Rizzoli's does a deals almost every day of the week, and there's one on Wednesdays that I love-$13.99 XL cheese pizza. Their cheese pizza is really good. A lot of pizza places in Clearwater claim to be "NY style" but fall flat. Rizzoli's cheese pizza slices are the closest to NY style that I've had since moving here. Oh, I do wish I listened to the negative reviews here before ordering via Uber Eats yesterday! The Margherita pizza that was delivered to me was just *awful*. Very little cheese, a thin smattering of sauce, maybe three or four slices of pepperoni per slice that I paid a premium to add, dried up basil, and probably one of the worst cardboard-esque crusts I've ever experienced. I'm a pizza-loving person and it's saying a lot that I hated this pizza SO much. Just do yourself a favor and don't order a pizza from this place because if you like real pizza you're very likely going to regret it, just like I did!! read more

Consistency is why I love Rizzoli's. I ordered a generic pepperoni pizza last night and it was enjoyed by all. The crust was thin and crispy from the center to the edge. The sauce and cheese was evenly spread across the whole pie nearly all the way to the edge. I really wanted to like this place. It a local restaurant, with a neighborhood vibe. They used to be excellent. I have ordered here for over 7 years. I don't know if it's a new cook or new management, but the last 3 times I've tried Rizzoli's for delivery, it has been a miserable experience: Food so unsatisfying that people in my house just refuse to eat it. I'll spare you the long review and just say a few things: Pizzas: Wrong ingredients, undercooked. Limp, Flavorless pies. Cheesesteaks: Don't bother. Dried up beef, missing ingredients. People should want to devour pizza and subs, yet we had most of it left over. The order arrived with a peculiar smell unlike that of food. When there are so many great Pizza and Cheesesteak restaurants around, I just can't recommend Rizzoli's. Tonight I gave them one last chance. Two stars is probably being generous. The worst pizza I've ever had. I ordered a Margherita pizza, thinking keep it simple. It was literally inedible. The basil on the pizza was brown and decaying from age, no sliced tomatoes, the mozzarella tasted like slices of cheap white American cheese. The crust was like a saltine cracker without the salt. The garlic was right out of a jar. This was so badly made I'm sure the staff realized it, but they served it anyway. For me this is not bad but not great. I really like the steak pizza but regular pizzas have good toppings but barely any sauce except near the crust. All of the food including the pastas are close to being awesome but feel like they are missing just one thing to get there. The Alfredo is creamy and has plenty of garlic but just feels like something's missing to complete the experience. Much like the lack of sauce on the pizza it just doesn't hit right. You can order more sauce but I don't remember to do so as I don't order often and always afraid of making it soggy. There's a lot to like with the menu give it a shot as I will order again but not my goto. read more

Tried a few times. I recommend 7-11 pizza over this hands down. There's a big tall heavy set guy making pizza. While waiting the girls were nice think manager maybe. But he's making the pizza sweating into the food smoking and going to bathroom not washing hands. He was at other pizzaeras they fired him so high. Anywhere he goes I will never order food. He worked for my friend, a little more upscale menu then here. But he was let go not bathing and deficates himself and stays at work wipes his hands all over. This place is losing customers over him. Get the shorter girl to make it if you do. I say manager I don't know but I can't after what I seen. I feel bad for owner he is doing drugs on property as he did on his previous jobs. We dined in, and had a 14" pepperoni and onion pizza, a 20 ounce BudLight, and a fountain drink for the total price of about $21 before tip. The pizza is NY style, and very tasty. The atmosphere was casual, with a few televisions for watching sports. The restaurant, including the restrooms, was clean. The staff was friendly, hard working, and efficient. We have tried this place several times over the last few years, hoping it will get better but it's just ok. The pizza is the saving grace reason why I gave a 3 rather than a 2. It's decent-it's crispier than most of the pizza places around here and that means a lot. However, the apps are never very good. We've tried the wings, the mozzarella sticks, and the cheese fries and I always ask for them to be well done. They never are. Fried food should be crispy!! And the cheese fries-- I was horrified when they didn't have gooey yellow cheese on them-any other cheese on cheese fries is unacceptable. read more

