For a first time order on their app I wasn't paying attention at checkout and it automatically added a $3.20 tip for a 10" Carnivori pizza. That angers me. As for the pizza I'm not a fan. My experience improved as our visit here for lunch moved along. My sister and I wanted a quicker lunch (in the midst of our shopping) and we stopped in. It was not crowded, being past lunchtime, and we were told to seat ourselves (but I had to ask). Then it took several minutes for our waitress to come over and we had to ask for menus. After she brought those, she took our drink order. I thought that all a bit "slow and out of order." My sister was actually ready to leave, but I'm glad we stayed. The food was excellent! My sister got a cup of pasta fagioli and she ate it all. I got six wings with BBQ sauce. They were good-sized, nicely cooked, and I really enjoyed them. They came with two triangles of focaccia bread and my sister had one with her soup. The iced tea drinks were large. Our waitperson, Bianca, was very friendly and did try to get us what we needed, including a to-go cup for my tea. So in the end, despite the slow start, we were both glad we ate at Anthony's. read more

Stopped here a couple weeks ago with friends from KY. This Sunday lunch we were invited to go here from church. I explained that I was not impressed with the "well done" pizza. They said neither were they but you can ask for it not as done. I was skeptical so order the Meatball Sub with their (delightful) long peppers. Our friends ordered a couple pizzas and they were terrific. I tried the Carnivore pizza, excellent. Service was great, pizzas were perfect and my Meatball Sub was delicious. So big I had to take half home for later. We will be back with the family for a future Sunday lunch after church! read more

I personally did not like their pizza. When I ordered the pizza, wings and garlic knots bundle the entire order came out awful. The pizza tasted like cardboard with no flavor and super crispy and hard. The wings had no flavor and tasted undercooked. The garlic knots were doughy, undercooked and drenched with garlic and oil. I most likely won't return to this location. read more

My first and last visit and now I know why the place was empty at 1:30. I've had better pizza out of the Publix freezer. A 10 inch and it was almost $20 with 2 veg toppings. It was hard and tasteless. read more

Usually good.... but sadly... not sure what constitutes good service / quality food for them, but tonight's dinner most certainly misses the boat on both occasions. Showed up to a mostly empty restaurant, on a Wed.... Ordered spaghetti with meat balls for my wife and fettuccine Alfredo for myself... with a pizza pepperoni to go.... then we waited, waited, waited, the table next to us go sat and FED before us... the table outside got SAT and FED before us.... thats F' lame! then the table behind us SITS while we wait and wait, and eats and leaves! are you Fucking kidding me!!! then waitress shows up and asked if my wife wants to wait for her Fing spaghetti or switch to fetuchinni, but "if we wait is another 10 mins", which turned out to be 25 mins! insane! and finally they bring Wife's UNDERCOOKED spaghetti and my COLD (are you fucking kidding) pasta! The pizza is great, but unfortunately our experiences here have been uncomfortable enough that we won't be returning. There is an employee who repeatedly initiates physical contact with children--hugging them even when they don't want to be hugged. We've addressed it in the moment and asked that it stop, but the behavior continues in other ways (touching shoulders, repeated fist bumps, etc.). This has happened multiple times over the past year, and we were hoping it had been resolved, but it occurred again during our most recent visit. The food was good, but the service was awful. The server who was taking care of our table of 14 was absent and rude. She just basically ignored our table. When I asked her after we had been sitting there for 30 minutes if we could order, she said she had other things she had to take care of first and she would get to it when she could. Then when I ordered off of the five dollar happy hour menu it said that Tito's vodka was five dollars so I asked for a Cosmo and then they charged me $12. I guess a little cranberry juice is pretty expensive these days. When I ask complain to the manager about it, he said, sorry, we have no other way to ring in a Cosmo other than the full price. We ordered from a delivery service. I was soooooo disappointed in the hot honey & burrata pizza. They charge for burrata but it's barely even enough. The prosciutto is not cooked, it wasn't crispy like other places, it was limp. I had to add more mozzarella & throw it in the oven to get the consistency it was supposed to be. Been here a few times before and haven't been impressed enough to write a review, until now. Vincent was our first impression upon walking up and honestly set the tone for a great night. He opened the door for us and helped us to a table outside. Our waitress Rachel was very attentive and provided nice service. The team worked well together and helped with food as well. I just wish outside was a non smoking area. The gluten free pizza here is always great. The wings were good, a little dry and some a little burnt too but still flavorful nonetheless..There is a points system that is rarely mentioned, don't forget to ask about it ! The manager Vincent visited us again during our meal to ensure we were enjoying ourselves to which we definitely were. Overall a successful date night, and I was able to kick someone's butt in Uno. food is amazing as always. however, the iced tea was not good. My husband drank half of it and then order to Pepsi, but they charged us for both iced tea and Pepsi. I asked the server for silverware. She never brought it like ever. No refill on Pepsi. It took quite a while for her to check on us after we were done eating so that we could get our bill and boxes. While pricey for a pizza place, it's well worth the money. As the saying goes, you pay for what you get, and this restaurant serves up top notch pizza and waaaay so much more. From salads to chicken wings to pizza and beer, they've got solid menu offerings for everyone. Of course, I'm partial to their Eggplant Marino, their tuna salad is prepared the Italian way and is out of this world delicious and healthy. My sister LOVES their Maria's Meatballs and of course their specialty varieties of coal fired pizza! Aside from the food we enjoy extremely friendly and helpful service. The indoor/outdoor seating is abundant and feels very warm and inviting. For all these reasons and more I love this place! Can't wait to return to Clearwater. read more

