The only reason I'm giving this an extra star is because the 2 ladies that worked with me did what they could but didn't seem fully trained. I scheduled a new client adjustment followed by a massage. I was taken in for the adjustment and about 5 minutes in a "case worker" came in to watch with no explanation. You're not in the most comfortable positions doing this and not sure why you would have someone watch. My massage was scheduled next but the case worker took me into another office where they tried to push me to but a package to come back. When I said I'll see how the visit goes and think about it they said I would never be offered that pricing again. Mind you I only came in for some minor pains not an injury. It was a very awkward conversation and I declined multiple times. I was then taken to the massage in the "spare room" the table was so shaky I got dizzy multiple times and thought it would break, no warmer and a dirty blanket. There was no music in the room and the walls were paper thin. I could hear 10 different conversations and loud banging through the whole massage. If you're going to offer massage you should provide the same experience as going to a massage spa. If not just offer chiropractic services. I think they are really just out for your money. read more

I have had great treatment here for many years. From chiropractic care to allergy treatments to massages to botox. They do it all.

I visited my boyfriend from out of town for the New Year. As a surprise, he scheduled me a massage earlier in the week. When scheduling my appointment no one told him a consultation was required for a massage. I personally don't trust chiropractors, so of course I was surprised of the massage requirement. I may have considered the consultation-massage had the young, no customer service skills female done her job better. Upon arrival to the facility my Sweetie approached the front desk to a short, petite, thin female with dusty light brownish hair, and fair complexion, wearing white crocks. She did not appropriately greet him, never smiled and apparently volunteers her services since she appeared bothered to be assisting him. After taking what felt like 10-15 minutes checking him in, which I couldn't understand since he's NOT a new patient, he asked to check me in. She literally, I mean literally, asked him to spell my name 5 times (btw... my name is not uncommon ). Really?! She then asked for my ID. Seriously?? Had she asked for my ID at the onset she could have had all the information she needed to check me in and then some (insert face palm). This is when she informed us that a consultation was required for a massage. Again I say, I may have continued with my already scheduled appointment had my first initial experience in this office been welcoming with top notch service. Needless to say, I canceled my appointment and sat in the lobby waiting for my boyfriend and scheduled my massage elsewhere. As I was searching through yelp looking for a massage parlor I realized this establishment was rated 3.7 and now I know why. "You only have one chance to make a good first impression", thanks to little Ms. Sunshine at the front desk, your business FAILED! Why would I want someone who clearly doesn't like her job to work on my back. Uh, no thanks, I'm good. Fast forward 30 minutes later, I'm still sitting in the lobby and I have to say, the red headed female who is now sitting at the front desk, is killing it!! She greets everyone with a smile and a warm good morning or hello, the moment the clients walk through the door. If she had been the one to help us when we arrived I may be getting a massage as we speak. Do better Anthony! On Saturday, 10/26, I arrived for my appointment for medical massage and chiropractic adjustment and found that I was scheduled with a different therapist than I had scheduled 2 weeks prior. I had never used this therapist before, and nobody asked me if this was okay. However, I was willing to give him a try. By about 10 minutes into the massage, I was pretty certain he was only using 1 hand and his elbow the entire time and he kept massaging the same muscle group repeatedly. I could also hear the "spa music" near my head, which sounded as if it was moving from left to right with his movements making me suspect he had his cell phone in his hand. I was face down during the massage. I raised my head quickly to confirm my suspicion and found him holding and looking at his cell phone. I asked, "are you massaging my back with your phone in your hand?" He began stammering and saying, "I'm sorry, Ma'am." I asked to see the screen at which time he clicked the screen lock, turning the screen dark, as he turned it toward me. I asked him to leave the room so I could dress. He repeatedly said, "Ma'am, I'm sorry." I immediately reported to the manager who appeared empathetic to what I was reporting. She said someone would call me early next week, "probably on Monday" to discuss this further. A week later, nobody has called. I called Anthony Chiropractic today and confirmed that Channing is still working there. I'm APPALLED that Anthony Chiropractic does not take a complaint like this more seriously. read more

