Need less to say....Phil and Jay were awesome. He showed me a new one and said he may get a trade in on one that was pre owned less than yr old and could save me a lot of money. He suggested we wait for trade in. I said great let's get the paperwork already, hrs later got call your approved. The phone rang week later unit came in from trade. We went in and boom same unit that we wanted was preowned, we did walk through few little things needed fixing like blind adjustments and ordered few items we wanted signed paperwork. He then said when are u ready for delivery? I said in 4 days Phil said no problem; I'll be out of town but my team will be ready for you. Two months after original purchase date my vehicle was out of service and it still isn't working properly. damaged hood replaced and painted but there are paint drippings. Not so wild about the sales guy- Jay. I'm a serious buyer, but through the whole time this hyped up guy kept talking to my friend, I finally had to say "hey, I am the buyer!". I also believe he misled me on the deal when he said "so you'll pay the fees?", he didn't bother to tell me they add I. $2000 (!!!!) in "prep" fees. Be aware! I bought a brand new 2021 Nitro toy hauler back in the spring of 2021. It has problems with it that Anthem Rv told me they would get fixed. They promised it would not be an issue. Well it is now almost August and not one thing has been fixed not one phone call to schedule any of the work to be done!! Nope they will sell you a unit at the highest price possible and leave you out to dry. Anthem RV has No Customer Service intentions at all. So I don't advise buying any RV's from Anthem RV & Boat at all. I think I am going to contact the AG's office and leave a complaint with them and see if they will start looking into their business practices. My family and I recently purchase a 2020 Rockwood 2509S from the Anthem RV in Sun City Az. We worked with Jim. He is a great person and was very knowledgeable on the trailer. He wasn't pushy, he was very honest with us and matter of fact. The type of person i like to deal with. We also worked with John on consigning my late father's motor home. John was also very kind, understanding and straight up. Jim and John both were very pleasing to work with. Efficient, organized and honest. Their manager however is another story, he is the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. Martin was nice yes. But, he was probably the most unorganized person i have worked with. Paperwork was not in order. We had our own funding and when we came in with the check to pay for our new trailer and trade in our 5th wheel. Our file was nowhere to be found. Jim came in on his day off to help, John did his best to have us sign all necessary paperwork. They both assisted us with the new hitch and helped us on our way. A week later, i got a call from Martin requesting that i come in at 2 o'clock to sign more paperwork that was missed and to give them the down payment check (they already were given this and it had been removed from my account already). When i arrived at 2pm to sign the remaining paperwork, Martin wasn't there. John had no idea why I was there. Martin hadn't even left Anthem yet knowing that we had an appointment to sign paperwork at 2pm that day. John was finally able to find out what paperwork was still needed and once signed I was on my way. This would have been a much more pleasant experience if Martin would have been more organized and respectful of our time by being prepared. I have purchased two coaches from Anthem RV over the past few years. We recently purchased our second one - a Toy Hauler. We had shopped around (since we now live in Mesa) but found the deal at Anthem was the best in the state by far! Phil (the manager) has been the very best to work with! Tammer, our sales rep was so responsive, helpful and NOT pushy. The service department including the final walk-thru of our unit was detailed, comprehensive and they answered all of our questions. We made our first long weekend trip and spent a wonderful time on the "patio/porch" that converts from the ATV ramp. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner sitting "out on the porch". Just the best time!!!! You cannot go wrong with the folks at Anthem RV and I cannot say enough good about them!!!!!! read more

This place is a sh@t hole. It's literally a couple utility trailers bolted together & extension cords running everywhere. They had some nice looking rv's (from a distance) & while we were warned to skip this place, stopped anyway. While Scott took a water break from the heat (offered nothing to us), we found a $110k unit we liked & asked to test drive. Scott said no & demanded that we complete a credit app first. We clarified that we were inexperienced with diesel drivetrain & would like to compare it to what we'd already driven at another dealer. He said no, not without a credit app. We were not necessarily bothered by the policy (if it was such) but just his smug attitude. And, we didn't need a loan anyway. Cash deal lost & probably enough profit margin to land them another utility trailer - or some dental work... RESPONSE to Paul Larsen's response to my original complaint: We absolutely have never met Paul Larsen nor had we been on this lot before, so there's no substance/truth to his response. However, if his response was accurate, I would totally agree with the approach. Yes, we are pilot/attorney couple. No interest in Class A's. Yes, we did buy a nice Class C (which is all we inquired about here) & sooo glad we didn't do business with Anthem RV. And yes, we are absolutely sick of most sales people in the automotive industry - especially when shopping with cash. My guess is that if you're reading this - you agree 100%. read more

