I went to Midas yesterday and got an oil change and woke up this morning and I have oil all on my ground in my driveway . This Midas also asks me to drive my vehicle that doesn't have oil in to potentially lock my motor up. I'm not ok with this work and I'm highly pissed and upset . They should've checked for leaks and all before letting it go. we have one car it's an inconvenience to me and my wife and kids. UPDATE: I was able to get my repair done at the Market Drive store with Gary that was very polite and understanding. The assigned mechanic was quick and did a great job replacing my disc brakes. Life is great because the Regional Manager happens to be at that store that day and he took the time to listen to my bad experience and assured me that was NOT the Midas way to treat their customers. I will continue to recommend Midas to anyone. The new Cinco Ranch store (Nov/2024) team is VERY amateur and unprofessional, especially the new young boy Manager, flat out rude, confrontational and a liar. I have been coming here for quite some time for my special projects because Midas allow for Customer provided parts and the prior team (Troy and John) great work and price. This moron said that in the 5 years that he's working with Midas Corporate policy has always been not to accept customer's parts and that I wasn't in the records even after I showed him the invoice. Instead, he choose to offend me and wave me out of the store and that I wasn't welcome there. Coincidentally another customer there that dropped his car 3 hours before for his repair was told that they didn't even started his job. I know Midas is (or was) better than that. This is THE WORST experience that I have ever experienced with a company let alone a car shop ever. I want to give 0 stars but that's not an option. Let me start by saying Cooper is very rude and disrespectful and does not have the professionalism or integrity that it takes to operate a business! He needs to be demoted immediately in order for this establishment to be successful because he is just very disrespectful. Name callling me and my father all types of names and was HIGHLY DISRESPECTFUL, DISMISSIVE, and just and unprofessional man who doesn't have what it takes to run a business. I brought my car 2 days ago to get fixed and here I am 3 days later and $700 later with the same issue!! My car has been there twice and they have done nothing to my car and my car is still not starting today! Nothing has been done to fix my vehicle as this was the issue that I brought my car in to be repaired for 2 days ago. I brought it back yesterday and stated that it still wasn't starting they stated they would take a look. I go to pick it up later that evening, and they have not even touched or looked at my car the entire day!!! They wanted me to bring it back AGAIN (for a 3rd time the following day)! I was not doing that. I stated they could issue me a full refund due to them not fixing the issue on my car, and it still not working/ starting or they could fix the issue which they were claiming was the fuel pump. I then proceeded to ask, "why they didn't fix the fuel pump to begin with???" If that was the issue of why the car wasn't starting????? They said "you wouldn't let me talk" blah blah just unprofessional!!! I dropped my car off to this shop TWICEEE!!!! And NOTHING was fixed! Point blank. I said I either want a full refund or the fuel pump that you should have proceeded to repair in the first place if that's what I needed done! They said I would have to pay for labor, I stated I would not be paying anything else additional to them because I just paid $700 for my car and it's still not fixed and it's been 3 days!!! They refused to give me a refund and have misdiagnosed my car. And said due to the "we can't issue you a refund". This is $700 of MY hard earned money. I will get my refund due to the fact that I did not receive the service that I I asked for which was for my car to be start back up. Which it is currently not doing. WORST SHOP EVER!!!!! Do not go here whatever you do!! And do NOT LISTEN TO COOPER!!! He is a scammer and all of the technicians are literally horrible and unskilled especially Daniel. I took my car in for a oil change on Saturday 8/22/25. At 8:30 am a hour had passed so I ask how long does it take to get an oil change. Shannon told me it takes anywhere from a hour to a hour 1/2 then she said this is not quick lube we are a full service mechanic shop and that they check everything on your car! I said ok and sat back down. When time to pay Shannon at the front desk . She Told me that I needed tires, that they were cracked and old. I told her that's strange and that I had purchased new tires the day before. The she show's me this air filter and said this is what you're breathing in inside your car. I ask her if that was my air filter from my car she told me YES!!!I ask how much is an air filter she said $18.00 I ask her if I could speak to the person who worked on my car. They nice guy came in, I asked him how are the tires on my car he said that they are brand new and that my car was in great condition. I ask if I need a new air filter and pointed to the one Shannon told me that I needed, that she says d came from my car! Then he says that's not her air filter that belongs to the Volvo!! I drive a Lexus. Beware of Shannon !!! She will try to stick you for your money have you buying shit you don't need. Two thumbs down for Shannon with your full of shit self. My daughter just took her car for the first time for inspection to this Midas. It's her first time doing this with her new car. Once she arrived at the garage, she inadvertently attempted to pull into the stall when one of the employees started screaming at her cussing and using foul language ("get the fu** out of here, who the fu** do you think you are"). His co-workers even told him to calm down. My daughter came home hysterical, crying and shaking. I called the manager and received a very rude and unprofessional response. He promised to look into it and I never heard back from him. Midas just lost our business of more than 20 years with multiple cars. I don't believe my daughter will ever step into a Midas store again. Be aware, rude, nasty and extremely poor customer service. I needed a oil change and alignment to leave for North Dakota. When I came in I was told I needed new car parts. I had the car parts put on and went back into Midas for another alignment. While I'm driving half way to North Dakota my rear end of my car starts fishtailing my cars all over the road then it start snowing. My family and I almost died! What the hell did this man do to my car?! Because I'm in the middle of nowhere I find a hotel go somewhere else for a alignment this guy says your lucky to BE ALIVE!!! my car was fixed after this time no problems driving in the snow. I'm so pissed not once did I go to Midas for the alignment but twice no idea what you fkn doing!!! And the car parts I replaced one of them didn't even need to be changed. Bought a Groupon and took my car here for an oil change . This shop bait and switched me and told me that my car was not covered because it used "special oil" . My car takes premium synthetic oil which is the Groupon I purchased. Then they charged me full price and used the Price i paid for the Groupon to deduct the difference. Not even a week after the service my car is now leaking oil. It never leaked oil in the past so they did not even do the oil change right or probably cut corners. I came to this location with a Groupon for an oil change. I usually have low expectations when using a Groupon but I was attended to immediately and the staff was very friendly. I got a full inspection included for free. After a very short wait Jaie called me to come look at my car and showed me the problems she informed me of. I was able to choose what issues I wanted to be fixed and the crew got on it. Jaie also helped me with a plan of action on others issues my car has. Being a women I really appreciate Jaie for taking the time to explain things to me. The waiting area is clean and has a window where you can see your vehicle being worked on. I live a good 40 minutes from this location but this is my new go to mechanic. Jaie and her staff are great, very professional and knowledgeable. I was in and out in one hour. If I could give zero star, I would. This place posts their services on Groupons for a reason. They entice you in with seemingly cheap price then will find non-issues and blow it out of proportion. I went in today for state inspection. All the computer readings passed without issue. They really couldn't find issues and end up stating the power steering fluid level is low in hope that I would get it serviced there. My car was maintained at the dealer all the time. It was in the dealer just last week. So I called my dealer immediately and sent the service dept a picture of the power steering fluid reservoir. The dealer's response is that for a Subaru to have that level of power steering fluid is normal, nothing to be concerned. Think twice before you go there if you think you are getting a deal. If you are afraid to be ripped off by some mechanic shops, run far far away. read more