I spoke to a lady on the phone. She asked if I wanted to come on the weekend for an appointment to get a massage and chiropractic. She said the massage appointment would be with a male and asked if that would be okay. I said I prefered a female. So she booked me with a female for today 9/26/2022. So I walk in and no one acknowledged me to tell me they would be right with me. After a few minutes, a lady said she could check me in on the other side. I felt kind of rushed filling out the paperwork but she seemed nice. I am escorted back by a guy that was nice and shook hand and told me to follow him into the back room. He never told me his name or told me what he did there. I didn't know if it was a chiropractor or an assistant. I go into the room and it's the massage room. He was nice and told me the instructions. After a couple mins, I came out of the room and see him. He asked if something was wrong. I told him I was sorry but I requested a female. It was EXTREMELY awkward. So I go to the front and let them know and she said, "Did you request a Female?" I said, "Yes, with a lady over the phone." After being embarrassed and awkward, I told her I was going to cancel the visit. Pretty bad experience after a fail from staff on communication. I'm not sure how that even happens? I wanted to get adjusted and a relaxing massage and they just gave me more stress. Horrible! read more

The care is satisfactory, the facilities are clean and in decent order. However, their billing practices are a shambles! They have refused to properly bill my insurance company, and when this was brought to their attention, they stopped communicating and reported me to a collection agency. This company is unethical and one would be well advised to seek care elsewhere. read more

Had a massage session with Stella today. Very sweet lady who genuinely cares about her patients. However, she is much too chatty. Talked the entire session so I couldn't relax. I specifically needed work on my traps and neck ONLY and told her this. It's my physical therapy. She would start and then almost immediately move to another area of my back. Not focused because she was talking so I would repeatedly have to ask her to go back to my shoulders. She hears your request and means well but doesn't stayed focused or deliver. Referred to this place for Physical therapy. Parking is ample and facilities appeared to be adequate. I spend several weeks going there for treatment a least 3 times a week. Most of my contact were with three employees. James, Julia and Nora. My last two week Nora was replaced with a young pleasant lady I believe was Rochelle. James and Julia as well as the new lady were very pleasant, profesional and very easy going. Nora while there is nothing really bad to said was somewhat uncaring and perhaps she should had been more suitable to perform work involving no people at all. Otherwise my experience was extremely positive. Would recommend this place to anyone needing and or requiring their services. read more

I didn't want to see another chiropractor considering the lack of progress I've had elsewhere, I've tried 2 other clinics with only temporary results and ended up doing PT with great results about 2 years ago. My mother really praised this clinic so I decided to give them a go. I've never seen another clinic as versatile as Anthony Medical & Chiropractic. I came in for intense pain in my traps due to extreme stress. My visit started with the NP, who administered injections to the muscles, this immediately took the pain down to almost nothing. I was adjusted by the chiropractor right after this, and finished the visit off with a targeted massage. Each professional addressed my concerns and provided helpful feedback based on their observations. They have everything you need to tackle muscle and skeletal issues under one roof! Physical therapy, chiropractor, nurse practitioner, masseuse, TENS therapy. I am so happy that such an interdisciplinary practice exists. It just makes sense. They also do whatever they can to work with your insurance and get your visits covered. read more

This place is AMAZING. All the staff are so nice, helpful, patient, and welcoming. The first massage I had with them (which sucked because the pressure was way too soft despite my efforts to get her to go deeper), the lady shortened my time by 20-30 minutes because her "previous client showed up late and she had to give her time as well"... I was displeased by this, but when the front desk staff asked about my first experience and I told them, they were upset for me and gave me a free session on the house. Although my first experience completely sucked, the next person I saw was PHENOMENAL and definitely made up for it. Overall, I highly recommend this place! read more

My neck and right shoulder got injured and I went here to get treatment. Everyone working in the Temple office is really kind and they took great care of me. Dr. George knew exactly what treatments I should have so I would get better. They have a variety of services. Between his adjustments, medical massage, tens treatment, ultrasound treatments, and the exercises he and Cassandra, (the best medical massage therapist ever) gave me, I'm so much better. I'm really grateful for the care I've received here. If you need help with pain or full range of motion issues, this is the place to go. read more

Very clean office, super friendly office staff and therapist and the massage itself was actually really good BUT I paid for an hour and only got 40 minutes. I arrived 5 minutes before my 2pm appt but didn't get in until 2:05 and then the therapist said she got busy talking to someone and didn't actually start until 2:15. Then at 2:50 she said she cuts off 5 mins to prepare for the next person (but that was 10 mins cut and not 5). On top of that she didn't even massage my feet, which was the main reason that I came. She said that some massage therapists include the feet in their full body massages, but not her. How am I supposed to know that? Anyways, just overall really disappointed because I wanted to start getting monthly massages and adjustments here, but if an hour massage is going to be cut short by a whole 20 minutes what's the point. read more