I never leave reviews but our experience with Anthem RV has been truly horrific and I felt the need to let others know so they don't end up in a situation like ours. They have lied to us every time we have called. They tell you what you want to hear instead of being honest about what is actually going on. After so many calls and lies and no follow through our trust in them to say the least, was non existent. We felt like we were dealing with slimy car sales men. Once this happened and they realized we were becoming upset the owner Phil decided not to accept or return any of our calls. I wish I had read the reviews on Anthem RV before doing business with this company. I had purchased a used trailer in South Dakota and upon returning found that the battery had not recharged and I could not get the trailer off of my truck. I took it to Anthem RV where the Service Manager said he could not get to it for 3 weeks. I agreed to a three-week wait. In the third week I stopped by for an update on when they might begin working on my RV. The service manager somewhat annoyed said that it would be either on Friday of that week or the first of the next week. The following week (week 4) I stopped in again to find that they had not begun working on my trailer. I inquired if it would be possible to trade my trailer in purchasing more updated model. A salesman met me in the service center and showed me one trailer. He then stated it was too hot to look for other trailers in his inventory but would be sending me a list of what was available. Two days later I received an email listing the one trailer I have seen. I stopped by with my wife and the salesman showed us the trailer. I asked him to give me a proposal with my trailer being traded in. The following day I received an email telling me that it would be preferable for me to sell my trailer on the open market and then provided the sale price for the trailer I was show. We agreed to meet at 2 PM on Saturday to see if we can reach an agreement. Upon arrival the salesmen informed me that he was" working with another customer" and that his colleague would write up the sale. I showed him that the price was substantially higher for the same model offered by other dealerships. He said "Well maybe I can take a couple hundred dollars off." Having not heard from the salesman I went to the Service department at the beginning of week five and asked if the work on my trailer had begun. I was informed that it had not. I said "let me take it off your hands". The service manager said okay, they brought trailer around to the front parking lot and drop it in the parking lot knowing that the electric tongue jack was not working. As I struggled with the hydraulic jack someone from the sales department came out and said that he would get the forklift and help me put it back on my truck. An hour later I took my trailer to State RV. After explaining the problem to their Service Manager accompanied me to the parking lot. In less than 10 minutes the problem had been fixed. I subsequently purchased the same model trailer that Anthem RV was offering from another dealership. The one I purchased was one year newer, in better condition, and $3000 less. read more

Bought a very gently used (I like "previously enjoyed" better) class C motorhome from Anthem at the show around Memorial Day. Love it. Love Anthem. Roger and Mark in service have been so helpful. I had Roger on speed dial my first time out. I'm single, was road tripping by myself and knew nothing, nata, zero, about RV'ing. The manuals are, well, useless for the most part. Roger stepped me through any situation I wasn't sure of during my first trip. It was a four week outing. Trial and error, plus Roger and Mark's help, I feel ready to go again. Not much glitz or glamour at there facility, but I feel the prices reflect that. Which is fine with me. Go see them. read more

I have an RV I want to sell and don't have a lot of time, so thought it would be easier to consign. These guys advertise that they are awesome at consignments. I talked to the owner on the phone and he told me about how they consign for 8% of the sales price. This seemed reasonable. On a side note, their phone system is horrible and runs you around in circles, their website contact forms do not work, and it's actually difficult to get someone on the phone.. and calls are not returned. Anyway, I drove my RV there because I couldn't get anybody on the phone. When I got there, it was toward end of day and one guy was in the office.. it took me 15 minutes to locate him. he was extremely rude and impatient, and not helpful at all. Additionally, the 8% consignment fee turned into something completely different. In addition to the 8% fee, after the rv sold, they would give me money based on their "wholesale" price not the price the unit sells for-- wtf. So no matter what the rv sells for, I would only get a fraction of the sale price.. so instead of $35k or so that the rv is worth, I would end up with about $17k. That's not consignment, that's no different than if I just sold it to them at a ridiculous lowball price. Additionally, they seem to tack on all kinds of extra fees like storage and such. I feel like their advertising is extremely misleading. So basically i walked out and won't ever go back. What a colossal waste of my time. read more

It's a bit out of my way, but Anthem RV has the very best parts and service department in the valley. The manager is very knowledgeable and there is literally nothing he hasn't been able to answer. I will say they can be very busy at times so you may have to wait, but it's worth it to have someone like Mark there to let you know what your problem may be or get the parts and have service fix it and get you on your way. I have been in a few times to get a part or a new item for my coach and there can be some pretty rude customers talking down to the staff. As I said before they can be so busy at times with walk ins, people dropping off and picking up for service so being patient helps. If you are and take the time to let Mark and Tracy help you you'll leave happy. The owner Phil is great and has really been busy not only getting some awesome new inventory if you're looking for a trade in or new coach, but upgrading the property and fixing up the offices and lot. They are located right off the I 17 in Anthem. If Anthem is too far for you and you are looking to buy they did let me know they have a second sales location off of Grand in Peoria. After purchasing a coach from anthem RV and being told that we had all new batteries put in come to find out eight of them are bad. We called them and ask them to give us the warranty on them so that we could get them replaced and they were no help. It took us four times calling them just to even get some kind of answer. Not only that but half the things in the RV didn't even work after they gave it to us. They had Jerry rig the HDMI cable for the TVs those never work, the inverter had issues with it, and other miscellaneous problems with the water station. I would not recommend going to them ever. They do not stand by their product and are a shady company. read more

