I like being able to schedule online rather than call in. It allows me to see what's open and not have to ask so many questions. I easily scheduled my pedicure. I arrived and was greeted quickly. It was clean, well lit, spacious and professional. They have many colors in the regular polish section from which I could choose. That way I didn't have to get gel polish. (I decided an extra $15 for a product they would eventually charge me $6 to remove wasn't worth it this time. I'm not great at math, but I know that adds up to an EXTRA fee that is more fingers and toes than I have.) The tech was efficient, kind, and thorough. I needed a mani/pedi asap! It had been a long time and it was time ha. Never having been here they have a great special right now for first time customers for 10% off. They list all their service online and when booking it tells you the time frame each one takes. I booked with Linda for a spa pedicure and spa manicure. I love the massage chairs. The spa pedicure is perfect! It's smoothing your feet, a scrub and mud mask. I got simple French tips on my nails as well. I'm very simple--just want my feet cleaned up and nails painted. Nothing fancy or crazy and this place is now my favorite. Highly recommend from pricing to booking it was all perfect. They also have a bar so after a long day at work a perfect way to relax! The salon is very nice from an aesthetic standpoint. The staff is also kind but the quality of the service for the price I paid was very disappointing. I got gel nails done and aside from the fact that I didn't get any cuticles done or nails trimmed but the main problem that three days later, the nails started to chip ever so slightly and right at a week, it was terrible - like 4-5 nails were so so chipped. Every so often I will schedule an appointment for me and my grandma to come in and do a girls day and the staff is so kind with my grandma and patient with her. They do amazing with all nail services. When I schedule acrylic nail appointment I request for Chris. He does the best from what I have noticed and his French manicures are flawless. I keep trying to give this place chances but after the last two times, I'm just going somewhere else. 4 out of the 6 times I've been there, they've been stingy on the number of coats of nail polish they put on my nails. They only put two coats of nail polish on and that results in some areas of the nail being almost see through in direct light/ sunlight when it's hit just right. 2 of the times I've noticed before I got to my car and walked back in and asked for another coat. The last time it they started chipping a day after I got them done. Gel is supposed to last two weeks. This latest time that caused me to write this post, I noticed how see through the nails were a couple hours after I left but it was already closed. I truly did not feel like wasting my gas to go back either time. But today, 1 week since I got them done, I noticed that they chipping again. If I'm spending over $50 on these nails, I expect them to last the two weeks or at least not chip from normal daily activities. I reached out to this owner to let them know that I was burned by the hot stone during my pedicure. I was calling to let them know because it was clear that the gal doing the pedicure was new. When the manager pipped in that he would give me 10% off of my next visit I was insulted. I am burned. I do not know if this will scar or not and he is saying that he will give me a 10% discount. Pro tip - make an appointment with Ally. Trust me. I can't recommend any other techs here. Like most nail salons, Anthony Vince suffers from inconsistent nail techs. There are generally 1 or 2 amazing techs, and the rest are...not good. My first experience here was terrible and I vowed to never return. Being hassled to get a more expensive service, bloody cuticles, not relaxing at all, and of course my polish chipped the next day. I also find the decor awfully tacky; like your wealthy uncle's house in Boca Raton. Until my friend found Ally on Instagram. Her nail art looked amazing so why not try it again? My second experience was night and day. Ally was on time, personable, didn't ask to upgrade my service at all, and did an excellent job. She was quick but thorough and listened exactly to what I wanted. She's a perfectionist with her work and it shows. Ally is the 5 star tech at this salon. I will continue going to her. We went here with a group of girls to get our nails done before a friends surprise engagement the next day. Walking in I was excited to see how large the salon was, kinda felt like I was at a nail salon in a big city! I knew going in I wanted dip on my nails and normal polish on my toes. Loved all the choices for dip. When my tech came up to me she asked what I was doing and I let her know. She said you sure you don't want to do gel on your toes? I said yes and she rolled her eyes and then said well you can't put your shoes on for at least an hour. I'm fine with that and knew we would be hanging out there for a little since we brought our own wine. As we were here with a group of 6 people they did have a great pedicure spot in the back where we all were able to see each other, that was honestly the only highlight of coming here. I sit down in the chair and she places a bowl on my lap so my dip polish can soak off. She asked me what kind of pedicure I wanted and I just said a normal pedicure and she said you sure you don't want to upgrade- and handed me a laminated paper showing the different types of pedicures. Of course she kept pushing the most expensive option and she was an ogre when I didn't get it. I did upgrade to one tier above the normal but you could still tell she was annoyed. Another friend in the group texted us saying my person is being so pushy with upgrading and that it was uncomfortable for her, could not agree more. Then we head over to the manicure spot and it was honestly the most painful dip manicure I have ever had. I get them done every 2-3 weeks so trust me when I say I have had quite a few. Anyways she ripped up two of my nail beds, that even my pinky was sore for three days after. Overall I can tell you unless I am going here for an organized girls night I will not be returning. I went in today for a pedicure before going on vacation. I chose the basic spa pedicure for $35. My entire pedicure, from start to finish, took 12 minutes. Unbelievable. I knew when I chose the regular spa pedicure that I wouldn't get an extended massage, or anything additional, and I was ok with that. However, the massage I did get was about 10 seconds long. There was no scrubbing the bottom of my feet, either. I have never in my life experienced a "pedicure" like this, and will certainly not go back. Huge waste of $35. I did let the salon manager know prior to leaving, and he did not seem to care. I was told that I got everything included in the basic $35 pedicure. Ridiculous. