First of all our Salesman Ted Smith was very pleasant to work with, after that it goes down hill. We bought a 2105 Puma, things to their credit, they found the galley tank was cracked and replaced it, they also replaced the AC cover although it wasn't the correct cover but some generic that seems to be a little to big so it works, I appreciate that, they did order the parts and got them and installed in the time frame they said. From here on it gets worse. On the inspection they give you a check list to mark off the things the tech goes over. We drove over 2 hours to get there expecting it all to be primed, the last thing we wanted to do was wait for them to fix things. So here is the list, the scare lights dont work, when the tech flipped the switch he looked out at the lights flipped them again said these are your outside lights. To his defense they may have worked although I did not see them come on but the 120 mile trip could have broken the filaments so that is not an issue, $1 in blubs and it was fixed. The interior skylights had the lexan piece removed, one of them on inspection the first day was off and just laying up inside he roof, the other it was already missing so instead of attempting to at least fix the one they just took the piece of lexan out. The inside was cleaned of the major messes left by the owners, I would have thought that would have been done before even showing the trailer but not so. The walk through was the standard customary deal, we have bought many rv's but let the guy do his job. The very first thing that we took notice of was the exterior of the trailer, it was filthy and I don't think they even washed it, all the caulked seams were dirty brown from the dirt, we thought ok must be impossible to get off, turns out that wasn't the case it just need to be scrubbed. I am pretty sure the brochure they gave us said the unit would be cleaned inside and out plus Buff wax Detail (see Pic). It was not, the carpet was never even swept or was swept poorly. The roof was dark brown from dirt, now they were up there replacing the AC cover so surely they noticed the roof was in sorry shape but not a drop of water had hit it. It's when we get it delivered it starts to get worse, first of all the battery was so dead it had 3 volts in it, worked fine at the dealership but it was plugged in and was powered by the inverter, we wondered why the jacks wouldn't work. Al had made a point of telling us that if it needed a battery they would replace it and only charge us their cost. Obviously that didn't happen. Next was a leaky shower valve that had leaked enough that it lifted the paper off the faux wood in the bath on the floor. They had thrown some caulking down apparently to try and fix where they thought it leaked, outside of the obvious water on the floor was that the access panel on the front of the shower had the bolts hanging out as if they forgot to screw them back in. The cover on the bottom was poorly put back on after replacing the bad galley tank. Are these major things you might ask, no they are not and I got them all fixed but considering they make a living off the consignment they made a lot of money for not a lot of effort. Granted they had some time involved in replacing the tank and maybe they allot only so much time for what they make if this is the case I understand but cleaning the outside should have been a major point for customer satisfaction. I will not suggest you not buy from them but pay close attention to what they say and do. One thing that seemed ironic was that the tires while being 6 years old had little to no wear so this probably set in a location and not moved around, the tires looked perfect with no weather cracks or other showing of degradation but the tech was adamant that we should replace the tires and if we chose to have it trailered 120 miles anything that happened was on us. While I appreciate his concern it was not expressed so much in his attention to what we already paid for. SCAMMERS - STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! I did business with this company several years ago and had a great experience. Unfortunately, since being acquired by Camping World, things have changed dramatically for the worse. I cosigned my RV with them at the end of the April 2026, and it sold fairly quickly around May 15-18, 2026. However, nearly four weeks later, I still haven't received my payment. Almost day I called seeking answers. Most of the time, I was sent to voicemail. When I did reach someone, I received a different excuse each time: * "The sale won't be processed until June." * "You'll get your check tomorrow." * "The person who writes the checks is out of the office." * "We paid off the bank, and the bank will send you the money." Most of this information came from the consignment manager, Ted, who either did not know what was happening or provided inaccurate information on purpose or just because that person is completely unfit for the job. There was a loan on the RV, but according to the consignment agreement, the dealership was supposed to pay off the loan and send