Went for new set last Sunday with this being a holiday week.. I was busy and couldn't get back to have the chipping that started immediately fixed.... Not only that but I had wanted my usual cats eye but was talked out of it for a chrome polish which didn't work out but I'm like the color Is ok so I'll deal with it until next time. I went in today, first chance I had to ask to have nails fixed only to be told to come back tomorrow. No.... I've waited and paid for my service once and you need to fix your mistake.... I asked for a refund and then was told I needed to wait and again.. for another hack job? During my last visit they were too interested in trying to sell me on their "back room" spa.... No thanks.. I will be contacting my credit card company for a refund.. I tried to allow the shop to correct the issue but my time and inconvenience just wasn't their concern. This is the best nail salon in Indiana- I've been searching and I finally found a great place. Vicky is very attentive and cares a lot about her customers. Wow; the unprofessionalism here shocked me. I came in with powder acrylics for a fill. I mentioned this on the phone, and in person multiple times. I sit down and she starts clipping without confirming length, and chipping away the sides of my acrylic nails by my cuticle. I'm not a nail professional. I don't know how this works. All I know is I have powder and needed a fill. This woman then gets short and sassy with me saying she can't just fill because my nails are coming off; no sh!t lady you just butchered them to where they're about to come off. I mention again I did not want a color and only wanted a fill; she then offers to remove them for me. So she informs me if I want powder she needs to remove all my nails and place new nails which of course costs extra. At this point; I'm boiling. I say no thanks and remove my nails my self. I sit patiently and respectfully for my poor innocent friend sitting next to me getting her nails done. I didn't want to make a scene and have her nails butchered as well. My friend and I got pedicures done. They did the FULL SERVICE on my friend. I was impressed. I was getting my fingernails done while they were doing her pedicure, so I was stoked to finally be getting my dead skin off my feet! I finally get in the chair to get my pedicure. They did not remove my dead skin. I was confused so I asked if they were doing a pedicure because before I knew it, they were painting my toenails, and the boy said yes, this is a pedicure. When we were done, I addressed the issue of them not removing my nasty dead skin and I advised I would not be paying for a full service since I did not receive a full service. The owner started yelling at me and saying that the reason I did not receive a full service is because my friend's feet had more dead skin on them. Not sure how that works. I should have walked out without paying but I paid the rip off price off $99 for about 1/2 the service but I paid the rip off price and will never be going back. I will never recommend this place and in fact, when a nail salon is ever brought up, I will advise of the crappy work done here and will discourage any business being done here. read more

These nails were so bad I didn't even want to take a picture of them. I went here for my bridal nails and I couldn't be more disappointed. I got acrylics with gel. Looked horrible right off the bat and a week later half the paint chipped off my pointer finger. Oh and half the place is under construction. read more

I was the only one in the salon (as a walk-in). It was filthy! There were towels hanging on every drawer, a bunch of junk in the corner, and some rotten floor under a cabinet. The tech was sitting in a pedi chair soaking her feet when I arrived. My pedicure was decent overall, but I was cut badly on one toe. The lack of cleanliness would keep me from coming back even though my toes look fine. read more

I was very upset by their lack of customer service. After exactly one week, the gel polish on one nail chipped. As I had an event the following morning, I hopped in my car and went over. The owner was not there, but two male technicians were each with a customer. One of them told me very rudely to come back. I explained I had one nail that needed to be repaired. He asked if I'd called ahead for an appointment. No. Then, you come back, he said in a loud voice. I guess the sign "Walk-ins Welcome" is a misnomer. In any case, he didn't have to be rude about it. I've been to this salon a few times, and at least 2 times I've been I've seen women come back in to have something fixed from earlier that day. The last time I went was the final straw and why I will never return. There was only one actual tech there able to do nails. Her assistants prepped everyone while the tech rushed around to everyone to do the actual work. A young assistant came over to finish taking the old dip off my fingers while I was soaking waiting for the tech to do my pedi. The foil didn't get the dip off very well, so she started scraping it off my nails. It was super painful and when I finally said something, I noticed she had scraped all the way through my nail. I never got an apology. I showed the tech and asked her to be careful because it hurt and she never apologized either. If the tech didn't have enough properly-trained help, she should turn people away rather than rushing, hurting people, and losing customers for good. read more

This place gives amazing pedicures, even their basic pedicure includes lotion and a massage! Their chairs are also very high tech and are good for any shape and size because they adjust to your body type and leg length. There are a lot of color options too! My only complaint is that my manicurist was on the phone the entire time and my manicure was subpar :( However, my pedicure was great. read more

This salon was previously Glace Nails, where I was a regular and received amazing quality service by the older lady and gentleman that worked there (fyi, Ann is now at Nails & Co. on 161st St. ;). I have been to Greyhound Nails three times since it took over the space. I have never had a service provided. Each time I arrived to find only one or two customers and only the owner working. Each time she greeted me with a coupon for a $5 discount off another visit as she told me she was too busy and couldn't take care of me. She has doubled the amount of stations and upgraded the massage chairs - but for some reason she has yet to keep her business staffed enough to maintain even light traffic. I visited once on a weekday, once on a weeknight, and once on a weekend. She told me that I should have called each of the three times I attempted to be seen there. If that were the case, she should advertise as appointment only. read more

