While he can come off as a bit cocky, I prefer this demeanor from a surgeon. This shows me that they don't accept a failure or mistakes. My surgery went well and recovery wasn't too bad either. For anyone else with sesamoid problems, I highly suggest seeing Dr. Kazmer for such a complex issue. The nurses are great as well. The front desk staff of the office could use some attitude adjustments. They aren't so welcoming. It doesn't change how I feel about the doc. I'm still trust him with my family's foot care. One other piece of feedback, when making shoe recommendations, it would be good to have models or a list of shoe types that are preferred.

He is very friendly, the office is immaculate, well decorated, comfortable and open. He is very good at explaining what is going on, low pressure and is just overall a great guy. He puts you in heating packs on a massage table with electrical stim before treatment, and for me...its an instant nap and portal to muscle relaxation. Bravo! Parking is actually OK around the office (meters). There is a spot right outside that is a loading zone for 30 minutes. Easy walk the south or west loop areas. I used to go on my lunch hour. GREAT hours, flexibility and he's brought on another chiropractor to be in the office when he is at his other location in Algonquin...the other doc is also great. Also, his dog Lui, a big sweetie of a Boxer greets you in the front window. Bonus :) (He's on a leash though, so no worries if you don't want to talk to Lui, he doesn't mind). Dr…read more Weizner seems nice enough, but he perhaps implemented procedures during that check up that were unnecessary, because the next thing I know, my insurance is billing me $400 for what should have been a completely free check up. Mind you, I'm in perfect health and have no complications that would require non-routine procedures (like the ultrasound was not covered for example... I'm not pregnant.. I'm not totally sure what the ultrasound was for). When I contacted Dr. Weitzner's office, they contacted the BCBS office for me, but to no avail. I've had other check ups at other offices and never had a bill to pay at the end. When I explained my situation to his office (and spoke with him directly), they wouldn't budge on any of the billing or give me a break of any kind. Dr. Weitzner should be more up front when he is implementing procedures that aren't considered routine, so patients have an idea of what to expect in terms of billing.

And, it is a business. If you do not have health insurance, or are not part of an insurance network, take caution. Why? Read on. If cost is not important to you, or you have great insurance, read no further. 1. I asked each visit how much it was going to cost since I had to pay out of pocket, and was unemployed, which they knew. I did not receive a definitive answer from either doc nor manager. In fact, it changed from visit to visit. 2. I was given the option to make payments, but was never given a final statement and did not know the total cost. 3. An account statement was never mailed to me, however, a collection letter was. 4. I asked for a price closer to what insurance companies would negotiate. The answer received was, "I don't know what to tell you. Some are billed differently than others." In other words, we charge out-of-pocket customers whatever we can. If that's not enough: 5. I arrived for one appointment and was told the doc was not in that day. I was not given a courtesy call to let me know not to come in. 6. The orthopedic inserts are good, but I still have pain, in limb and pocketbook.

i've been running for about five years, ran my first half marathon the first year I was training…read more Then I started training for a full marathon and started pulling calf muscles and hamstrings in my training process. I would try a different chiropractor's, massage therapists, Electrical stimulation and laser therapy. They all worked temporarily to make it feel better but nothing stopped The problem I was having. I finally was able to run another half marathon in October of last year. While in my training I pulled a calf muscle again, took a week and a half off before the half marathon and felt good. During the half marathon I pulled my calf muscle again and hobbled my way through the race. (it was not fun) I took a couple months off, thinking I would heal up and be able to run again. So I started running again and I pulled a hamstring as soon as I started picking up pace. I thought it was a vitamin deficiency, a lack of hydration, not enough stretching, some sort of disorder. I was so frustrated and did not know what to do I asked around and was told to stretch, hydrate and see a doctor that does trigger point therapy. I didn't know where to start looking so I went on Yelp and found a chiropractor right down the block from me , ADDISON CHIROPRACTIC. I made an appointment and talked to Dr Mike Pagnoni, he sounded confident that he could help me. After two sessions I started running again. I was able to pick up my pace with no problems.