I love you guys. Great pie once again. Got the Margherita specialty pie for their Monday specialty pie special. I added fresh tomatoes which made it a bit wet but I always fire up the small oven at home anyway to heat the slices so I knew this going in. Delivery was ahead of schedule. It decided to pour right then. Murphy's Law I guess for my delivery guy. He wasn't phased. It's that time of year for storms. All I've gotten from them is pies but I've been consistently happy. Needed to find a good pizza place to feed 25 hungry salespeople at Ferman Ford. I checked one local spot but they wanted over $20 per pizza so I had to quickly rule them out so I could keep it under my budget. I went on Yelp and found Rizzoli's that got great ratings and reviews and had some awesome coupons on their site. The person on the other end of the phone could not have been any nicer or more helpful. We ordered 5 XL Pizzas and 2 Baked Zitis and even with tax and tip, I still kept it under $150, which was only $6 per person. I ordered Supreme Pizza, Meat Lover's, Chicken Bacon Ranch, Veggie, Pepperoni/Meatball and a Mushroom with Roasted Red Peppers. They were all friggin' phenomenal but the best part was the excitement from everyone at the dealership. "You ordered Rizzoli's??!?!?! They are the BEST!!!" I don't know if it was the rain or all the errands I had been running all day but a business friend of mine gave me a coupon for Rizzoli's and I figured it was a perfect day to try it. My husband and I ordered their large pepperoni pizza and received a complimentary pitcher of Bud Light! We didn't have to wait long at all. Our steaming hot pizza was brought to us in the dinning area. We decided to indulge with the pepperoni even though we knew this would create much grease. I have NEVER been so surprised and impressed! There was no grease! They ingeniously put parmesan cheese under the pizza to absorb all the grease! Now let's talk taste! 5 STARS! We all know it has to be the perfect cheese:crust:sauce ratio in order to give the proper satisfaction. Rizzoli's nailed it! At first I even thought the crust was too thin but no way. We had a great dinner delivered. At first glance when I open the garlic knots I thought to myself some were undercooked. They were not. There was a nice crispiness when I ate one and they were in a perfect amount of garlic and oil. They were delicious. The sausage and pepperoni boli was good as well. The sauce they give for those two items is good not too sweet or tart. Then the white pizza with spinach and tomato. Cooked well thin crust very tasty. We will absolutely be back. read more

They have gone so far down here I'll never order again. Stay away. Chicken wings use to be awesome and if you wanted to make them crispy they do it. Now soggy. Sauce doesn't hold. Throw em out as others have said. Two times in a row they cut the Stromboli the wrong way. When I use to love em the Stromboli stretched the box. Now 14 bucks for the wrong cut and a tiny portion. I have eaten the spaghetti here 4 times. It's mediocre, good enough when I'm out of other ideas or don't feel like driving any further. First off, they don't make a meat sauce. HELLO!!! THIS IS AMERICA!!! LAND OF BACON AND HAMBURGERS!!! Someone will comment that REAL Italians don't put meat in their sauce. I DON'T CARE!!! THIS IS AMERICA, ONLY CHEAP ITALIAN RESTAURANTS DON'T MAKE A MEAT SAUCE!!! Secondly, the sauce they do make is very bland and un-remarkable. I rarely have food delivered because I don't have much faith in the process: cold food, takes longer than promised, screwed-up orders, employees possibly tampering with the food, the whole "TIPPING" shakedown, etc. The other night I didn't feel like going out so I called this place and had some spaghetti delivered. The woman on the phone asked if I wanted to "tip the driver" as I was pre-paying with my card. I said "No, I don't know how long it's going to take to receive my food or if it's going to show-up hot or cold. I'm not going to PRE-TIP your employee for a job they haven't even accomplished yet". Rizzoli's charges $3.00 for delivery. The "DELIVERY CHARGE" should go directly to the drivers!!! There is NO REASON the restaurant should charge their customers extra money for a delivery if it's going into the owners pocket. The "DELIVERY CHARGE" is to pay for their drivers paycheck AND THUS I HAVE ALREADY PAID THE DRIVER FOR DELIVERING ME MY FOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I HATE the "TIPPING" shake-down!!! The spaghetti showed-up at the last moment AND IT WAS COLD!!! Now, mediocre spaghetti that is hot and fresh is at least TOLERABLE! But, mediocre spaghetti that is cold and going stiff is LOUSY!!! The employee got no tip, I got a lousy meal, and Rizzoli's gets a bad review. read more

Food is good, they just don't follow order changes very well. Don't ask for and pay for an extra topping... they don't add it, yet they charge you.. I order, again, a small pizza with triple pepperoni and again got the same amount as I get when I order it with no extras... it's so consistent that I'm done ordering pizza from this restaurant. I just moved to this area and needed pizza. I checked with yelp and chose this place. I had my pizza delivered. I got the Tuesday special-14" with 2 toppings. My wife and I ordered a delivery pizza from Rizzoli's earlier this evening, and it was the best delivery pizza we've had since moving to Clearwater over 4 years ago. The crust was great, plus the sauce was the best. They put lots of ingredients on our Tuesday pizza with 2 toppings for $10.99, plus $2.50 for delivery. I only gave the young delivery guy $3 more , but I should have given him $4 or $5. Rizzoli's is our new pizza place! read more

Rizzoli's did not disappoint when it came to taste! The Supreme Pizza was perfectly on point with an even distribution of toppings and a thin and flavorful dough. We also ordered the Greek Salad but surprisingly they don't have Greek dressing. So we asked for Italian and ranch. Queen's pizza does a garlic ranch on their Greek Salad so the container of Ken's was sufficient. I actually mixed a little of ranch and a little Italian and I enjoyed that but understand that may be a little strange for others. Now I do have a suggestion and that is that Rizzoli's invest in real plates. Everything is served on paper plates and that means if you use Italian dressing, that plate is going to be saturated in oil and leave an oil mark on the table top. I'm also the kind of person that like to eat pizza with a knife and fork and when I cut a bite off, I cut right through the plate. Real plates seem like a sensible investment and one that would enhance the dine-in experience. read more