The RV I bought was great, salesman was great, person in charge of doing our was completely un-helpful, even called the owner, an idiot, this was after he was an hour and a half late to our meeting and then had to move his lunch that he was eating out of the way for us to sign the papers. They made a huge deal about us having to buy a hitch from them, even though I already had one, then when we got our RV a week later NO ONE EVEN helped us hitch up our coach. I tried to talk to the owner who then told me, "he didn't have time for this?" Our coach (had it a week now), AC is working. I get it that it's not something directly related to the process but very frustrating. I have had for the own to call me twice and haven't NO RESPONSE still. It's rather unfortunate too, as my In-Law are looking and ready to buy an RV, guess they won't be coming here. read more

We entrusted our rig with them on consignment. Everything they said they would do did not happen. They listed our rig for 3 times more then it was worth and actually more then when we originally paid several years ago. Anthem even damaged the rig and the RUDE Sales Manager just said "We are not responsible for any damages". Small things is not an issue. It becomes an issue when your guys hit the side of the rig with the rig mover. People - Beware and Run far away! read more

Do not get me wrong, I love my 2021 GeoPro 19FBS! Absolutely love it!! However, it took over 2 & half weeks to get the deal done. I was passed off to several different people. I was repeatedly told that the owner new all about it and if he said it was all good then it was a go deal. Ended up talking to the owner, Phil, and he didn't know anything about me! We set up an appointment time to pick up the GeoPro, arrived on time, and the Financing was still be worked on. I knew more about the GeoPro than the service tech that did our walk through. I had a trade-in, and the bank is now calling me asking where is the payoff money? So, we called Anthem and spoke with the "finance manager " was told that it was out of his scope but he would see. Out of his scope, he is the finance manger!! He called us and told us it had been mailed out on day 10 of the 10 day payoff quote. REALLY!!! Now We owe our bank money so that they want send me to collections. This is not my fault that A them has held the payoff check for the full 10 days, why should I have to pay this, Anthem should! This whole deal has felt like I was dealing with a tote-a-note lot!!! read more

We purchased a 2020 Rockwood 2304 DS from John Kaiser at the Sun City Anthem RV center. He was very knowledgeable and professional. He was instrumental in advising which model would fit our needs. We are downsizing from a 45' Allegro Bus towing a Jeep to a Ford F150 P/U towing our new trailer. All this was done by phone with John. He referred us to the Sales Manager who assisted us with financing through our Credit Union. We were scheduled to do our walk thru on Wednesday, Feb 5 at 12:00. We were met by Mark Forrester, the Sales Manager. He introduced us to Daniel who delivered an unbelievable in-depth walk-thru. I have purchased 7 new motorhomes and had done a walk-through on each of them. Several of the members did not know answers to certain questions. Daniel was gracious, professional, knowledgeable and undoubtedly a very happy employee of the Service Department at the Anthem RV located in Phoenix, AZ at the N Black Canyon Hwy Service and Sales Center. We will be picking up our new Pick-up mid-March and going back to Anthem RV to pick up our trailer. Hopefully, Daniel will be able to attach our Equalizer 4 Point to both so we will have a safe trip back to Green Valley, AZ (South of Tucson, AZ) where we live. These people came down to Quartzsite AZ. Did the pitch Yada yada.. these are the best rvs.. blah.. I am brand new to this world.. And Man did I get Fucked over!! I purchased a 2021 Forest River Microlite. For 35k... They said the trailer had to go to the shop to get PID. When I came back to pick it up 3 days later they said they brought me another one. Well 6 days later the sunroof above the bed leaked, so did the ceiling and slide out cabinets! It was obvious the ceiling panels were replaced as previous screws holes were filled back in with putty. I wrote an email wanting a refund. The owner said he would give me a buy back percentage!! He lied and said he got a brand controller for me. No I bought one and had it installed in the next town over. These crooks, didn't give me a new hitch and easy jacks as promised but some used POS rusty one missing parts. SCAM ARTIST. And Jay the sales associate tried to fight my boyfriend and said we were on drugs??!! While he drinks on the job! They said to have it covered in warranty.. but didn't make the appointment for me as requested. The main office never called me back. And now I have issues with the plumbing, it was connected backwards! I am pretty sure they sold me a used trailer! I wouldn't send my worst enemy there!! Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever received in the RV industry. I called 4 times to try to get RV storage rates and availability. 3 calls/messages to Mark the storage guy went completely ignored. I called again and the receptionist transferred me to a female (can't remember whom). No answer so left a message with her also. Still, no return phone call. I called back and asked for a manager. He was very short with me cutting me off whilst explaining that the storage was full. I expressed that a call back would have been nice. He then proceeded to ask where I purchased my RV. I informed him that I purchased my RV in Flagstaff and he then said we only have space for people who purchased from us. Unprofessional, discourteous, and down right terrible.
