILL ME FOR ANY EXTRA TIME...I didn't care I was willing to pay him. He finally sent another for me, FOR THE WRONG TYPE OF MRI. Same, the office manager didn't want to be bothered FIXING HIS MISTAKE or dealing with my situation and threatened that I should find another doctor and I said no that I liked Dr Kaur. I Finally got the approval from the insurance and was trying to schedule the MRI. Dr Kaurs office stated they never got the approval. So I told them I would have the insurance company send it again and I would call in a week to see if they received it. The girl said sure no problem and if that doesn't work, we'll start with getting an ultrasound and maybe if we go in special steps the insurance would be okay with it. I assured her it was approved and that I would get the paperwork to them. About a week and half later I called to see if they received the approval. She asked the office manager and I was told No still didn't get it and as of January 1st they are no longer accepting my insurance. Which was a BLATANT LIE because my friend also goes to Dr. Kaur and has the same insurance as I do. He was not notified of any change and is still able to make appointments with them. I just can't believe that office staff could be SO LAZY. It's not like I have a cold... I could possibly have CANCER and they are just washing their hands of me and will no longer help me.
Then... on top of all of this he refused to send me my medical records and wanted me to go to the office with a USB drive.. YOU are the one who is dismissing me as a patient and then you won't even give me my records? I can't believe you can want to look me in the eyes after what you did to me!!!! The office manager is LAZY, INCONSIDERATE AND A REAL JERK. I saw other reviews on here about him and how he treated 2 other people the SAME way. It's ashame that Dr Kaur ALLOWS this to go on because she really was nice & a good doctor. The way her staff treats the patients is a reflection on her as a doctor and in my opinion what they did to me is pretty close to malpractice.
Like I said, this is not a cold. I could potentially have CANCER and you are too damn lazy to help me by making a few phone calls? My last call with the office manager was in fact me releasing my emotions and telling him what I really thought about him. He was accusing me of threatening the office but all I told him was what I thought of HIM. 2 words.,, starts with a M and the second starts with an F... and he is 100% THAT.
DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE! God forbid you ever have hiccups in life, THEY DO NOT CARE. Your health and well being SHOULD BE important to your doctor and IT IS NOT at this office. You want to know that you are in good hands if you ever have an issue with insurance and YOU ARE NOT here. You don't want to end up in the same position as me. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I haven't even mentioned the appointments I was supposed to have with Dr Kaur where no one ever called me... and when I called the office they told me "oh no we called you to cancel. Dr Kaur left early." NOONE CALLED ME read more