Have great things to say about the folks here. The Chiropractors here have all been very professional and knowledgeable. The massage therapists I have used have also been good at helping me relieve my neck and shoulder pain. The main office is very busy and sometimes waiting room space is scarce- but they are working on a new building. They also have a nurse practitioner in house for primary care needs. I've never had a yelp account before but this interaction has been on my mind since it occurred a couple weeks ago now, one because I was so embarrassed, but two because I was told wrong information yet somehow I walked away feeling like I was wrong. I purchased an invisa red for both my daughter (which I paid in full) and myself, which I put half down on my cc with the understanding that I would pay the rest on the agreed upon date. Kate met with me and did the demo for myself and my daughter. She was great, very professional and we were both excited about the possible results. I didn't have it in my budget to pay for both completely, so Kate said one of the mgrs agreed that half down on mine was fine since I paid for my daughters completely. I showed up to the office and upon checking in one of the techs mentioned I had an amount due. I explained what Kate had told me, then Angela (who was on her cell phone) interrupts and in front of everyone in the office says Kate shouldn't have approved that, she didn't have the authority to do that, and on and on. The tech and I were both clearly uncomfortable, although she tried her best to move on and get me set up for that days session. Angela finally getting up from the back desk, which she couldn't do sooner and privately address this, continues talking to me about this billing issue IN FRONT of the whole staff then still with her phone glued to her ear she walks towards what looks like a back exit from the office and says she is going to call Kate to make sure this doesn't happen again because Kate was wrong for telling me this etc etc. I told the tech she was rude and seemed hard to work for, even with Angela out of the office the tech still hesitated to comment, which honestly spoke volumes. She was great, we did the session then she made a note saying she would handle it then call me privately to update her. Truthfully if I could refund both packages I would. I was publicly mortified and wanted to crawl into a dark hole after that. So unprofessional, and her attitude was as if I had done something wrong. The tech and medical services are great. Your "office manager" is rude and lacks tact. read more

I liked the Dr, but their billing practices are unethical at best. Insurance co-pays are insurance co-pays. To disregard that and stiff the patient for more money is crooked. I'll never go back and will find another practice to use. read more

I have been an established patient for some time, I have been very pleased with my massages and adjustments. Last week while needing a well needed me day I felt interrogated by one of your employees. While checking out by a non familiar pleasant employee. I had one of your employees approach me asking me where I worked given my school badge, when I advised her of what school she then proceeded to question me as to where I lived. This is out of her scope to be asking me these questions. She then proceeded to tell me she has applied for secretary positions for the district. Then she spoke with another young employee at the front about what school their child attended within the district. This young employee had a very negative comment about the school. I have never felt so distraught after leaving a relaxing environment. read more

I love this practice. After years of spinal injections and narcotic pain medication, Dr McHorse has provide me with the best pain relief I have ever had. The medications were making me unmotivated and not well. Now I only take the occasional Motrin and am back to me. The office staff are fabulous and very friend. Price is more than reasonable. I am Pro-Chiro and have been ever since I started playing sports over 15 years ago! Being new to town I used Yelp and Google to help me find a local chiropractor since I will forever have a bad back, bad sleeping positions and probably not the best posture at all times. My main thing was to find a chiropractor that also offered massages, since I stressed daily and have permanent knotty shoulders. They were offering a special for new patients: $49 for a consult, adjustment and 30 minute massage which was just what I needed! Booked 4 weeks out because I wanted to get a massage for myself and my husband with two female massage therapist. Was told by the call center that we were booked with two females. When we went in for the massage....you guessed it. We were booked with a female and a male. Then the lady behind the counter argued with me that we were always originally booked with a male and female. I told her we were not....I booked 4 weeks out to be able to honor my request. The part that makes me the most mad is the person behind the desk made me feel like an idiot in front of everyone in the building--WHEN I KNOW WHAT I SCHEDULED. We were more than willing to wait the four weeks....because we knew we were asking for a special request. And the two people working there were not able to make their money....because we just left over the bait and switch. The $49.00 was not sure a great value when you don't even get it!!! My husband said I could still get my massage....but I just didn't feel right leaving him out especially when I planned so far in advance hoping he would feel comfortable. read more

Well the billing department is not fair or accurate whatsoever. They will tell you one thing and over a year later pop up with bills they say you owe. When you attempt to ask questions be prepared to be put off and get a different answer each time. The bottom line- you pay for their mistakes or failure to bill correctly. I really loved going here but it's so unfortunate when the billing/ customer service side of the house don't match the exquisite care received from the business. Oh and don't forget how they will treat you as if you did something wrong because the billing department dropped the ball. I am very aware the billing person isn't ever going to make it right because the person don't want to own up to not billing my insurance properly and in a timely manner. What a shame. read more

I've been going to the main clinic since August 2018. In November I had to see a different provider other then Dr. Will. This other provider did something and I've been in pain every since. Dr. Will did another adjustment to try and relieve my pain but it's still there. When he learned that I don't have anymore visits through my insurance he dismissed me as a patient. HELLO my shoulder still jacked up from something the provider did. I'm in more pain now then when I began. Unfortunately this is the only chiropractor that accepts my insurance. I need them to fix what they messed up in my shoulder. I think I have a pinched nerve due to the poor adjustment I received. Most people come for the massages. read more

Going for about a year now. Im about 2 inches taller and it helps with my back pain that is caused from Sherman's disease.

