I got the hot honey chicken sandwich the chicken was perfectly cooked crispy on the outside juicy inside . The hot honey sauce on the chicken was excellent. The cool slaw was and pickles paired well with the chicken . The bun absolutely perfect toasted and fresh . My fiance ordered the crispy chicken salad she got extra cheese and tomatoes it weighed about 5 pounds lol . Lots of chicken also cooked perfectly and the coop de grâce was the balsamic dressing it all went perfectly together. We were waiting outside in our car and the lady working there brought our food out to us as soon as it was ready . She didn't have to do that . All in all im.looking forward to coming back and trying the other items on the menu . Real food served by real people . read more

My wife had a free meal from an event so we came for lunch. I got the Dirty Bird and fried. I liked the sandwich, not the best chicken sandwich I've had but really good. Covered with peppers and coleslaw with a Hot Pepper sauce it was really good. Everything is a la cart so you can get what you want. The chicken breast was large, flavorful and crunchy. The slaw was delicious. The service was really good. The person who took our order brought out the food as it was ready so it was fresh and hot. My wife's cheese sticks were very good. Great new spot in downtown Canonsburg! Finally stopped recently and already can't wait to go back. We ordered 20 hot garlic wings and their cheese sticks. The 20 wings were part of a special they had for only $20, which is a great deal with how expensive wings have gotten. With such a good deal, I thought they might be tiny, but the wings had a ton of meat on them. They were cooked to a perfect crisp and were delicious. Loved the sauce too. They came with a side of their house made ranch, which was spectacular. I also had an order of their hand breaded cheese sticks. You could tell these were made in house. Perfect flavor and crunch to them. Highly recommend this spot. read more

Small place with 4 or 5 tables. Menu has smash burgers, chicken sandwiches, wings, and a few other sandwiches. The kitchen staff was having fun while we were there. Always nice to hear that they were having a good day. My Dirty Bird had slaw, pickle and Louisiana Hot Sauce. The chicken was moist and nice tasting. The restaurant is cute and has a few tables to sit at. My daughter got a BBQ bacon burger and Cajun fries. She really enjoyed it but they aren't really smash burgers, just regular burgers. We also tried the mozzarella sticks which were home made and surprisingly good. The girl that took our order was really helpful and friendly. The chef came out and asked how our food was. I really enjoyed my meal from here that I took home one evening. The food is made to order so it was prepared after I placed it at the counter. I got a giant Smashburger that was a grilled cheese sandwich and it came along with cheese sticks as an option to french fries. The meal came with a can of soda too. Great fried chicken sandwiches. We had 3 different kinds (including Mac & cheese and Nashville hot (wasn't too hot)) and all were very tasty. Huge sandwiches with juicy chicken breasts. Great new Fried Chicken, Smash Burger place in Canonsburg, Pa. Other options, a Sloppy Joe, Cheesesteak, bone-in and boneless wings. I got the Mother Clucker, chicken breast, light, crunchy coating, yummy soft toasted bun, Cajun Aioli, coleslaw slaw, and pickles. Family got the Hot Honey Spicy Ranch sauce, slaw and pickles. Both were awesome! Chicken was tender and juicy, the toppings were plentiful, will be back again soon! And an order of boneless wings to go. They were good, pretty average, but the sauce was great, Cajun, Ranch, and Parmesan mixed. The chicken sandwiches are the stars of the show. read more

This is such a great place for wings! We have now ordered take out twice and both times were incredible. Some of the best wings I have ever had. Perfectly crispy with good chicken, no slime here! My favorite flavor has been the hot garlic. It is so unique with the perfect amount of spice. We will def keep coming back! read more

I moved up from Florida recently, had a craving tonight, and this was first attempt at wings in PA. I ordered delivery that did not disappoint! I got the 20pc Hot Boyz...the wings were perfect - large, crispy on the outside, tender inside, all meat not fat, and had a good amount of sauce (I usually order extra wet but there was no option for that). I only tried the Coop once and have to say it was a great sandwich. One of the best hot chicken sandwiches I ever ate. Fries were good as well. I've recommended this place to a few people. It's a simple set up but works. The lady working the counter was very helpful for us first time diners. Definitely will be back soon. read more

I went the first week it opened at lunch time. Lots of people getting takeout but there are a few tables inside to enjoy food there. You could tell that a lot of care goes into the toppings on the sandwich from the coleslaw that seemed house made to the giant pickle slices. I had an issue with my sandwich which was addressed right away when I emailed them and got a refund. I would give them another try despite a not great first experience due to prompt customer service. Was excited to see something new in Market Square. Walked past several times, checked out the menu, and looked inside. Always seemed a little slow, but I liked the menu. Finally, made it there with coworkers. We were all excited and had all explored the menu online. Arrived, to the nearly empty restaurant, stood for a few minutes at the greeters station wondering when we would be greeted and seated. Finally, someone came from around a corner and directed us to the nearly empty upstairs. We seated ourselves on the deck. Server arrives, takes our orders. Three of us ordered the "Coop's on Fire" wrap, different sauces. Ordered the appetizer sampler. They were out of onion rings. No problem. Two of us ordered coke. Waited nearly 50 minutes for our food. When it finally arrived, there were only three orders. Coworkers are eating, I still don't have my food. Finally, I go to the kitchen to see where my food is. Server makes an excuse about how the kitchen had been "slammed" by a large party and was behind. Meanwhile, the restaurant was nearly empty when we arrived an hour prior and I told her so. My food finally comes, ROOM TEMPERATURE! I've already eaten my WARM fries. We had to ask for silverware and napkins. We never did receive any napkins. We were there for one hour and 17 minutes. That is unacceptable for a place that serves chicken and burgers! I don't like writing bad reviews, but the service was sooooo bad that I won't be returning. The manager even came to our table because we complained. We didn't have sauces, silverware, drinks. Service wasn't any better even after the manager spoke with us. The food was actually good, even though it wasn't delivered hot. I would have given them the benefit of the doubt and probably returned being that they're new to Market Square. But, the service was so bad that I will not return nor will I recommend anyone go there. Don't make excuses for poor service. Do better! read more

When you first walk in your nose is assaulted with two distinct and equally pungent aromas First is raw sewage and secondly a vinegar pepper sauce that hints of something worthwhile in store. The first red flag should have been when we asked to add onions and pickles to a burger,obviously this request was beyond the scope of the staff when the person at the counter asked the owner he was adamant that we could not add these items as "it would confuse the kitchen " I ordered the Cockys signature mother clucker The food came to the table in waves ,first onion rings then a burger then the chicken sandwich The beverage selection was canned or bottled out of the cooler with no provision for cups or ice. The food was hot, Not spicy hot ,as a matter of fact we could detect no hint of seasoning whatsoever. Cocky does however seem to fit with the attitude of the owner so it would appear aptly named. Zero stars for even a feeble attempt to provide any semblance of customer satisfaction due to the owners adamant refusal to add pickles or onions to a burger Best of luck to you ,I can imagine you will need it .as for me I flew the coop and won't go back to roost there again. read more
