I have been visiting Tony's Pizza for over ten years and the Pizza is consistently good. Two slices for approximately $10. I was craving some pizza today for lunch and stumbled upon this pizzeria. It's located in a very nice part of Dunedin. The ambiance is a great! As you enter the restaurant you're greeted by many displays of pizza with unique toppings which you can choose from. They sell pizza by the slice and I'm sure you can buy a whole pie as well but I just got a slice of the Sicilian with cheese and the Hawaiian pizza. I thought they both tasted great. The Hawaiian was sweet and savory while the Sicilian was thick and crispy. My only con would be the price of the pizza and the Sicilian as tasty as it was it was heavy in salt. Total for both slices was slightly north of $9. Overall, if I'm in town again I think I will get a slice of pizza from here again! read more

My friend and I always stop by here when we are at Reboot the arcade bar one street over. Usually it is one of the best parts of the night, super nice environment & great slices. Last night however, the cook or whoever he is with the bald head came out to clear tables about 30 minutes before closing and was very rude to us. Grabbed our trash and said something about closing soon and cleaning up and I said "oh yeah you're good no worries" BEING NICE and he turns around to snap back at me "Oh IM good?? No we close." Okay yeah I'll get my stuff and get tf out, but you are the rudest person I've come across in Dunedin entirely. Do better. It was Saturday (9/23) and the wife and I decided to do a field trip to Dunedin. Every couple weeks we like to venture out of town for the day or weekend depending what we get into. It's a forty minute drive my our base. Made it to Main Street just before noon, found a parking spot quick. We took a stroll thru the open air market that was set up on the north side of Main. Lots of vendors selling fresh fruits and vegetables and other craft items. This when we started getting hungry. Saw Tony's across the street and asked my wife if she wanted a slice, she did. As we made our way in I could see this was a real pizza joint, lots of pies to choose from for slices. Yes they have slices, can't begin to tell ya how tough it is to find a pizza place that serve slices. We stepped up to the counter and ordered, no problems or rudeness, quite friendly person as a matter of fact. It was twelve thirty by this time. My wife had a regular cheese slice and I ordered the Sicilian, it's been a while since I had sicilian so I thought I give it try. Also got a couple of fountain drinks as well. I bit into my slice and yea, it was satisfying...warmed up just right with tasty sauce and cheese. Not sure if I was gonna finish it, but I did. Wife enjoyed her slice as well and made a comment on the crust, " I like the crust" and she is picky about her crust. Was wondering if she was going to finish her slice cause I wanted to taste it, she saved me some and she was right, good crust. If you ever need a slice when visiting Dunedin, this is the place. For a quick bite or a late night bite, Tony's isn't bad! Reasonable priced and always has different pizzas offered to purchase by the slice. I especially like the white pizza and Florentine as red sauces in general affect my stomach. Will always be a go to in a hurry or needing a late bite. read more

Ordered the pie and added an additional topping and it was still a fabulous deal. The staff was outrageously friendly and very proud of their product. The thin crust was crispy but not too hard. I ordered pepperoni and sausage and HAD to eat one piece before leaving my parking spot. I was profusely thanked for stopping in and when I asked if I could take pictures it was a-ok. The dining area is long and one-table wide. So cute and reminded me so much of Italy. Merci! Perused the menu and many saw exciting items to try next time. The Chicken Coza Nostra (grilled chicken, mozzarella, roasted peppers, sundried tomatoes, basil, olive oil & balsamic). That makes my mouth water just thinking about it. Pizza was good! Nothing crazy special but it hit the spot when we were craving people and wandering downtown Dunedin (such a cute spot!!) Parking was easy and plentiful. The location of Tony's is right in the heart of downtown so easy to pop into other shops. The restaurant isn't huge, but there's a handful of seating. The pizza is already made and on display and they pop it in the oven to warm up - ours was warm but not super fresh. The service also wasn't very good. It's a small, quick service shop so it was fine, but the girl working the counter was pretty rude. Overall, we'd go back if we were in the area but it's nothing amazing - classic pizza here! read more

Absolutely delicious! We ordered a 1/2 pepperoni, 1/2 bacon & mushroom pizza & it was so tasty and filling! The pizza was not greasy either, which was greatly appreciated. We also ordered one of the cannolis & it was fabulous. Great size, wonderful crunch to the shell, & delicious filling. We did order through the app, & learned that the employees at the store don't get any of the tip through the app, so try to order in person or over the phone if you can! read more

Its our first and last time we will ever give Tony's Pizza our business. We wanted to give our business to a local small business owner versus chain pizza. We ordered a large pizza from the owner who said the price up front and it would be 20 minutes. I charged it on my credit card and he asked me if I was going to tip him. I was dumbfounded. I politely and graciously asked if that is a request or a demand. He placed my credit card receipt to sign under the tip jar that he had just banged on top of the receipt. I removed it from under the tip jar wrote zero tip and signed it. Spent the next twenty minutes shopping at the wonderful boutiques along the boulevard. When I told them what just took place with your business neighbor. They said that is the owner and we hear it on the daily. I apologized to them for venting. Went in picked up my pie and gave it to the delightful musician that was performing Paul Simon songs on the street. Know idea of there pizza is good or bad but we will never have the desire to give them a second chance, read more

This was my first time at Tony's. I had ordered a pepperoni pizza for pickup via the Tampa Yelp Event. When I arrived a cheerful lady handed me my pizza. The interior looked clean & when I got home to eat, the pizza was very, very good. It was not a thick doughy crust. Instead it was thin which is the way I like it. The sauce had great flavor to it. The cheese was good, & the pepperoni was plentiful. And there wasn't oil dripping off my slices, which is always a plus. I plan on returning especially when Covid ends. So, I absolutely love Dunedin and always go for little day trips since I live In TC but I never ever would have drove 30 mins to get a pizza on a Thursday night but since Yelp Tampa Bay is awesome and I am an elite I got in to the Pizza Party and now absolutely love this pizza place. Let me tell you the Pizza was worth the drive it was hot and fresh when I picked it up Of course I was smart and called in my Lg Pepperoni Pizza as I was half way there. I was starving and it just smelt so good I literally was eating a slice at every red light "don't recommend" but a hungry girls got to do what a hungry girls got to do! The sauce was the perfect amount and the cheese was where it was at it was exactly what I needed after a long day of work and starving. The next time I'm in Dunedin I'm deft stopping by again! Love tony's!! Always so hot and fresh and the people are always so friendly. Definitely a must try place if in Dunedin.

First the good news.  The pizza is wonderful here, which is why I ordered tonight.  I called and she said it would be ready in 20-25 minutes.  I left early to make sure I'd get it hot out of the oven.  I arrived 15 minutes later and she said it wasn't ready yet, which was okay.  I paid for it and proceeded to wait 30 minutes until finally, I had to ask when my pizza was ready.  She asked for my name and pulled a box from the top of the oven that had been sitting there for who knows how long.  I asked how long it had been sitting there and she said not long.....a lie.  Remember, she didn't even check on my order until I asked.  I will call later tonight and speak with the owner and see if they make any attempt to make up for this.  Shame on you Tony's.....you need to hire better help. An update to this review.....I called the manager of Tony's and he apologized and said I could get a free pizza on my next visit. Thank you Tony's for doing the right thing! read more
