The person who ate them complained about how good they were because he over ate... We just laughed. "No one made you eat everything." I went there yesterday and was pleasantly surprised that I was the only non-Hispanic person in the place. I ordered and had 6 Carne Asada and six Al Pastor Tacos with cilantro, onion, and their green sauce and was very impressed. No one in town charges more for a beer than this place. For example, I enjoy local IPAs and Creature Comforts (Athens) is everywhere. My wife says one of the wines she likes is a little less than other stops, so that's good. But other drink prices tend to be on the high side as well, but most in town have higher liquor prices. That adds up if you like to frequent a place. Hence, we stopped frequenting. Overall, I like the decor and as noted, the food is decent. The upstairs is better than the downstairs but I'm glad they have the downstairs for some occasion when they could get busy. As for the Tavern / entertainment element, I've never seen any live music but they have several TVs. Not sure this would be my top choice to watch a game but it would work in a pinch if the other places were too busy or noisy.
