Just had a terrible experience at this restaurant after patronizing it for 2 yrs. I did not know Washington County Health Department allowed restaurants to have dogs in the establishment. The waitress walked a customer through the restaurant to the patio area. The customer had the dog on the table and then walked the dog to relieve itself in the grassy area next to the patio. I could not eat the rest of my food. Joc___n told other customers I was upset. One of the customers started taking photos of me, pointing and laughing with the 2 other patrons at her table. This woman then came over to my table and was verbally abusive. It was a nightmare experience. BTW: had ordered the 2 meatball appetizer and it was delivered to me in less than 2 minutes. Obviously, it was already prepared and heated in a microwave! I have actually defended Anthony's when other negative reviews were posted on the Peter's Township site. I now get the bad reviews. At least I know I am not alone in having a terrible experience at this establishment. read more

I wanted to try a new place that had Gluten free pizza and I was not disappointed. The crust was thin and crunchy just like I like it. The toppings were just as delicious. I liked that the mushrooms and the onions were sautéed as thats my favorite way to have them on my pizza. We also got the Garlic Romano wings and the sauce was really good but I prefer a little less sauce on my wings when I have them. The ceasar salad was huge and the dressing was just as good as everything else. The only thing I wasn't really a huge fan off was the sweet tomato pieces on top. I dont really like sweet pizza I like savory. The server was super friendly and attentive and the food came out really quickly. There was plenty of seating and the bar area was really nice. I will definitely be back to try other wings and get the Gluten free pizza again. read more

The pizza is great! BUT the entrance way to the door is littered with trash. The curb line at the parking lot has wrappers and straws and garbage all over it. Don't the employees see it??? Isn't anybody on top of that? Makes you wonder what the kitchen looks like!! read more

Pizza was pretty tasty, the caprese is top tier and I didn't try the other pizza we had. I heard the other pizza is salty so I'm not sure why it's extra. About a month ago I stopped by to ask if they had a gluten and dairy free pizza, the person I spoke with said they have a Gluten Free pizza crust, but you can bring your own Dairy Free cheese and they will put it on your pizza. My wife and I haven't had Anthony's Coal Fired pizza in nearly a year. We have passed by many times without caving to our needs. Today, we absolutely needed to have it. We were STARVING and couldn't wait to get home to have our pizza, and this really hit the spot for all of us. I ordered takeout on their website a couple of days ahead. The process was really easy and our food was ready for us when we got there. They have a special where you can get a large specialty pie and a family sized Italian salad for $30. I took advantage of this and ordered Paulie's Pie along with the salad. They have to option to add garlic and basil to the pizza, which obviously I took. The garlic itself was on the pizza but the basil was on the side and I didn't find it until it was too late. The salad dressing also came on the side. Stopped on way out of Pittsburgh and needed a slice and something wet to drink. This place is kind of located in an odd spot- half of a building it shares with DQ. What I liked about this is that the walls have a lot of chalkboard paint on the walls with specials and awesome looking drawings behind the bar with the PGH skyline and drawings of sangria and beverages. If I could replicate their house salad at home, I wouldn't have to dine here so much, but I can't so I make this salad full of fresh veggies and zesty dressing a part of my weekly food runs! Hard boiled egg, celery, Kalamata olives, red onion, tomato, and red wine vinaigrette are the ingredients in this best ever salad , and I always top it with their Italian tuna! Just a tip, they sell their dressing so you can always get a container to-go if you find that you love it as much as I do! I always ask for some bread on the side to soak up the dressing when I'm done. It's just a must! If I'm feeding a few, I always pick up some meatballs and their eggplant Marino, and I make this salad a large and split everything, and my family is always happy to have this meal. The classic wings does not come with options for sauce - that is one thing that I would recommend having but they were still nice . We ordered delivery tonight through the website and DoorDash delivered a smashed up cold pizza 25 minutes after the delivery window. I called and spoke to the manager on duty tonight ( please forgive me for not remembering her name) she was one of the kindest and most gracious people you could ever speak to on the phone. A third party delivery service messing up their food and she was still amazingly kind in listening to what I had to say. I like their pizza and their manager is great, I would suggest picking it up if you can though. read more

Two words- DELICIOUS pizza!!!! Paulie's Pie. Please, do yourself a favor and order it. It's their signature meatballs (except a bit smaller for the sake of pizza topping), sweet or hot peppers , and lumps of ricotta cheese. It is OUTSTANDING! I typically don't care for pizza with red sauce - this one changed my mind. The restaurant is quaint, nothing super fancy, but clean and the staff is very friendly ! They have an outdoor patio with gas fire pits when the weather permits. The bar has a chalkboard wall that features the specials of the day drink wise. Anthony's is all pretty good. The food is generally excellent, but service can be slow at times. Also, it's not the most enchanting atmosphere. Can be pricey. For example. One meatball (normal size) is about 3.99$. They are good, but that's an outrageous price for a normal size meatball! read more

The pizza is very very good I will say. However, I do not like how limited your options are. You can't get any salad dressing other than their Italian. There are only 4 pizzas or so to pick from. They don't have ranch dressing which I think is crazy for a pizza place in the Pittsburgh area. I would only go back if I was getting pickup. Our server, Max was awesome.
