This is my first bad review ever, and the reason it's because I am being treated differently. I went with a manifold problem and they wanted to charge me almost $4000, I realized the product was around $800 and I bought it myself, I took it there to put it on and they told me they can't guarantee their job because I bought it from outside, they took my car to put it and now they are telling me they are too busy to get it fix. That's not a way to treat customers, if you can't do a job just don't take a car. read more

the staffs here genuinely care about your car and are honest about things. I've been coming here for years now because of that reason. some tire centers would charge you more especially if you don't know much about cars in general (me), but this place would never does that. if theres something wrong with my car, they don't mind checking for you for free of charge or telling whats covered under our car warranty etc. and the staffs are friendly and easy to communicate as well. and the lobby area is always very clean too. read more

DON'T take your car to get new tires installed or you will regret it. I don't see why they continued installing the tires on the wheels if they were incapable of doing a great job. They handed me back my car with the wheels horribly scratched. They didn't even apologize. I told the front desk worker that was present right away and the tire technician that did the job came outside and must not of thought I noticed. The mechanic looked around with his mouth covered in shock and went back inside the store without saying a word. The front desk worker took my information and told me they would contact me when the manager was back. I waited a couple days and they never got back to me. I called back and they said they could do nothing. How could you destroy perfectly new wheels and asume no responsibility. If the tire technician noticed he was incapable of doing it correctly why would he be allowed to continue and ruin all four wheels. My car barley had 4,000 miles and now all 4 wheels are damaged. Save your time and money and look for a better business that stands behind their work. read more

Been coming here for a few years now and I have never been disappointed. Sometimes it's intimidating to get auto work done without my husband with me to make sure I get a fair price etc...I have never felt intimidated or cheated here. Every time I have been here, the staff members have always been attentive to the front desk (even if they're in the back garage). You won't be left waiting for someone to attend to you unlike other auto places. Services have been fair priced, and the mechanics are efficient and detailed with their work. Every time I've come in, the person at the front desk has been pleasant and during COVID-19 times, masks are enforced, and there is hand sanitizer and a plexiglass divider to protect them as well as the patrons. Their waiting room is air conditioned with clean restrooms. Highly recommend. read more

I went in for a 38 point inspection with my AAA membership. These guys have no experience with diesel cars. They gave me a false diagnosis on repairs. Went to another location and what Westchase Tire & Auto identified as having a leaking turbo charger was wrong. There was no leak. They also failed on the 38 point inspection. I had a disconnected fuel line that they didn't even spot. They are AAA certified but I wouldn't trust them a bit. read more

So, I purchased a coupon for a cheap oil change and tire rotation at a competitor, let's call them Iffy Ube. When the mechanic at Iffy Ube was trying to remove the lug nuts on one of the wheels, they could not for fear of breaking the stud, which they then could not fix in shop. So I drove away without my rotation. I called Westchase Tire and Auto, since I live in their neighborhood, initially to see if they could do what Iffy Ube could not do, remove the nut to do a tire rotation. I spoke to them many times over the phone and the man was patient to give me the answers to the questions I kept coming up with. They finally gave me a estimate on how much it would be if the stud was indeed broken, and how much it would be just to do the rotation. I went over and indeed the stud needed to be broken and replaced. They were professional, courteous and did the job in a timely manner. They stuck to the estimate that they gave me and did the tire rotation as well. They seem to be a clean shop, full of professional, patient mechanics. read more

I was very very impressed with the level of service given to us. The waiting room was nice and the oil change was quick. They weren't too pushy about buying extra services but they did let us know what we needed to do. We were in and out in under 40 minutes. The entire staff was friendly and professional from start to finish. The price was reasonable, under 40.00 for an oil change. The only thing I would improve is add a complementary drink/coffee machine. read more

I have some experience around cars and I know Chad and his crew have NEVER tried to get anything by me and that's hard to come by in the repair world. I've taken five different cars here personally and have recommended W.T.A. service to coworkers because our office is near by and everyone has been happy with the results. My Saturn now had 207,000 miles and is still going strong thanks to Westchase Tire & Automotive. The best thing I can say is they fix it right the first time and they don't sit on it either. I cant afford to be w/o my car and for the last 10 years these guys have fixed everything from my clutch, motor mounts, struts, to even helping me get a window replaced when my car was broken into. I worked for AAA in the early 80's and know the standards they make you keep or AAA comes out and takes the sign down. I don't mess around with my AAA surveys and these guys always earn the best rating. They have even convinced me from moving from Michelin's to Goodyear Assurance after I looked into the details in CR and saw for my climate (no snow) the Goodyear was the best choice for me. read more

