They are located in Bridgeport mall here in the Oregon area, which isn't too far from where I live in Portland, OR. The biggest challenge often is finding parking. I like to arrive a bit early as I often stop in for a specialty coffee at Pete;'s, which is located next door, which is a bit funny since Anthony Vince nails along offers a variety of drinks including Champaign and wine offerings. The staff is professional and attentive and ensure that you are happy with their services / products. Pricing is not the cheapest, but it is also not the highest I have paid by far. I sat in a chair for an hour and a half and paid over $100 for a nail set that came out so crooked I'm not even sure it's fixable. My nail beds ended up becoming so irritated from the amount of times that the buffer hit them that that majority of the time I was there I was ready to leave because it hurt so bad. I received a gift certificate to this salon so I booked my appointment online and selected which pedicure package I wanted. When I arrived they had me sign in and then I selected the nail polish color. I was then escorted to my chair and was asked which package I was interested in, so I told them which one- I was handed a menu when asked this question and noticed that their prices are about $2 more than the menu online, which is fine but that was something I noticed. The pedicure was great! Anna was my nail tech and she did a great job. I will say that the amount of time my feet were in the water did not feel long enough, but that's just me. The leg massage I was given felt amazing, so I was pleased there. My nails were painted and then was left alone. I made a mistake by touching my nails and rubbed some polish off so I asked Anna if she could help me fix it. She did, she fixed it with no issue! I will say I was super embarrassed and anxious when asking for her help because it was my fault but she was super nice about it. The salon has some low (volume) upbeat music playing, which is great when it's quiet. It does get pretty loud when there's a lot of people talking but no issues there. At the end of your service they give you a little slip with the date, service, price, and tech. This is a first but I appreciated this because I am one of those people who doesn't ask for names but would like to know for future visits. Cindy is a magician! I came in asking for the impossible, but Cindy made it happen. I had hard gel nails from somewhere else which were way too thick, long, and grown out. I wanted them off and a simple short shellac manicure instead. Heres the catch, I was on lunch and only had an hour. Not only did Cindy do it in 55 minutes, but she kept the health of my nails in mind and gave me tips and instructions to keep them healthy, and she did such a good job with the rest of the manicure. Update: gel nail polish started lifting and peeled off, which is terrible since it should last at least 2 weeks. Big facility with standard massage chairs. I typically don't get my nails done because it never seems worth the price for the quality regardless of where I go and Anthony Vince was no exception. I don't get anything extra done to my nails regarding design or anything intricate. All I wanted was a rounded shape with a French tip but once I saw how wonky the shaping was I decided to just get a plain color (the same one as my pedicure - except I just realized they aren't actually the same color) so it wouldn't be so obvious how terrible the nails turned out. I asked to him correct the shape to even it out but he just further filed down the wrong side. At this point I lowered my expectations way down and just let him finish. Side note it wasn't until after the gel polish was applied that I realized he didn't ask me to wash my hands off before application. At least I got a light color that mostly hides the imperfections. I'd say it's worth getting a pedicure here since nail shape doesn't really matter as much and you just basically get them trimmed. Maybe it was just this particular technician and the others do a better job of shaping. It would just be nice to have an even nail shape from a professional, rather than paying someone to do a job that looks like I did it. read more

The nail techs seem to possess limited English proficiency and some have basic vocabulary - leading to misunderstanding of what I want done to avoid ingrown toenails, too short of a nail trim, not responding to questions, and appear rude talking to each other in their language rather than focusing on what they are doing. read more

I always come here for a pedicure which goes well, but this time I decided to do a full set. The pedicure didn't end up well my feet even with the basic one are soft aNd feel great. This time it was just my feet in hot water and some polish, I do like my nails on the shorter side and prefer square. Unfortunately they ended up the length of my original nails the tech cut to do the acryLic and they ended up an odd oval shape. the acrylic was also left on the thicker side. I've gone to AV for years but won't be back. I had a dip polish that I wanted removed and said that I didn't want any polish on top, just removal. All went fine and at the end, my tech pulled out what I thought was a clear coat. I should've stopped him but thought it was just clear, no big deal. Unfortunately I don't have the technicians name but my daughter just got her nails done tonight and she left with two nails that were bleeding at the cuticles. The technician actually let her leave with blood on them. She also told my daughter that she didn't really like doing nails when she first started there but got "used to it" Im very disappointed she had to experience this as getting your nails done has always a special treat for ourselves. I went to Anthony Vince again recently and did not have a very good experience. The tech I was assigned was very nice, but I am pretty unhappy with my manicure. I have been doing regular polish for a while to rehab my nails from consistent improper gel removal at salons, and have had some great regular polish manicures at other places that have lasted almost a week. This time, the polish chipped significantly within less than 24 hours. In addition, my cuticles look ragged and dry, when they were looking great before I came here. The total was $84 for a mani and pedi, with the mani lasting less than a day. Not worth it this time. read more

Normally, we love this salon. Last time we went in for mani-pedi with shellac on hands only - we were severely over-charged! Despite ordering the most basic package, we were given a bill for $150/ each!!! Looking at their menu now, we should have been charged $80/ each at most. Maybe I am overrating this but I don't go to a ton of salons. In fact I just dumped my last one for certain reasons. I've always been a stickler for professionalism especially when it comes to my money. AV reminded me of the many ways my other Salons are not professional. Allow me to list the things AV does that I consider professional 1. Employees are not using the salon as a day care 2. Employees are wearing something that at least resembles a uniform or a conscious attempt at one. 3. I don't have to go outside to use the bathroom. 4. The tools were purchased from a beauty supplier and not a hardware store. 5. They use hermetically sealed instruments not my pathetic baggie that saves me a buck. 6. There is a host and a receptionist that don't do nails simultaneously. 7. The polish is arranged by color. 8. Not that Gossip in a foreign language (or any language) among employees offends me, I would definitely do the same thing,, but I can tell it's frowned upon. 9. All the chairs work or appear to work and are the same. It sounds petty but many of these touches of professionalism will keep me coming back and will keep me from the other strip mall amateur acts I have been going to. Great service from all the employees we interacted with. There's a bar if you have to wait or you just want to party. My friends also got some pretty legit nail art. It's a little more expensive than your average nail salon/law office but you can tell where the money goes. Indulge!!! read more