This place has been consistently good for well over 10 years. It's a staple in the community.

The wings are pretty decent, just ask for extra crispy. The hot honey pizza is fire. Thin crust, not overloaded with toppings, good flavor. The coal fired crispy crust makes a difference; overall a solid pizza spot in SH. Only ordered take out & delivery so can't comment on ambiance or service, but damn is their pizza delicious! read more

Coal fire goodness is to be enjoyed at A C F P & W. Caesar salad was large enough for the four of us to share, and was fresh tasting and delicious. An order of broccoli rabe, and sausage was perfectly cooked and mouth watering. A couple of points were taken of for an order of chicken wings that were just to over cooked. A Margherita pizza and another with one half onion, and half pepperoni was one of the best coal fired pizza that I have eaten, and we will put this restaurant on our Clearwater restaurant list for sure read more

Great pizza. But a hard pass on the meatballs. Huge ripoff. They charge you $8 for two small meatballs. For $8 I was expecting much larger sized meatballs. Dinner for 4, including one large pie with toppings, one beer and one glass of wine came to $63 read more

An overpriced disappointment. I'll start off by saying I'm a bit of a pizza snob and have some great places to compare to so my experience may not be yours. I love coal fired pizza and now living in palm harbor those other places are too far to go for pizza so we thought we would try Anthony's. The prices were high. $20 for a 12" personal is a bit excessive even in 2022. We ordered the Margherita which I asked to be round not square just because ha ha Maybe an ocd thing And a traditional with pepperoni There was nothing tragic about these pizzas but I felt they were lacking amazing flavor even in the sauce to warrant a return visit. For the Margherita they were too lazy too pull off the leaves and just put the whole stem on there. The pizza was very underwhelming for the caliber of pizza this tries to be. BUT our cute little server was amazing! Delicious coal-fired pizza, quick & friendly service. Tried the local outlet of this up-and-coming chain on a recent Saturday night. Despite being busy, it was a very short wait for a table. The menu is simple - a variety of different pizzas, cooked in the super-hot coal-fired oven. There are a number of pre-designed pies, or you can create your own. We opted for a square margherita and a meatball & ricotta. Medium pie contains 6 slices. Time from order to service was less than 15 minutes; impressive given how busy the restaurant is and how long it takes to bake a pizza. Both pies were delicious. They're thin-crust. Crust is cooked to perfection-crunchy on the bottom, moist and slightly chewy on top. Plus the requisite bubbles and a little char around the edges from the oven. Sauce is sweet and rich. The margherita features slices of fresh mozzarella over the sauce, topped with sprigs of fresh basil. Yum! The meatballs are miniature and plentiful, the pie slathered with ricotta and a thin layer of sauce. Meatballs firm, nicely spiced. A great taste. Shout out to our server Devin for taking great care of us. Order taken, food delivered quickly, professionally and in a friendly and engaging manner. Thank you! This pizza is exceptional. The coal fire grill makes it a perfect crust that I actually want to eat... my sister is a vegetarian are turned me onto the roasted cauliflower. I won't even try any other pizza there as it's so flavorful with TONS of roasted cauliflower, Romano cheeses, garlic, red pepper flakes. The meatballs are so great--huge with burrata cheese and soft garlic bread. I so wish they had a location in my state but I'll have to wait for another Florida visit. read more

Very disappointed in this pizza. We waiting so long for our takeout and this place was very busy and unorganized. When we finally got our pizza, it was cold and a little burnt, but I waited over an hour, and I didn't wanna go back in to complain. At this point, we were all starving. When we got home we were looking for the salad as it was so small there was nothing in there and so much vinegar we couldn't eat it. The broccoli was hard and cold. Worst dish we ever had. Very disappointed AND definitely will not go back. Customer service very bad as we called to speak to the manager.
