I normally visit and have the same nail tech who is fantastic, Yen! This time I went with a friend (first time guest) for some much needed girl time and knew Yen would be gone but hoped the other techs would have similar quality service. Wow, I was wrong! I had Ann and she did a horrible job on my toes, I got gel polish. Caused bleeding on 3 toes, didn't cover my entire nail on a few and there was bubbling and peeling on the edges. I also had to refile due to sharp edges. I felt extremely rushed as well. For my nails, I got the dip but I had to file more than half of them because of the uneven shape and sharp edges. I had some bleeding around a few of my cuticles as well. The water was way too hot and when I said something she was rude about it. I did receive a 7 day guarantee card but I went during fall break (Oct 16,19) so I'm not sure I'll make it back in before my time is up. She also tried to up sell many times and get me to wax, which I declined, then she became annoyed. Overall, one of the worst experiences I've ever had. I know there are mixed reviews on this place. I had two experiences that were okay. Two different nail techs made me bleed a little. However, I gave it another shot and I am so glad I did! I discovered Yen and her husband Jon. I adore them and they do a fantastic job on my dip nails! I will be making appointments with one of the two of them from now on. As a long time customer, I am deeply disappointed in the new management and especially the new manager. It appears that other than using the computer system to track the technicians appointments she is using a dry erase board. This board sits at the front of the store and is tacky and unprofessional and it should not be seen by the clientele . The new manager was hovering over the clients, myself included, and it was very uncomfortable. She even went as far as to pick up my hand to inspect the work. There were two women waiting for a pedicure and instead of assisting to get them started she just walked around while they sat somewhat impatiently waiting. They have also done away with the OPI and other nail brands and colors that were so popular. It is a good thing that I have such a great technician because after several years of being a customer I'm embarrassed to promote the salon right now. read more

Not the best fit for Bridal Parties!! You will not feel pampered or special. We recently visited this past wknd for a bridal party. We got there right at 10:00am... I have a coworker who has always raved about this salon, talking about how good her nails look, they serve mimosas/champagne etc.. ((my coworker was shocked when i told her they did not offer us any drinks, this is the salon shes been to that served them drinks. )) Well the bridal party and i were there, I believe my tech. was james. I was shocked to see how fast he did my nails... i had never had dip before and told him this so i had to ask my friend if she thought i was done as he just handed me a card and walked off. my nails have a look like there is grit .... I am guessing thats because they are powder???? the color looks nothing like the sample nail. I was also super disappointed as he did nothing to my cuticles - no cutting or using any special tool or did not even push them down. Also was never offered any drinks -- the bride had asked during her pedicure and the woman shook her head and said no alcohol.. another girl asked when they stopped serving alcohol and she just again said no alcohol. As to the reviews and people i know who have been there, unless this is brand new this last wk - they have that kind of stuff ( i mean it looks like there is a whole bar there). they also spaced all over the place - we literally had to yell across the place to talk to eachother and wave to eachother. i wont be coming back. was not impressed and my dip $40 manicure took maybe 15-20 mins. read more

I went today with my friend at at most nail places they don't have enough space in the nail place to sit near each other but they put us next to each other and the workers came to us. i got acrylics. this isn't my first time getting acrylics i've had them before but this was different. The tool was extremely hot and the lady wasn't the most careful and burnt me a couple times. i woke up the next day and my nails were in pain and my nail bed was extremely red. but it was an okay place and very fancy looking. would maybe try again read more

I will never come back to this nail salon. When I walked in today, two of the mail employees were in a yelling argument and it was extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable to watch (there were many other customers there as well). I showed a picture of the nail color I wanted and the woman had no idea how to find nail colors and the nail color she chose didn't look a thing like the picture. While I was there, another nail technician completely rose her voice at her elderly customer and again made it extremely uncomfortable for everyone. read more