Went in for a state inspection and left shortly after they pulled my car in the shop. The man that works the front desk came and got me and explained that my car needed two new front tires or it would fail. I asked him what the state required measurement for tire tread was and he told me 5/32 all the while I knew it was actually 2/32. I then asked him what my tires were at and he said 0/32, which would mean they were completely bald, they were not. He proceeded to quote me $500 to replace both tires. He knew he was playing me because he didn't make me pay for the "failed" inspection and kept trying to just say "don't worry about it we will just replace those tires for you". I asked for my keys back and left, went across the street and received an honest, passing inspection. I hate that people see a young girl, suspect she has no idea and try to take advantage of her. Save your time and money and go somewhere else. read more

I went in for an oil change and inspection and the man at the counter informed me that I didn't pass inspection because my power steering was leaking. I asked how much it would be to fix and he quoted me $800. I went to another auto shop to check it out and they told me that nothing was wrong and that I passed the inspection. I normally get all of my maintenance done at the dealership. However I was coming up on the deadline to get my state inspection so I came here on my lunch break. The morning of the inspection my battery struggled in the cold, and I knew I was getting close to overdue to replace my battery. It took about 30 min for them to finish my inspection. They came out and told me that I passed, and that I really should replace the battery, as it was very weak and they had to jump the car to do the inspection. I agreed. All told it was $200 to replace the battery and to get my inspection done (split was about 150 for battery 50 for inspection). All told I was very happy with my service, as all of this took around 50 min. They also quoted me on a few things that I might need to get done, which my dealership had already told to keep an eye on in the next year. read more

Easily the best auto shop I've ever been to. I came in with two dead tires and a broken rim. Knew that would be expensive. When I balked at the price of a rim from Chrysler, they sent someone around town with my busted rim to find the cheapest generic rim they could and saved me $400 over the manufacturer!!! And honestly the generic doesn't look that bad. They call before they do anything, they don't push BS upsells, and the turnover was crazy fast! Oh, and they gave me a free loaner car to get around town in the meantime! Chrysler dealers won't even do that for me! I got two tires, a new rim, an oil change, and a state inspection for $675, which would have easily been over $1000 at most shops. Westchase tire and auto is a place that I feel like I can trust. Being a female many places will try and say more is wrong with a car than what is really wrong, but I'm pretty knowledgeable about repairs. I went in there with my car, fully knowing what was wrong, and not once has Chad or his crew been dishonest. They take great care of my car and are always upfront with the issues. They have even kept it longer without an extra charge just to make sure it wasn't going to act up on me. Other dealerships have tried to charge a fee for keeping it longer. As a female I know I can trust this crew :) they are also great at talking to me when my husband goes in with me as opposed to talking to him instead since it is my car :) Great auto shops are hard to find and I'll be sticking with them from here on out. read more

I took my car and then my husband's in for inspections today. Mine was new enough that they didn't have to run an emissions test, so I was only charged $7 for the inspection, and I was out in less than 10 minutes! My husband's vehicle is a little older, so the inspection was full price, but still quick...10-15 minutes and done! The employees were personable, and the waiting area had comfy seats and was nice and clean. Will definitely use them again in the future! read more

Chris is very friendly and knowledgeable. He explained everything to me after going in for a inspection. He showed me that my inspection would not pass due to the brake fluid being low. I knew it was getting close to the time of replacement. After researching this issue, I went back for the replacement and inspection. They made me feel really good and I felt they were so honest. Chad was amazing. I had called in yesterday after reading the reviews on yelp and I was not dissapointed. I needed to get all 4 tires...yes all four ....and they took 2 hours to complete it. I just waited for the entire 2 hours studying there and it was nice and comfortable. Chad greets everyone who walks in the door. I noticed most people that walked in the door were pleasantly suprised to have someone greet them at the door like as if they are a long lost relative. The price was around 790 for all for tires. There are more expensive options. My husband told me that our old car was also serviced by this location and they did not even charge for their 3 hours of labor when they found out that they cannot repair it. He also let us leave the car there overnight so that we can get towing service the next morning. Great service. I think I just found my new autocare place. read more

DO NOT GO FOR INSPECTION!!!......They lied to me about my inspection. They said I didn't pass due to power steering leak and wanted to charge 385.00 to replace power steering pump. I took for a second opinion to a certified mechanic and the pump was fine. INSPECTION SCAM! took to get inspection to another place passed with no problems.
