The first thing I heard was that those who were doing the occupational and physiotherapy really pushed and within a couple days they were able to get improved mobility. There were some older patients periodically making a lot of unpleasant noise but, apart from that, our friend felt the experience was much better than it could have been, and she felt she definitely had good care. It's not a large place, but the view out the window ought to be healing in and of itself.

They never made me seem like i was just another random walking in and it felt more like a general doctor office versus urgent care. I get the vibe most urgent care facilities want you in and out as quick as possible. This place made me feel like I was a human being. They listened to me, gave me a ton of feedback and truly tried to cover everything when trying to get me better. I had gotten really sick with that nasty whatever respiratory infection going around right before Christmas (oh I know, wonderful right?) fast forward to this past Wednesday Jan 14 when I went in. Mind you, I've already seen 2 other doctors and went to another urgent care prior to this. I'd already been on meds which didn't help. I hadn't been able to lay down to sleep in almost 2 weeks (I'd wake up coughing not able to breathe well). Long story short, I was super sick. I came in and was greeted by a wonderfully friendly staff. I'm sorry, I didn't get their names but they were wonderful. I was taken back (gosh I wanna say her name was Crystal? I'm sorry, I was still yucko and not remembering right) and immediately they got to work asking questions and truly listening. Some places make you feel rushed and cut you off. They listened to everything. I was given an xray, breathing treatment and a swab up my nose for testing. They also tried to offer a shot that would also help me, but I declined. They were super sweet about it though. Tried to persuade me but in a friendly way and when I still said no, they didn't make me feel bad about it. No judgment whatsoever. After my treatments I got some new meds and a plan. A special shout to Dr Michael Gales because he was one of the nicest doctors I've met in a while. I wish he were my regular doctor! You know how doctors offices say they'll call you back, they ACTUALLY CALLED ME BACK! Dr Gales called me with my xray results and even asked how I was doing after my treatments I had. Today, he called me again with my results for my nose swab. I genuinely felt like he cared I was getting better. Although I'm not all the way better, I was finally able to lay down to sleep. I'm telling you, it's the small things in life we take for granted. To literally everyone working at Summit Urgent Care, thank you so much. So very much for caring about me and trying to get me better. I wish I could write thank yous to every last one of you. I hope I don't need to see you guys frequently, but if I do at least I know I'll be getting the utmost support from a wonderful team. Would beyond recommend them to anyone out here. My only ding on them is I wish they weren't an urgent care and just a general doctor office. I'd go regularly! Thank you guys, thank you!

No .. you should go up to the ER instead was the reply. They do triage there. Yes I know. They do triage at all ER. They sweetly made it clear they didn't want to see me so I left. Look I get it, you don't want to stay late. But you denied me care. This was a pulled muscle and a cat bite not an ER issue. I was in a lot of pain and couldn't go driving around trying to find somewhere else to go. I spent hours at an ER for a non-emergent issue and paid hundreds of dollars. When you call about your prescription your information is taken and if you do not follow up, nothing happens, your PRESCRIPTION dies right there. Days later When you call back regarding your PRESCRIPTION mysteriously you are told there's no record of you ever calling. Then the games start, "well did you get the name of the person that you spoke with, the date and time of your call"? SAY WHAT??? SERIOUSLY ??? My apologies, I did not know I had to go to this extent to have a PRESCRIPTION refilled!!!! Micromanaging your operation to get my prescriptions is not something I'm used to. This seems to be a trend lately. Unless you call days sometimes weeks ahead of time to let them know your prescription needs to be refilled it simply goes unanswered. You have to micromanage; calling the doctor, calling back a day later confirming they received your phone call the previous day (often several times) and actually calling the pharmacist to confirm that they received the information from the doctor, then the allotted time required for your pharmacist to fill the prescription. All this just to get a prescription filled by HDMG it's ridiculous. All of this has to be completed BEFORE, your PRESCRIPTION runs out. Now when the system breaks down and believe me it will, as the employees are inconsistent informing the doctor about your refill. You have to go through this process all over again. It's truly sad this level of medical care has depreciated to refill one PRESCRIPTION!!!!! There is always some excuse why the HDMG PRESCRIPTION refill process did not happen. Over and over and over month after month it keeps getting worse!!!!! I've been with the same doctor for many many years and wIth the switch to HDMG is where and when all the problems started. Over the past few years the selected few great employees who truly helped patients from the support staff have left! When my doctors leave I'm leaving this place faster then Johnny left Amber. No need to continue to be dumped on by this place!!!!!