I was so excited to come here and get my mani/pedi. For paying $98 this was the WORST. I sat down for a pedi. She painted my toe nails first and then "scrubbed" and "massaged" which I thought was weird. The whole pedi experience lasted maybe 15-20 min. Their website says 30 min. Then got my mani. She barely pushed my cuticles back, left fingernail polish on my finger, and left parts of my nails unfinished, and nails bumpy. From far away it looks fine, but up close it's a mess. My appointment was at 7 and they close at 8. I'm not sure if it was because it was so close to closing time and she just wanted to get home or what. But they shouldn't have approved my appointment if they weren't going to have good service. I'm not sure this manicure and pedicure will stay on very long. Luckily I had a $50 gift card but I'm still upset I spent $48 for a terrible mani/pedi. I will stick to my hole in the wall nail salons from now on rather than come to a fancy place that does crappy service. read more

Have been to this location multiple times for convenience but I am starting to feel the price does not match the Service. I went with a friend for pedicures this week, we opted for the upgraded spa pedicure for $45 dollars which says it comes with extended massage and should last around 45 minutes. It was super rushed and we were finished in less than 30 minutes. So not worth the price. Also, they no longer offer complimentary wine which was disappointing. Will most likely not be back. read more

I only came here as I was given a gift card and deviated from my normal salon. The first time, I had acrylics put on and the second was one fill. I have no major complaints! Super nice staff and salon itself, really friendly and relaxing atmosphere. Only weird complaints are that they charge extra to shape nails (no salon I've ever been to does that) and the fill gave me different nail lengths on each hand (but not so noticeable it left an impact). I am so pleased with the service and skill of the nail tech I consistently see named Eunyni! She is one of the best nail techs that I have ever had my mani and pedi that I simply go to Anthony Vince because of her. The nail salon is beautifully well appointed and peaceful but it's Eunyni that is the sole reason for me continuing to come back every two weeks. Eunyni always is excited to see me and remembers my name and always offers me something to drink and is so kind and friendly. Take care of this great girl- she is the reason I return each time. I went there yesterday and my experience was awful. I definitely would not recommend it. It was the most painful manicure of my life. Along with having terrible results. My nails are uneven, misshaped, they look very messy and I could have done better. I kindly asked the lady if she couldn't use the cuticle oil as well as the lotion due to having a rash on my wrist. She ignored my comment and continued to lather my arms with lotion and oil causing my almost gone rash to get worse. After she lathered me with lotion she took a steaming hot towel that had not been rung out and placed it on my hands and when the towel was on she slapped my hands. I got a polish change that only took 3 minutes and was very rushed. I asked to clean the nails up because it uneven and got attitudes.