the remaining balance directly to me. Instead, the entire sale amount was sent to the lender. In addition, the payoff was delayed for at least three weeks, resulting in unnecessary daily interest charges on my loan. Now I am at the mercy of the lender to return the overpayment and send me the funds that should have come directly to me. This is completely contrary to the terms of the consignment contract. on 6/9/2026 I eventually contacted Camping World corporate, and they directed me to the general manager, Tim. His response was disappointing: "I'm new here. I don't know what happened. I'll investigate and get back to you." He never followed up until Camping World intervened a second time. Even then, instead of receiving an apology or a clear explanation, I was made to feel as though I was being unreasonable for expecting payment for my sold RV and calling them scammers. As I write this review, I have no RV, no money, and no clear timeline for when/or if I will receive the proceeds from the sale. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. DO NOT CONSIGN WITH THEM. Well, where do I start, made contact with RV Arizona Consignment Specialist and first reply I was sent was from Gabe we're happy to take your coach to sell for you and a estimate of my return. Turned around and called them to set things up and Gabr had left for the day and not sure when he would be back,left message with Mary. Few days later she emailed me needing my info on the coach again and few days later told me they wouldnt be interested, too many miles. Was told to send pic all over again and they wouldn't put it out to a buyer, in the nean I sold the coach and let Mary know, two weeks later get an email saying she forwarded that email to her consignment manager. So glad they turned my coach down sure it would have been a 3 ring circus dealing with them. Pure joke and being owned by Camping World could have made a difference. read more

The most recent visit was to Boise, Idaho- they had and are still having a lot of issues with the motorhome) We bought our motorhome from here in the spring. Gave them 2 weeks to fix a lot of the little things needed. The day I was supposed to pick it up and was arriving, they text me to let me know me know it wasn't ready. WHEN I WAS IN THE PARKING LOT. I wasn't going to drive back home for nothing. I took it as is. Of course when you go in to look and shop around, everyone is like dogs running after a biscuit. I wanted to pay it in cash and they refused and said they couldn't do that. The finance manager, Justin- could never get ahold of. Everyone had an excuse for why he couldn't get on the phone. I called for weeks to get ahold of someone regarding the service warranty and not a single person could help me. I'd call and leave messages, get put on hold and then hung up on and when I finally was able to speak to someone I was told the person I was looking for no longer worked there. Lots of red flags but I risked it. Avoid going here and go somewhere else. read more

** if you are considering consigning through them, I would't ** In late summer 2024: We looked at a class B RV that they had for 6-8 weeks and it had not been cleaned and needed to be pulled from the back. I don't think it was out for people to walk in to look at. It seems to have been listed on line only. We told them we were driving out to view it and when we got there the next day, it was a mess. Food crusted on blinds/wall, general scuffs all over, broken items that are very easily fixed (door off rails, blinds not working, etc). Why this mattered to me? It makes me question the overall condition of the vehicle. If it's appearance is beat up, it makes me question how hard it's been driven and used. If the interior and exterior are this rough, I imagine the engine and other systems are in similar condition and possibly not cared for properly. ** general condition of Class B RVs ** Man, they are fairly beat up. You would think they would try and clean the inside for presenting and marketing to customers, but almost all of the class B's we saw were decently beat up, even for 2-3 year old models. 2 stars only because sales and finance folks were friendly and professional. Saw many pictures the salesman sent us at our request days before going there but we Believe they (ARVCS) should have better cleaned and checked the obvious before letting us drive 2.5 hours home after advising them that was our plan going there with a beautiful trade in, We tried to check every little thing but on a vehicle like that it's hard in one day they just hope you don't catch the camouflage their guys do !! So... be super diligent, push buttons and ask lots of questions before leaving that place !! Older people may need a little more assistance for assurance and a 5 star rating.. Please read this review thoroughly and until the very end. Hopefully I can spare someone from experiencing what I did. I will refrain from any personal feelings and keep this review strictly to the facts. In June of 2024 we purchased a camper from RV Az Comsignment Specialists. After the initial inspection