Do not bring your vehicle here !! Was recommended by family member of owner ( you would think best service) had my vehicle for 2 weeks talked to Joe several times on the phone was told some of the repairs done waiting for parts etc for others decided to just show up at the shop one day NONE of the repairs had been done parts sitting in boxes on shop floor still unopened vehicle wasn't even in the bay to be worked on I even pre paid for services !!!!! Was quoted much less then the total came out to told me had to take my tires to another shop to get the tpms sensors done as they didn't fir in his tire machine he had to have known this prior to giving me the lower quote for them then wouldn't even give me the money I was owed back day I finally got my vehicle back said something about having to speak to his accountant!! Took toooooo long charged toooo much after being quoted way less and all the repairs I wanted weren't even done not by half !!! read more

This guys is a liar. Its actually pretty crazy, you don't think people like this exist until you meet joe. He makes you pay upfront and tells you your car needs something it doesn't. He's also extremely overbearing if you question anything. He left my car worst, so I went back to ask what was the problem he answered by arguing he did everything "perfectly" his face was so full of anger, unearned pride and hatred it was disgusting. I took my car there for maintenance and inspection. I took quotes for the maintenance from a few other places and this place was lowest on the quote, they had a lot of customers there and the guys there were very helpful and courteous, knew what needed to be done and had plenty of experience on their hands. I left the shop very satisfied and weeks from that day my car is not giving any problems. In short I would totally recommend this joint, excellent service and great prices. read more

I strongly advise all potential customers to completely avoid this mechanic. Having had a relationship with this mechanic for 20 years, he completely violated our trust. I never would have imagined that he would have taken advantage of my elderly mother, but he did. She is isolated and alone in Houston and he took terrible advantage of this situation. My mother suffers from dementia. I arranged to sell her car to Joe, our mechanic from Anter Shell. I flew in from France specifically to help coordinate the sale of the car between my mom and Joe. The only financial agreement we had for the car was the reimbursement of the most recent car repairs of $1250. We sold Joe a low-mileage car in good condition. He was the only mechanic to take care of this car since 1999. For the repairs, my mother had paid $1000 in cash and I paid $250 on my personal credit card. Joe accepted the car and took title but never reimbursed us for the repair fees as he agreed to. We have tried in vain for months to get the money from Joe who refuses to speak to us. I am absolutely devastated by this betrayal of trust. Do not trust this mechanic. For your own peace of mind, find someone else! read more

joe violated our trust three times now. first when he did unneeded repairs for 800$, he stopped replying to phone calls, second when he changed simple part wich was defective from the beginning, but told me that i would have to repair something else for $1200. never happened as i knew the problem was not in 1200 dol. so i kept driving with the problem on my own risk. but when the defective part came to a bigger issue, he said that would change part for free as it is under warranty, never did, just adjusted something and left it as is. took 20 dollars for bs job, and stoped answering his phone. i am done with this mechanic. even though i had written good reviews before. but joe cannot be trusted. period. he would make it look as if he is doing superb job, and when you lose you guard he would stub you with bs repairs, and fake promisses. would take your money, and would twist all the situation all around. read more