We are first time customers and set an appointment (for pedicures) because we weren't sure if they took walk ins. We got there and were seated to the chairs in the back. We sat there for about 10 minutes before they tended to the water. It was then another 20 minutes before we were tended too. They were busy, overbooked, and understaffed so I understand why they were running behind. One of the lady's started on me first and it was going well. The owner then started on my fiancé but unfortunately only tended to him for a total of 5 minutes. He soaked his feet for 30 and then got a massage on his calves and THAT WAS IT. Nothing was done to his actual feet. No scrubbing, no nothing. I don't call that a pedicure. Both ladies were incredibly rough. Even though I got more "service" than my fiancé did, we will not back. This was a horrible experience and not worth the money that was paid. I could have done his "pedicure" from the comfort of our home. read more

I took my daughter for a mommy/daughter pedicure. They have a pair of chairs that are sitting together away from the rest of the pedicure chairs- one for mom and one for child. It was so cute. This salon was the worst experience I've had getting my nails done. I went in asking for long, gel-dip ombre from nude to white. I ended up getting short nails that went from bright pink to white as they decided to do what they thought looked best... the nail ended up being at least 3 cm thick off my nail after being filed down. After not getting the length, color, or thickness I wanted, I ended up paying $70 for nails that looked worse than press ons from Walgreens. I went to another salon to try to recover my nails and ended up spending an entire hour for them to try to get all of the gel off of my nails with acetone. The new salon down the street was able to recover my nails and give me exactly what I wanted for $25 less. Needless to say, I will never be returning to Greyhound nails and will continue to go to Beauty nails instead. read more

First visit here. Not very friendly. My husband and I walked in and just asked what we wanted which was pedicures. The girl doing my pedicure played on her phone a lot. There was some strange guy hanging around kept distracting her and having her get out her phone. They offer drinks such as wine and then give you a price list. Charges for drinks? I've never been to a nail salon that does that. After my service I had to get their attention from them on phones to pay for my service. The price was a little high. $70 for two pedicures. My experience was just okay. The lady doing my nails was very forceful with my hands, jerking them around. She also cut me with the drill twice and didn't seem apologetic. I got dip powder & she used a gel top coat on them and put me under the light. I thought the point of getting dip was to not be under the light? I also think it's odd that they sell Rodan + Fields and other products in the salon. Don't plan on going back although my nails look good. read more

I called to see if they were open and the owner told me to come in even though the salon was closing. That alone was very nice of her to do, as many people are normally anticipating going home after a long day. I must say this place did not disappoint at all! I had two amazing and hardworking technicians (one started my pedicure while the other started taking the gel off my nails). They were honestly the most efficient and thorough nail techs I have been to. They cross checked their work gave the best hand and foot massages ever! Worst nail job I have ever had. If I could give 0 stars I would. I went in with my friend to get acrylics w/ polish. My friend had done dip powder and hers turned out nicely. However when it came to be my turn she used dip powder as well instead of polish like I had asked for. She then proceeded to cut my nails to be a coffin shape which ended up being uneven on every nail, they are all lopsided. The dip powder didn't even lay nice on my nails. It's very bumpy it wasn't smooth or even. I also had my finger cut pretty bad while she was shaping them and she did nothing about the dripping blood until she was done. Hello, As a first time customer I had a TERRIBLE experience this not with the salon, but with the lady that "did" my nails! I went friend her nails were taking care of perfectly and mine WEREN'T we had different ladies! As a result I ended up with a color I didn't pick (because she ran out half way through, she didn't ask if I liked it or wanted a different color!) and many mistakes! I wish I could give them a zero. I walked in with an appointment, nothing on my nails, and told them I just needed a quick basic gel mani and pedi. No need for massage, lotions, or anything...just polish and cuticles. I reluctantly paid the ridiculous price of $85 (with a small tip) for them to just paint my nails and do my cuticles. My polish was chipping by day 3 and on day 7 I just went somewhere else to have the rest of the polish removed because it just got worse. I suppose my bad luck with nail salons in this area continues! I decided to try out Greyhound Nails this morning for a mani/pedi before I headed to a beach vacation the next day. I arrive a little after 10am, and they say they're able to take me now and lead me back to a chair to start soaking for a pedicure. The nail tech who will be taking care of me turns the massage chair on without me asking, which is fine I guess. Perhaps she should've asked if I was interested it in first, however. Then she starts doing my manicure? While I'm sitting in the pedicure chair, with my feet soaking. Weird but I'm thinking maybe she's doing the first part like filing and removing any old color, etc. She then starts to trim my cuticles. The chair massage starts vibrating so aggressively that her hand yanks and she rips a piece of skin from my cuticle. Honestly the pain was so intense and unexpected my eyes started to well up with tears. I kept telling her how bad it hurt and she kept giggling and saying "oh yeah it's the chair's fault." Like why in the world would you use a sharp tool that can cut someone with the chair vibrating? And why are you giving me a manicure in a pedicure chair? To save time I'm guessing. If you didn't have time to to my nails, you should've asked me to come back later. She tried to continue to do my manicure but the pain was so bad whenever she touched my finger, I had to ask her to stop. I was also fearing the nail polish would get into my wound and cause an infection. Overall, such a totally bizarre experience - the worst I've ever had at a nail salon. The polish was old and thick....even after sitting under the dryer for 30 mins...I left the salon with messed up nails..the technician had to correct one nail before I sat under the dryer. I didn't want them to correct anything else for me...I will go and pay a better establishment to fix my messed up nails. It is my choice and money to patronize better salons read more