I was eager for the results. However I waited, then waited some more. Several days went by, a weekend went by and I had yet to hear from anyone regarding how the camper stood up to the inspection. A week after the inspection had taken place and I still had no idea what the outcome was. I eventually heard from someone a week and a half after the inspection had taken place. By the way. I had to call them to get the report. Like I mentioned, we purchased the camper in June of 2024. It's currently the end of April 2025 and I have yet to receive anything pertaining to the registration. I called the dealership almost daily for over a month to inquire about my license plate. I NEVER RECEIVED A SINGLE RETURN PHONE CALL. Not one. The predicament of having expired tags is one I need not even explain. I had to purchase temporary tags in order to legally drive my new to camper.I recently started phoning RV AZ. again. With the hopes that this could be resolved. If anything they have remained consistent in that they still weren't returning my calls. I began speaking with someone just over 2 weeks ago. I was promised a temporary tag until this is resolved. However I still haven't received the tempory tag. And surprise surprise! My calls are not being returned. It was suggested that I contact the BBB. However RV Az is not accredited by the BBB. That is a consideration I wish I had known prior to my purchase. I'll keep you guys posted as this progresses. Id definitely be very diligent and educated prior to purchasing an RV. They had us put $5000 down on a motor home and we were led to believe it was one price and when the paperwork was done it was sixty thousand dollars more We could not afford that amount and said we could not buy it. There was no interest in it this past summer, so we picked it up early November and took it home. We didn't notice all the damage that had been to our RV until we got home. Someone had left the steps down when driving and bent the steps, door, and screen door. Many items we had put in are missing. 3/4 of a tank of gas is gone. Overall my experience having them represent our RV on consignment was terrible. They do a great job selling g you on why they are good, but the execution falls short. We agreed on a consignment price and the markup they added exceeded market demand. Any price reductions all fall on the owner of the RV and they increase their margin to ensure their revenue target remains flat. We dropped our RV off fresh from a detail and when we picked it up it needed a second complete detail. In addition they returned it with the main gas tank empty (20miles of range) and we dropped it off full of fuel. They never ran the generator since the hour meter had the same number of hours as when we dropped it off. Both the house and coach batteries needed to be changed since they were never maintained while in their possession. Run, run, run!!! There are better organizations you can deal with! We did a consignment with this company on our 2021 Forrest River Cardinal. This was the absolute worst experience. After several incidents with miss truths we decided to cancel our agreement. Since we are in Iowa, we hired a driver to transport the rig back to the mid-west. Prior to leaving AZ we left RV Arizona a signed title per their request. Once the decision was made to move our RV I asked/requested, on several occasions, to have it mailed to us for safety concerns. This company made me a reasonable offer over the phone. I drove my RV there having already told them the repairs needed that they could do for cheap. When I got there he went down $2,000 almost immediately witch I figured on and was willing to take. They told me one "fix" would be $2500 (in an unknowing persons world maybe). Then talked to each other as if I was going to just except whatever they wanted to offer. He tried to get me down at least $2500 more so I stopped the conversation right there and left. They wasted my time, money and energy. The is the WORST thing you can do to someone. Not everyone is "hard up" for money and is just looking to do fair business. It would have been a 60/40 deal in my favor to "consign" but instead they wanted a 70/30 deal in their favor. read more

I had a positive experience. Checking in my motofhome was smooth. Fast and convenient. It took six months to sell my motorhome. All aspects went smoothly . My only comment would be that their initial price they asked for the rv was Out 10,000 dollars above the NADA value. I feel that overpriced dters buyers from even looking. I realize that they want to get the most they can for it. But my experience tells me more realistic pricing sell faster than overpriced. But in the end it all worked out fine. We thought we were buying the camper of our dreams, unfortunately it has been a nightmare from day two, after we pulled off the lot. We didn't get the new tires put on as was put on our contract. Don't get me wrong, these tires had nipples on them with a fresh sticker, but your not selling to an amateur here, the date on the tires were 2015. Secondly, they were to pack the wheel bearing