Originally 3,star review I'm going to have to add my 2 cents to my wife's review. First it seems this owner can't take any criticism over his food or that his kitchen can make mistakes. We ordered two cheesesteak one their way with their roll flown in from Philly and their recommended way. And one garlic cheesesteak that was supposed to be made with mozzarella. The owner claims he made it the right way, but I can tell the difference between mozzarella and American cheese. It's the texture one is creamier. I only ate 1/2 because I can't stand the texture or flavor of American cheese. My wife did complain about her steak and cheese saying it lacked flavor, she ate my other half of the garlic one today for lunch and said that was good and would order that if we decided to go back. I hate to be critical, but when you advertise authentic Philly rolls and New York pizza dough made with the "perfect" New York water, it sets a certain expectation. After a week of infusions, I was really looking forward to a taste of home, which made this even more disappointing. The cheesesteak sauce was far too sweet, and the roll was burnt to the point that the burnt flavor was all I could taste. I also ordered a half Boardwalk/half NYC pepperoni pizza, and unfortunately the bottom of the pizza was burnt as well and sweet sauce . I was hesitant to even try the cannolis. They had very little filling, barely any chocolate chips, and looked like they were melting. Spending over $60 plus tip in today's economy for food that wasn't enjoyable is incredibly disappointing. Experiences like this are exactly why I rarely eat out anymore. I was genuinely excited to try this restaurant, and ended up feeling let down. read more

This was my first time eating at this establishment,visiting from another county we wanted to try a mom and pop pizza place so we stumbled on this place looking at yelp reviews. This is small pizza place with only a few employees and a small seating area, the building is next to other businesses and by the Publix very close to where we stayed which was another reason we picked this for our dinner meal. This business has listed on their door and on yelp that they close at 10pm but upon arrival we were told they were closing at 9:30Pm, not that I was very disappointed because it felt like I was walking In to hell with how hot it was in there. I am not sure if their ac was working or they just had the ovens at full blast but it was a much better idea that we take the pizza with us and eat it else where,the girl at the counter was nice about them closing early. The pizza was pretty good and was not as greasy as other pizzas I have had that end up giving me a stomach ache,my sons really enjoyed the pizza and the large pizza was big enough for four people but the price came to $27 witch is a bit high for one large pizza. Overall, good pizza but a little pricey they also offer subs and salads and even wings in their menu. I will have to try something different when I visit this area again. read more

Today I tried the vodka sauce with chicken cutlet pizza and although it was amazing I think I prefer their regular sauce. And in the name of science,LOL, I tried some slices yesterday from a different restaurant in Tampa that imports New York water for their pizza. Although the texture, greasiness and sauce were on point, the dough was completely tasteless. Seems Anthony and Luca imports their dough from up north and lets it sit and ferment for a few days, which is why their dough tastes so amazing. My waistline is going to be in trouble, LOL read more