Each time I go it's like a mini vacation. I always make an appointment with Holly who does a great job on the dip on my nails and the gel on my toes. They have a Very friendly staff that are accommodating and know how to make your experience special. Holly always ensures to ask me if I'm happy with my service and of course I always am. Went in for a gel mani and pedi with some girlfriends for some pampering. The whole experience was very rushed and not relaxing at all. They just kept trying to upsell everything and we're not friendly at all. Pedicure was very minimal and the massage was less than 2 minutes. My nail polish has chipped less than 24 hours later, also I returned home to file my own fingernails b abuse the edges were sharp and catching on everything. I went here on a recommendation from a friend. Man, was I disappointed. I just wanted a basic gel manicure. First, the lady put my hands in boiling, hot water. I can take hot but this was down right painful. She was rough with my cuticles and made them bleed. No apology! The skin around my nails is always so dry and cracked. Other places I've gone have used a cuticle oil and massaged it to soften it up. This technician did nothing. It looked like garbage and I had to come home and apply some cuticle oil myself so the my fresh nails looked ok. But, the worst part was....I picked out a very light, whitish color (one I've had done at others salons with different brand polish and had no issue) ....after two coats it wasn't covering and was very streaky. She asked if I wanted a third coat...which I appreciated. However, that still did not work. She asked if I wanted a darker color over the top. Really, I had no choice because they looked awful as they were. At this point, I'm still tolerating the process. It's not a great experience but I'm not high maintenance either. Where I really got annoyed is that I was essentially forced to pick a color I didn't want. I choose 2-3 slightly darker color options (in the beige family) and was repeatedly told no. She pointed back to a light purple saying "this better". With the language barrier and my 6 year waiting, I was completely frustrated by having all the colors I choose rejected and just agreed to the color she picked (even though I was paying). So I left paying full price for a manicure I had to finish at home and a color I didn't pick. read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. THE BEAUTIFUL FACILITY IS DECEPTIVE, NOT GOOD!! The very first time I came in to try this salon and check out the services offered it all LOOKED aesthetically so beautiful. HOWEVER; I brought my 7 year old daughter because she deserved it AND to say the very least, was not treated well at all! The lady who helped us (Ann) was rushing us, was very short with my daughter, telling my daughter "that will not look good honey" "you pick other color" which I was taken aback by because she is 7, that's so rude to say to ANYONE and my daughter can get whatever color she wants because I AM the one paying! SHE IS 7 and it it the opposite of your job try to make her feel embarrassed and self-conscious about her personal choice in NAIL POLISH. You do not ever tell anyone, let alone a 7 year old, something won't look good on them because that's just plain rude, and degrading. Then the lady proceeded to rush her after my daughter was already upset because she did not really want the pale colorless polish the lady chose while trying to rush us out. She rushed doing her nails, many imperfections were noticed but it was getting late and I wanted to just get out and go home as well. I didn't want to fix it by wasting more time, and with a woman who was cold, didn't talk at all and clearly just wanted the money and to be done. I work double shifts every day of my life so I know how it feels to be tired and want to go home but you never should treat someone in that manner. Even so, I still tipped her $10 on a $10 transaction anyway in hopes she was just having a bad day. 2ND VISIT- THEN on 2-21-2019, my best friend wanted to get a full set and my personal nail tech was out of town so I decided to give Anthony Vince in Clay Terrace 1 MORE CHANCE. Holly took care of my friend. Ann took care of me (only because I was willing to give her another chance). My best friend & I chose the SAME exact nail shape, color, texture etc. We chose matte purple gel polish and an almond shape acrylic. Holly did an amazing job, talked to my friend, talked to me, was so kind and caring. Ann again said one word, took double the time it took Holly to do a whole new full set on my friend (AND CHARGED MY FRIEND $5 LESS THAN WHAT I WAS CHARGED WHEN WE GOT THE SAME EXACT SERVICES!) My friends looked so good but MINE on the other hand looked terrible, she cut my finger so badly under my ring finger and didn't even apologize, color was so uneven, there were tons of bubbles, bumps, Ann even proceeded to still file where she had cut my finger and didn't even say sorry again! I'm tough, I was in the military but she was so rough, I will never ever come back! I like to give second chances, I tipped Ann over 22% both times! When I called to fix it same day, I was first harassed to have ANN fix it but I said no, then I was lied to and told Holly was free at 4:00pm and that HOLLY would fix it when she wasn't free. When I got there 5 minutes prior to 4:00pm I was told "sit down, Holly will be with you soon". Then after I noticed Holly had JUST STARTED A PEDI & MANI, Ann came over and said forcefully, "it look like this because you wanted 3 coat, not my fault, don't ask for 3 coat next time" she also said "I make mistake so you let me fix it you don't ask for someone else" I felt harassed to have her fix it but I stated "my friend wants me to see Holly and I have an appointment with Holly so I'll wait". Ann then said " Holly have appointment she cannot fix" "you let me fix" she is busy! At this point if I didn't just have Ann try to fix it I would be late for work so I let her try to fix all my nails. After Ann tried to fix it, my whole set STILL looked uneven, polish on my skin around nails, horrible shape, color was terribly uneven and the tips were dirty not painted correctly even after I asked her to fix THAT! I had no more time to waste attempting to fix it. I am sincerely upset about my NOT 1, NOT 2, BUT 3 experiences here at Anthony Vince of Clay Terrace & after tipping over %22, 2 times & trying to give chances!! I really would love for someone to fix my nails or get my money back but honestly, I'm so upset I don't even care as long as I never have to go back here and this doesn't happen to anyone else. Very unfortunate that the service was absolutely shit because it is a beautiful salon. If you want to be bullied, come here. I came with my two girlfriends and didn't have a pleasant time. One of my friends had Ally, who was very nice and did a good job. When we first walked in we were greeted by our nail technicians, which was very thoughtful, but they began to pressure us to hurry and pick a color. One of my friends was getting a gel manicure and her lady (who did not have a name tag on) pressured her to get dip to spend more money, and she was not very nice about it. Once we sat down my lady Ann, who is apparently infamous for her bad manicures/ pedicures. I wish I had read the reviews first about her before coming here. She was aggressive, and not very nice. She asked if I wanted short nails and I said no, I just wanted them trimmed a bit but my nails are extremely short now, which is not what I wanted. She left quite a few hangnails and was seemingly careless with the drill device to chisel down my nails, it hurt. My nails are uneven and puffy. I paid an extra $10 to get a manicure and my cuticles were not cut back and she shaped my nails weirdly. I regret not taking action and saying something about it. She was very aggressive and bossy. Which I know they are supposed to maneuver your hands and fingers around but it was a little excessive. Some of my nails don't have polish on the sides and some of them do, it looks odd. My lady didn't even tell me how much my manicure was and took my card. Others had a worse experience than me but I've never had a manicure like this. My other friend who had the lady without the name tag, was very rude. She made comments about how her hands were hard to work with because she had short nails. I understand that it might be hard to work with nails that are short but she was very critical about it and told her that her nails would be much prettier if they were longer. She was very bossy towards her and proceeded to ask if she bites her nails. My friends manicure looked nice but it came with a lot of unnecessary comments. Overall the experience was okay. I have been into the nail salon now twice since they have opened, the first time I went in they were all very nice and did a really good job on my pedicure and dip manicure. I happened to have a free Saturday afternoon and decided to get a pedicure and dip manicure again. This place is very clean and so you would expect them to be good at sterilizing their tools and be sanitary. As I was getting my manicure done I watched one the the technicians put used tools back in the wrapper they came in then just shove it into the drawer to be used for the next customer. Less than a week after getting my pedicure I started having some toe pain, I did not think much of it until after taking off my sock one day and realizing my toe is infected. I expected this place to have all their tools sterilized and clean, but obviously they are not very good about that. I have been to multiple nail salons and have never had my toe infected after getting them done. read more