which also were not done, when you have cobwebs on the hub, you know these haven't been touched. So again, another service call for that maintenance. Thirdly, we continuously called them regarding the black water tank not draining. They said, we probably had a pyramid that needed knocked loose to drain, we filled the tank with water numerous times with different chemicals, still no luck 'unless' we put the garden hose down the toilet would we see any results whatsoever. We called AZ RV, numerous times regarding this, they stopped answering our phone calls. When we returned home out of state, our local dealer said our valve was bad and needed replaced, well I'm sorry but how do you make sure this functions when you do your 'go thru' inspection?? Drove an hour to get there, only to find out they knew the batteries were bad (on order they said) so we couldn't turn anything on to see if it worked. I was with both my kids today when they purchased an RV from RV Arizona. I must say when they went in to do the paperwork, they had a walk-through inspection that was done before purchase. The walk through inspector was a man named Anthony. Anthony was a far superior representative to anyone I've ever seen do a walk-through inspection on a purchase. He took his time and I believe his attention to detail from the marine training that he's had with aircrafts, made him an excellent walk-through presenter. I was amazed at the attention to detail and the precise explanation of every intricate part of the RV. Again, purchase an RV from RV Arizona ,but request "Anthony" as your walk-through inspector. We bought a Dutch Star diesel pusher. The coach looked to be in excellent shape for its age. In reality there was a couple of issues that were not disclosed to us. One was a water leak from toilet. Another issue was steps and this was visible when we bought it and we were told it would be fixed before delivery. It worked for 2 days and started acting up again. We were told today that it would be 300 ish to replace the step kit. The windshield had several pits. We were promised they would be fixed. Only two were. The largest one wasn't. The said it was as much as they could do. We took the Coach into a RV repair place for maintenance since there was limited paperwork given to us on previous maintenance. The mechanics have found a fuel leak, and with levelers and slides that needed work. We feel that these should have been disclosed. This is going to cost over 4000 dollars. Another problem is that the the finance guy says he sent off the paperwork to AZdot but Arizona says they don't have paperwork . We have 7 days left before temp plate expire. The salesman and the mechanic we dealt with were great, but it was apparent that Manager was not allowing for these items to be corrected. But it should have been disclosed that some work was going to be needed. read more

The unit had water marks and streaks on the exterior which we were told many times would be cleaned off by their detailing crew that was the best in the valley. We agreed on price and terms and interest rate. So a week went by before we were scheduled to pick it up and during that time the interest rate jumped up by 1%, they were not able to clean the marks off the exterior and the salesman was no where to be found when we were leaving disappointed with our experience. Okay .... I get this crazy idea to buy an RV. I am retiring in 2 years and it's time to start getting ready for those 'golden years'. What a better way to tour the country and to see life for what it really is, than in a motorhome. I must admit I knew nothing about motorhomes; absolutely nothing. When I first told my salesperson this breaking news, he told me not to worry, as I would know everything about them before I left their lot that day, and he didn't let me down. Within the hour, I had found what I felt to be the best motorhome value for the amount of money I wanted to spend. "Let's do it", I said. Back to the sales office we went. I filled out the proper paperwork for financing hoping all would go well. Well, it didn't. Unfortunately, I have a hiccup from a couple of years ago, and I was not able to finance my new "escape from reality" motorhome. So, why am I writing this review ?? I'm writing this review because I was very impressed by the way my salesperson, Flip Phillips treated me through this entire process. Flip asked great questions to find out exactly what type of vehicle I was looking for. He answered all of my questions, and helped me pick out my favorite without any sales pressure. I would also like to thank Al, who is the Finance Manager, for going above and beyond what a normal vehicle lot would do to help a buyer get financed. Al did everything he could to get me approved, but it just was not meant to happen at this particular time. Al treated me with the utmost respect, and also offered generous advice about what I needed to do to make this purchase happen down the road. I truly wish to thank both Flip and Al for their professionalism, but most of all, I'd like to thank them both for their people skills. I