We got our pizza for takeout and the process was very easy! We ordered online and it was ready when we got there. They also have an option to order there on a tablet and plenty of seating inside the restaurant if you choose to eat there, which is nice. Stopped here a couple weeks ago with friends from KY. This Sunday lunch we were invited to go here from church. I explained that I was not impressed with the "well done" pizza. They said neither were they but you can ask for it not as done. I was skeptical so order the Meatball Sub with their (delightful) long peppers. Our friends ordered a couple pizzas and they were terrific. I tried the Carnivore pizza, excellent. Service was great, pizzas were perfect and my Meatball Sub was delicious. I've heard good things and wanted to check this place out. We got a large pizza with cheesesteak topping. This way, I get a taste of 2 things I wanted to try there. Pizza itself was good. Crust was good and not too thick. They brought the cheese all the way to the crust, which was appreciated. The pizza itself had no sauce though, which really surprised us. I can say that is not typically how a pizza with cheesesteak is done in Philly (where in from). And the pizza is really missing that tomato component. I hope they rethink this for future pies. This new spot opened close to my house in Pinellas park so I wanted to give it a try in hopes it can be my new pizza spot. I got a medium NY style pizza with 2 toppings. I paid 20 bucks for this, so it was on the high end for a medium pizza. That being said, I'm a little disappointed there was barley any pepperoni.. The sauce was good and so was crust, but it was hard to eat because ends of the slices were very soggy. It was just OK. I'd eat it again but wouldn't go out of my way. Fry's were hot and a good amount for two people. Dining area was clean and orderly. My only suggestion was there were three partial pizzas displayed in a glass case at the front counter that looked very tired and should have been replaced or just removed ...you all know what I'm talking about . We were excited to try this place based off the hype and their posts. Their pics of the cheesesteak looked amazing! Sadly that was not what we got. Ordered a small white pizza, fried ravioli and a cheesesteak with provolone, add mushrooms and green peppers to eat there. Not sure how they cooked the cheesesteak but there were red parts that seemed like raw meat. (See pic) The flavor was just weird and way off to the point I couldn't finish half of it. It's disappointing when the posts look fantastic, then you end up with that. Not trying to hate on them but the sandwich was just gross. I just love a great Philly cheesesteak. Walked in to this restaurant for the first time and made note of a pleasant little eat-in space, and then we approached the counter. The first thing I notice at the ordering counter is a hand written message- - I think it was written on a to go container- - imploring you to "tip in cash because if you tip on their credit card terminal, the employees don't get the tip". Say what? I casually questioned that with the cashier, because that is....concerning. Cashier shrugged it off and seemed to suggest that it was maybe a temporary condition there. I hope so. I check for cash. I'm good for the requested cash donation to the employee's wages, we order. After a w h i l e our garlic knots appear. They were served piping, nuclear hot. A substantial amount of a clear dipping liquid was available in the bottom of the basket, if you desired it. I had the knots with the side of tasty marinara. The Philly came out a few minutes later. Have a little patience, as it takes some time as the ribeye component has somehow been pulverized to an impressively smooth level. It is then carefully prepared with added onions and the curated cheese they feature. It is eventually served with the visual appeal of an elongated glob of a cheese-y meaty paste-like concoction on a lovely, mandatory, amarosa roll. You can taste the quality ingredients. And other than the Amarosa roll, you conveniently don't even have to chew it. They get a bonus point from me for having cherry peppers. 1 sandwich, 1 order of garlic knots, 20% cash tip: $30.02. read more

I ordered a pizza through yelp via grub hub. I did not realize how far away it was from us. I decided good pizza is always worth the drive. The guy at the counter was super nice. Our pizza was ready. It felt like we made the right choice. The vibe inside the shop from the other customers was off so the kids and I decided to eat in the car. First look at the pizza and it looked delicious, but hella greasy. We also ordered a pepperoni pizza and pepperoni was only covering about 2/3 of the pizza which was kind of funny to us but yolo. I am so mad, I think I may throw this steak sandwich out. I went into the Pinellas Park location this evening at 7:45 and ordered a steak sandwich. I was originally going to Moe's Southwest to get food, but saw Anthony and Lucas. I had seen a Value Pak ad for the restaurant and decided to try it, even though I did not have the discount flyer with me. Other people came in who had ordered for pick up and they were taken care of. I had been told at 7:50, when I ordered and paid that it would take 10 - 15 minutes. It took 40m minutes, until 8:30 to get my food. AND people walked in and ordered and got served before me. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE, No matter how the steak sandwich is, I would NEVER go back. For a fairly new business looking for customers, this is the way to make me want to see you CLOSE asap. Absolutely HORRIBLE service. DO NOT SASTE YOUR TIME. read more

We got a pizza, knots and an order of the rice ball. I would say the price did not equate to the quality level of the food. I am thinking I would not go back because it was not worth the drive from Seminole, but it was not terrible, just not that good. The pizza looked nothing like the pictures on yelp, it was very blonde crust. The rice balls were very small for the price. They chop the meat nice and fine, use Amarosa rolls (which are the best) and mixed in the Cooper sharp American cheese. Wow!! The service was great, friendly and welcoming!