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!! I went to this nail salon with some of my girl friends for a fun spa day and left in tears almost! My nail tech was Ann. When I first went in, I asked for a mani pedi. I wanted a gel mani and regular polish on my toes. I showed her a picture of what I wanted my mani to look like. She said "Yea, yea, sure go pick out your colors. That's fine." So, we went and she started with the pedicure. She was very pushy and kept on telling me that I need to get gel on my toes too. So I said sure, I guess that's fine. She also pressured me into getting a more expensive pedicure than what I originally wanted. The pedicure was over and she went to start on my mani. She looked at the picture I showed her several times. When it was time for her to do the two nails with the marble design, she said "Well, I don't have the right tool to be able to do the marble design, but I'm going to try to do it with this brush." So she tried doing it with the brush she had and when she finished it looked AWFUL. The lines were thick and it looked more like stripes rather than light strokes to create the marble design. I asked her to take them off because it didn't look anything like what I wanted. Even the other nails that were just supposed to be the color by itself, she had not gone over the layers properly and they looked lighter in some areas and darker in others. I had to have her touch up certain parts and still it was not done well. I asked to speak to a manager to explain my frustration and see if there was anyone there that could fix it for me. He was not helpful at all. They were all very rude. It ended up being 3 of them yelling at me. I paid $90 for a mani/pedi that I was NOT happy with whatsoever. When you pay that much money, you expect an amazing final product. That is not what I left with. Instead, I left almost in tears from the manager and the two nail techs yelling at me. Overall, HORRIBLE customer service. My friends and I definitely will never be going back and we will make sure everyone we know never comes here either. Such a waste of money!! I came here when they reopened after COVID and was pleasantly surprised with how safe and clean it felt. Everyone was required to wear Masks and they had Plexi glass set up at the check in desk along with the individual manicure stations. They also had hand sanitizer bottles everywhere. They were operating at low capacity by seating people in every other pedicure chair and people spaced far apart for manis. The service itself was pretty good but felt somewhat rushed. I know they are always trying to go from one appointment to the next but I started after my mom and finished before her. Not sure if the manicurist was going quick or just really efficient. When we were done they got us all set up to dry but didn't ask for payment. They just went on to their next customer. The owner of the salon came over 10 min later and asked for payment. I never expected a nail salon to allow a customer to leave with nails so poorly done. The nail tech looked at one of the nails and messed with it a tiny bit by rubbing it and putting alcohol and oil on it but didn't try anything further. It was a little disappointing. Every nail but 3 are bubbled and have lines on them. Additionally, the matte isn't over every nail completely so a little sloppy. I'll never go back. read more

I had high hopes for this nail salon. Unfortunately, it ended up being the worst manicure I've ever paid for. One of the girls in our group was bleeding from the cuticle trimmer. One of the employees were quite rude. My nails look as though I tried painting them myself...nail polish on the sides of my finger, several nails are bumpy from the nail polish not being applied well. I had made an appointment in advance after reading some of the reviews and knowing that I wanted to come here the Wednesday before Thanksgiving I assumed it would be very crowded. I had an idea in mind of what I wanted my nails to be like. I had never gotten acrylic before and was a little nervous but I had Lou as my nail tech and we talked a little bit about what I wanted before he started. He was very thorough in doing my nails which was nice. My nails turned out great!... The only thing that I would change about my experience is that I would have gotten them a little bit shorter. I'm typing this as my less than two week dip mani is already cracking and I'm needing to go get my nails done again. I went in for the first (and now last time) and was asked what I wanted- I showed them a picture of a design and they placed me with a man named Chris. First off the bat, he look nervous when I showed him my design. It just got worst from then on. He barely took off my dip, tried to speed through the process, didn't shaped my nails after dipping and when he started my nail design, he couldn't get it right so he started to just make up a design as he went. I told him to stop and just do something simpler since obviously this is too hard. Once I get up to pay and go to the front, the manager Justin, comes running over (the only time he speaks to me) and runs my card and WITHHOLDS IT FROM ME! When I ask for me card, he and Chris are pointing to a Venmo QR code for tipping. So basically they are holding cards hostage until you pay. Never in my life I had this happen to me. I finally get my card back, I tipped $5 bucks and told them that this isn't good customer service. I will NEVER return to this salon. It looks fancy from the outside but quite honestly, it's rundown and not well-maintained. Find somewhere else to go if you want a quality, lasting manicure. read more

He kept reassuring me that I would not get hurt, and did my nails all crooked. When I asked for the simplest request, he spoke in frustration. "I can't do that! This is all I have!" A room of chandeliers doesn't make up for the fact that the person doing my pedicure had to get up no less than 15 times to make appointments, answer phone, greet guests and pay out tips to other employees. There were 5 other employees just sitting around, not helping. There were even two employees that were sitting doing each other's nails. The first time I went to Anthony Vince was on January 27th and I returned on February 24th with the same perfect gel manicure I got in January with the exception of normal nail growth. I have never been to a nail salon before where my manicure lasts more than 2 weeks and this place exceeded all of my exceptions by lasting a month with no chips or peeled off polish. The salon itself is super clean and looks very elegant and fancy which is different than most salons. The staff is very friendly and they have plenty of mani/pedi stations and welcome walk ins. They also have a bar! Great place to spend your weekend with the girls sipping on mimosas while you get your nails done. At the end of your appointment they give you a card with the nail technicians name on it and it also says that if anything were to happen to your nails (chips, peeling etc). you can come back in and they will fix it for you at no charge. Do note that they require cash tips only but they have an ATM inside which makes it super easy if you forget change. I live downtown but this place is worth the trip up north to Clay Terrace. My search is finally over for the best nail salon in Indy. I just wish I found it sooner! read more