The atmosphere here is very nice and the receptionist friendly and welcoming. This was my first visit and I just wanted an inexpensive, regular-polish manicure. The nail tech would not stop pressuring me to have my nails dipped. For many reasons, I was not interested today, but despite my telling her so and saying I might do that on a future visit she continued to pressure me and admonish that my nails would chip within 2 days and I'd be wasting my money. She proceeded to apply the various coats without any care, including looking at a nail edge and opting not to run the polish over it. She seemed bent on showing me I was wasting my time; this nail job wasn't going to hold up. (Not if she had anything to do with it.) I can appreciate the desire to upsell, but a "no" should be the end of the upsell attempt and the customer should be confident she's getting the technician's best work. I was very disappointed in my experience. What started as a desire to freshen my nails and pamper myself on a day off wound up being stressful and apparently a waste of my time and money too. read more

I called on a Saturday to make an appointment for the following Wednesday to have facials done for three people. The man on the phone recommended that we come in at 9:45am so that's when we set our appointment for. When I got there on Wednesday, they informed me that they tried to call me prior to my appointment to tell me that they can only do one facial at a time. I checked my voicemail to see if they had called me and left a message, but not only did they not leave a message they also never called me to begin with. We agreed to let one of us go first and the women working asked if the $60 facial for 60 minutes was okay, we explained how we looked on the website and saw the "signature spa facial" for $35 and that was the facial we were looking to get. The woman insisted that I must have read wrong, which I didn't because I checked the website again after walking out. The issue was that each location does not have their own website so all the services are listed on the website and each location can pick and choose what they want to offer. It's a beautiful place and I would have loved to stay and maybe get another service done, but after getting mislead I decided to opt out of their services. read more