was totally impressed by the way I was treated. I was a little Leary when I first looked at consigning our 2017 Heartland Road Warrior 5th wheel. Being that the unit was less than a year old, I knew we would lose money, how much was the big worry. Jack told me what he thought he could net us and I decided that was acceptable and I signed up for 90 days. At about the 2 month mark, I received a call from Jack telling me they had a buyer. From that point Michelle took over and handled the paperwork. If you're needing to sell an RV and you're realistic about what it's worth, I highly recommend RV Consignment Specialists. I purchased a class A Diesel from this place in August. I am mainly writing this review for out-of-state buyers with the hope they can avoid negative aspects of my buying experience. I contacted the dealership and got a call from Ken who was helpful in answering my questions and friendly. I explained to him the picky nature of my personality and I think he really tried to accurately describe the condition of the MH I was interested in. There was some sagging in the ceiling he made sure to inform me of. He also informed me of "some checking of the paint here and there." Because I had a previous MH with this issue on the caps, I came away with the impression that was pretty much the extent of it. The reality is the coach had lived in Texas and Arizona, and heat exacerbates "checking" condition - the entire coach is affected. This is a cosmetic issue so not the end of the world. But it will significantly affect resale. I was informed the buying process would include an inspection. But my lack of due diligence precluded me from realizing there are some basic items covered in their inspection but the major and more important items aren't considered; for this reason I recommend getting an inspection from a third party (I believe they would allow that) to inform the buying decision and justify the negotiations with respect to price. One nice thing they did was fix the sagging ceiling. Unfortunately this came at the expense of staining (one large spot on one of the seat cushions) the leather couch with the adhesive material used. I've asked for some help with that since I have a picture of the couch prior showing no stain, but at this point I believe I'm stuck with it. I will have to have it reupholstered or replaced. Additionally, I spent an hour or so cleaning all the other spots from the walls and floor. Upon picking up the MH, I was assured everything on the inspection list was tested and operational. Strangely the MH was not hooked up to water nor was there any water in the tank. So I didn't verify that the hot water heater (Auqua Hot) worked or that there were any leaks. Turns out when I stayed the night half way home (300 miles) the water was barely warm for a shower. When I got home I found the kitchen faucet leaked from underneath and out to the living room floor when I turned it on. I tightened the water lines and took care of the leak. But I had to take the MH 75 miles away to have the Aqua Hot fixed (bad thermostat). They did cover my $200 deductible, but it cost me $100 in fuel which they would not cover. Huge mistake on my part taking the word of the tech that all was fine and not verifying myself. Other items I was not happy about: black paint overspray on the cargo doors from panting the metal frames; huge rodent nest above the fuel tank; and the overall cleanliness of the interior, mainly the adhesive that stained the couch (see pics). In the end I got a nice MH in the size I wanted with great features at a decent price. I will have to spend several thousand more to make it as I hoped it would be. I'm not sure what to make of my experience. I'm not going to say the tech lied about testing all the systems because I failed to verify. But he did tell me that he filled the air mattress in the pull-out couch and it worked. It did not work and I had to buy a new one. So I'm inclined to think that may be a sign. Ken, Joe in finance and and Michelle in service were great to deal with, so my conclusion is they don't have a personnel issue; they have a process issue, which puts more onus on the buyers making sure they are satisfied with the systems their inspection does cover. I suspect local buyers would be less likely to encounter the same problems. So to reiterate, I hope this review can help out-of-state buyers have a better experience than I did. read more

Consigned our toy hauler in April to them. The "hype" was it would be sold very soon. The contract was valid until end of July. No communication from them during the term of the contract. I did email and call several times to voice a concern the listed price was too high. Received a call at the beginning of August to say several people were interested in the unit. No follow up on that, until I called to let them know we were taking the unit back. Then the cranky salesman complained they were trying their best to sell it. WRONG!!!. They did not do their homework to find out about the specs on the unit. Would not recommend doing business with this company. read more