So I have used them for some time now and I mostly stuck with them because of their prices. The massage therapists are honestly no better then anywhere else. I stuck it there because I thought they were affordable. They moved into their new location and immediately their prices went up! But that isn't the worst part. I have always noticed that they seemed to be cheating me of my time more and more. For example the last 1 hour massage was actually 42 minutes! I understand that you have to allow time to dress and undress but this is way more than any place I have ever visited. I know they need to change the bedding but who says you need to start massages on the hour? Make my massage at 12:10 instead of 12:00 for example and change the bedding on YOUR dime and not on mine! Time to look elsewhere. read more

I was in a car wreck. Went here for pain relief all I got was s cold pack and tens unit. Two visits and no relief. Was charged over $500. They did nothing for my pain or my headaches. I generally don't take the time to give reviews but I think in the interest of being a good neighbor I thought I would take the time to post my concerns. They have some nice people that work at their facility. Most (albeit certainly not all) of their massage people are adequate. I have been going to Anthony for a long time largely because their old and new facilities were located conveniently for me. I have noticed since they moved to their new facility the already in place "production line" approach was moved to a new level with a new expanded focus on speed of service. The "speed of service" approach works well for a production line but I believe should have limited applicability to a service business. Does a massage billing time start on the hour when walking to the therapy room or when the massage actually starts -- very confusing? Does the massage end when on the hour of the appointment end time or when the provider needs to prepare the room for the next person -- double standard? Does time "paid for" equal time of "executed services"? It is difficult to know the experience and/or skill level of the provider that will be rendering the services if efforts are not made to schedule (and pay) well in advance (and many times even if appointments are made in advance the scheduled provider may have been rescheduled) and if the customer has to cancel because of a busy schedule then advanced appointments are no longer allowed. In other words Anthony can (and does) change out (i.e. reschedule) providers when it is necessary to meet their "production" schedule but when a customer reschedules Anthony moves the customer to a new payment and appointment schedule -- double standard? There are simply too many other excellent providers in Temple to accept these double standards and "production speed schedules" so it is time to move on. This is really too bad when some very minor changes to process could be made. read more

I found myself in great pain and in need of some relief STAT! Having been a nurse for years, I knew that I needed urgent care. Dr. Chris Price was professional, knowledgeable, and conservative with his treatment plan. After only one visit, I am 95% better! Jared, my massage therapist, is fantastic! Gentle and firm. He communicates throughout the massage so as to not hurt you more, but remain effective. The combination of these two health providers is working amazingly well for me. My husband and I were told up front what our flat rate would be for each appointment. We set up so many appointments. All of a sudden, we got two bills in the mail dated from 2-3 weeks prior. We had already been several times since the date on the bill. When I brought the bill to their attention, they seemed confused then told me that they had been undercharging us and our insurance came back and we now are being back charged. They had continued charging us the original price even after we had received the bill, it wasn't until I brought it up that they told me the new cost. I obviously wouldn't have scheduled out so many appointments had I known they hadn't run the insurance yet. My mistake. When we tried to address it, they admitted on the phone that they had messed up and that a billing manager would be in contact with us. No call. We called back and were told the same thing. Still no call. I get a call a few days ago saying that we need to pay because it's going to collections in 1 week. When I expressed my issues with communication, they stated that they were trying to help us out by letting us know before it got sent to collections then proceeded to explain how insurance works. My mistake for trusting a price so early on but terrible communication and now we are out $450. Never will return and never will recommend. I have been to many chiropractors and am currently attending a new one and this is absolutely unacceptable. read more

I got a free massage because I went to the Rodeo and I filled out a little paper so I had won the raffle. I went there and I got my massage with Brandi. It was so amazing she told me what parts of my body were tense and i felt so much better after my massage. They always seem to be busy and they offer other stuff. I have been coming here every month or so for a 60 min massage from Brandi every time and my back and legs feel so much better they dont hurt anymore as bad. its 60 dollars for 60 min i believe. Will definitely keep on coming back as long as I live here in Texas :) super professional very relaxing music. read more