When I first got there the store manager tried to sell me a lot of services that my car didn't need, he said I needed new spark plugs he proceeded to change them and charged me $400, he was acting kind of weird. I called my friend who is a mechanic and asked, He assured the car didn't need new speak plugs, I confronted the midas manager and he apologize and said that he could do another service for the same price but couldn't refund the money!!! I purchased a Groupon for an oil change. When going here and attempting to redeem it, I was told that I had to set an appointment since I was using the voucher. I wouldn't have had a problem with it if the voucher stated you had to have an appointment. So had I not been using a voucher, I could have gotten my oil change without an appointment. What sense does that make? The voucher states that an appointment is recommended but required on peak days and lists Friday, Saturday, and Monday as those peak days. Since today is Thursday, an appointment is not required per their Groupon. Also, I could understand if the store was packed but it was literally one other customer there. read more

Okay. So I brought the coupon from this location for car inspection and oil change a month ago. Then I went to their store, I waited for hours and after they done, I have been told, their inspection machine was broken and come back a week after. Why they did not tell me ahead of time? And I paid extra money for oil change, they charged me extra money which is not the coupon price I prepaid. A month after, I went back for car inspection, they told me the inspector was not there, and come back tmr. I came back next day, you know what happened, they told me the inspector is not in! What a joke, I have been inspect my car for like a month, it's not been done yet. I would definitely not recommend this location and worst customer service ever! read more

Chad at the front desk took care of my oil leak in a very prompt manner. I came in a few days after doing an oil change at this location because I noticed oil leaking from the truck. Went back in to this location and found out I had a bad drain plug. Frank the technician drained all the oil and Chad ordered a new plug while I waited. I was hungry so they even gave me a lift (thanks Jose) to the nearest shopping center where I ate and then they called to tell me my vehicle was ready. Jose came to pick me up and I've got to say this is the first time any business has had this type of customer service. They refilled the truck with new oil on the house and all I had to pay for was the new plug and no labor charge since they understood that it should have been checked the first time.
